Checkout by leaving keys in room Big room and bathroom Clean

Sends messages via booking saying check out is at 1pm but when you get to room says 11am. Heating instructions aren’t clear on to how to work it and it’s a corner in the room not going warm the room properly

Amazing

Everything was new and clean. The mattress was amazing. After a long day of hiking, the mattress was the cherry on top.

Derby Road Trip

.Lovely room and staff were professional and helpful. Cozy bar and dining area for a Derby Country Hotel.

Stairs up to room as I have disability and wood burner affected my breathing as the bar is quite small. I made sure I stayed as far away from burner as possible though.

A warm and friendly welcome with great food and craft beers.

We stayed at The Canal Inn for two nights in between Christmas and New Year to attend a family wedding. The staff at the Inn were superb, so welcoming and approachable. It felt as if everyone was interested in what we were doing and eager to help out and to make you feel welcome. The food at breakfast and evening dinner was super and reasonably priced. All in all our stay at The canal Inn added a great deal to a very enjoyable family event.

It was all superb. We'd happily stay there again.

Lovely cosy B&B, nice atmosphere, friendly staff an a lovely breakfast the following morning.

Bathroom was tiny but couldn't be helped!!

Fantastic place to stay, suited my work location and was very comfortable, will return without fail.

The breakfast was brilliant, all fresh produce that was hot when delivered.

Great staff, atmosphere and room

Great location with plenty of parking. Staff were really friendly, pub quiz & games night were great fun. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Room was like new, well equipped and very comfortable.

Apparently they don't do breakfast during weekdays, but they did when I was there and have an arrangement with somewhere nearby if you do want it.

Fresh and very comfortable hotel

Hotel had recently been updated to a high standard. Very comfortable bed .Nice room and onsuite bathroom.

A comfy chair in the room would have made it even better.

Great comfy room with lovely ensuite. We ended up in the sister hotel for a meal which was excellent. We had an issue with payment but, this was soon resolved by friendly, helpful staff.

The staff were really friendly, the food was amazing, the rooms were really clean and well laid out, spacious yet cosy.

The constant banging of the doors and drunk wedding guests waking me up at 1.25 am and 4.30 am. The doors need soft close hinges on them as it was constant saturday afternoon/evening.

Beautiful rooms, the bed was lovely and super comfortable! I had such a wonderful stay here and would definitely stay at the Canal Inn again :)

great place to stay / sleep… consider eating breakfast somewhere else

beautifully fresh furnished room, was ideally situated for our purposes. the room was very clean and will definitely stay here again.

I will not take the breakfast included, the overall stay was great, the breakfast was a big let down.

Lovely - can’t fault it!

Freshly renovated, nicely presented and well equipped rooms. We stayed in a ‘cosy double’, which was actually a very decent size. Tasty cooked breakfast included.
