Good value for money

Lovely host , was very flexible and accommodative. Did their best to make our stay pleasant. Very listening and caring.

One of the room had an odd smell as if not used for a while. Nothing terrible but something we noticed as soon as we entered the room.

This was hands down the most comfortable and cleanest place I’ve stayed in India. Hosts Stella and Sebastian could not be nicer and more helpful. I arrived late at night and they arranged a driver for me for early the next morning. Stella also made me a delicious vegetarian breakfast.

I only have praise for this place and the gracious hosts

Good property for larger group gatherings of upto 15 people

Stella and Sebastian were excellent hosts. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. Our family room, accommodating 4 was spacious and perfect for our needs.

The mosquito netting needs to be improved. No restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

we were looking at the pet friendly home stay or hotel and this property came on the web page. but when we roamed around

the property is too interior and is overpriced. you can get a hotel in fort kochi at this price.the room does not have facilities for immediate tea maker or drinking water. it’s run by elderly people. one additional staff should be there for 24 hrs .

Relaxing place with good breakfast.

Really beautiful house with large and proper rooms. Situated in a quiet area, still quite close to the city Centre. The breakfast was also very good.

Tuk-Tuk drivers did not find their way there, I had to guide them using google map.

don't ecpect a star hotel facility, but when you look at the price its worth

its a property, those who want to stay in a heritage type home, its clean that's commendable.

its good only for those who doesn't much care about breakfast, though the price for the room is less but my children was expecting a buffet breakfast like star hotels, that was not there

Great property yo stay

Awesome property. Very very neat. Huge parking space. Hospitality n food are good. The beds and pillows are of top notch. Rooms are too big.

Restroom being detached from the living space is a concern, but that's how the heritage houses are designed.

An Ok stay

the house is beautiful from outside, easy to reach , clean , the breakfast was very good

the inside of the house has mostly old fittings, one of the room given was dark ,no sunlight was coming. moderate space in room. the couple who are managing the property are not comfortable with dogs, even though it is said “pet friendly.” my dog is very calm , dont even bark. wanted to keep my dog inside room for 2-3 hours, so that we can roam kochi. but owners strictly asked us to not keep dog inside. next day while we were calmly discussing it, the man came from nowhere and spoke very rudely saying dont argue it, thats our policy. also there are some rules like dont speak louder after 10 pm ,they close the door after 10 pm. so overall felt too many rules to keep , breakfast at 8 am, even though we stretched it to 9 .30 am but we used to get calls from them after 9 am if we are late. so overall no independence.

Heritage is nice, but comfort is key

Very courteous couple running the place. The nice freshly cooked breakfast accompanied by local and delicious fresh fruits. The spacious place outside the rooms. Rich history of the home.

The use of one bathroom for the five of us was difficult.. The latch didn't shut close in the bathroom. No dustbin in the room. Just one charging point in each room. No geyser for hot water. Depending on solar heater alone for the rainy season meant cold water baths for aged people and children on all of the days. This property is not suitable for old people. The door steps have raised ledges which are a health hazard for the very young as well as the old. The chest of drawers don't look clean from the inside. Maybe a paper lining would be a quick solution. There were only thin bedsheets to convert oneself in the night. Thin duvets should have been provided. The extra cot was too short - it ta really meant for a small child only. Hand towels were not available until requested for repeatedly. A washing machine and a drier should be provided for use of the guests even if it's on payment. We struggled with drying our clothes since it was the rainy season. The house is situated in an out of the way interior place even if it's in the city. To get a transport to go somewhere was a nightmare each time. We had cancelled cabs, auto rickshaws either not agreeing to go or charging exhorbitantly or asking us to get off and driving away even when we were sitting inside. A hired car for the duration of the stay is the best idea specially if you're more than 4 people.

The people were very sweet and understanding. The house is dreamy and excellent for pics. Spacious rooms. Good and healthy breakfast! They gave 4 verities of fruits!! They allow dogs!! Big big big star for this 🙂

Didn't get hot water 😬 But we could compromise on this.

On the whole good value for money.

The building itself was kind of iconic. The location was only 600 mts from the yacht club where we had an event to attend. There was good parking space too.

The toilet needs a make over.

A really old home with really nice people

Its a really old house with all its charm. The owners make sure you feel like you are visiting relatives or something, and that characteristic 'hotel' feel is entirely eliminated
