Vintage decorations, extraordinary welcoming host, food quality in the restaurant - Polish specialties, cooked with very fresh ingredients and very tasty. Great atmosphere and synergy between the hosts and all guests.
We liked it all.

Breakfast was very good, plenty quantity. Very interesting and unusual little hotel. Loved the atmosphere, definitely would come back if travelling to the area. Staff are very friendly and helpful, we were arriving after checking hours, but they stayed to wait for us very till very late.

I liked the rooms, the hosts and the location, what I did not like was that the Hotel wifi password was not shared and had to rely on the city free wifi which at times was really faulty... Next guest make sure to also share the wifi password of the hotel because people like me use it for squiring information and have a better experience over all ..

A charming small hotel, a quiet and large interestingly decorated room with a large balcony, which unfortunately we could not use due to the weather. Next to the hotel there is a popular restaurant of the same name where you can eat a lot of interesting dishes. Good breakfast, although not included in the price. Very nice owners, whom we remember fondly.
Only with the weather we were not lucky.

Breakfast was simple but fresh and diversified, including meat, cheese, veggies and fruits. Value for money - exceptional (7EUR)!
Despite the presence of the big and busy restaurant (Friday night), the room was quiet, and we slept very well.
The bohemian style of the place and atmosphere is very unique.
Nothing.

Modest, but very nice little hotel in the middle of Oberhausen. Every room from the restaurant to the individual rooms is artistically decorated. The rooms are quite comfy, and in some rooms, one of the beds will be larger than a single, ranging up to a small double, but you'll have to inquire with the owner as to availability. Each room has a large, modern bathroom, and just outside, a shared area with a fridge, coffee maker, etc.
Breakfast was pretty good, being basically a German-style continental breakfast with bread rolls, cold cuts, cheese, cucumbers, etc along with orange juice and coffee. As a restaurant, the Polish dishes they have for dinner are very good. Maria, the lady who runs the hotel and restaurant is very nice, and good about accomodating guest's needs and gave me very good local tips. Note that when you check in, it's through the restaurant or bar, and they'll take you over to the hotel portion (separate entrance) once you've signed in.
Very limited on available electrical outlets, which might be a problem if you have a lot of devices to charge. I carry a power strip with me for such situations, but would have been out of luck on charging all my electronics if I didn't have that.

The room was clean and functional. Bathroom was equipped with soap. The breakfast for 6 euro per person is an absolute must.
Great location and above a very nice bar/restaurant.
Nothing really. It can be a bit noisy from other guests, but from the bar downstairs you absolutely hear nothing.
