Absolutely fabulous breakfast, I haven't had such tasty bacon and sausages in a long time!
Not a big deal but it would have been good to have the option of a half hour earlier breakfast, to get an earlier start on the day

Staying at High Wray farm was like being a guest at a friend's home. Sheila was welcoming and provided many lovely welcoming gestures such as tea and cake in the dining room each afternoon when we returned from our adventures. Breakfast was fantastic, well cooked with daily specials and plenty of choice. A small fridge was available for guest use
Bedrooms are upstairs which did not prove an issue for us but could be problematic for anyone with mobility issues

Absolutely fantastic staying on a working farm with Chris and Shiela, their working dog Floss and the cat Pippin. A very cosy place, beautiful food, lovely rustic and authentic rooms with modern facilities. Almost like staying with extended family away from the ambleside bustle but only a short boat ride from Wray Castle down the road. Definitely recommended.
Nothing.

The breakfast was fantastic and so was the company of the other holidaymakers as well as the landlady's welcome. We appreciated a glass od Sherry from her decanter. The afernoon lemon cake waiting for us after a walk by the lake was delicious! Very peaceful hamlet, perfect area to look at the night skies and to appreciate the silence of the countryside.

Great breakfast as for location you will need to drive
I have not stayed in many Bed&Breakfasts there is no television in your room I would have liked a television in the room I stayed in also if you were watching television downstairs and you wanted a cup of tea you would have to go up to your room and make it there then bring it down to the living room
