This is a great property for a one night stay only and perfect for our needs.
The location is great, Sandbanks is a stunning place. Difficult to turn car around, especially if at night, so would move the big storage boxes that were outside.
Definitely needed a decent fridge (turned on) as this is essential. Also a table and chairs outside and would suggest having a microwave over the kitchen equipment/oven that was provided as this is not a place to cook in. Also felt very exposed to the owners/ hosts property and had to close curtains.

Comfortable as we were just staying overnight but could not stay longer as no fridge, washing up, prep area or table to
Very clean and comfortable beds and great location.
No fridge , kitchen ‘area’ was in the bedroom and no where to prepare food, wash up or eat it. Cottage smelt v damp and fusty. The garden in front of the cottage was advertised as accessible but no where to sit and it felt like you were trespassing in the owners garden . Owners did not introduce themselves and felt as there was no furniture outside they were not keen for us to be in the garden and they wanted to have it to use for their own personal use. This wasn’t anything they said as we did not see them but it was the impression you get from being there. The accommodation should be advertised as suitable for an overnight stay, as we were, but not to cook in or relax at during the day. The parking area is v tight for turning around as they have v large storage baskets in the parking area that make it hard to turn a vehicle, but luckily I gave a small car it would be very hard for a larger vehicle .

Brief! Comfy beds, nice decor, friendly hosts, but sadly no kitchen.
It is a great location and lovely bungalow, which we only needed for a one night stopover. It is tastefully decorated and the owners mother who welcomed is on arrival, was more than helpful and friendly.
We had our dog with us and would have liked her to be free to run in the garden, especially after a long journey, but as the bungalow garden wasn't securely fenced, we couldn't do that which was a shame. The pictures on the listing also don't show that the bungalow looks straight out on the hosts house and swimming pool. It wasn't as private as it looked in the photos. However, for one night this wasn't a big issue. Our main issue was the lack of a kitchen. The listing should really say that there is no kitchen but that a small portable oven/stove, toaster, and kettle are in the bedroom. We would not have booked had we known this was the set up. I would suggest a small fridge, possibly a microwave, and all the kitchen items be put on the trestle table in the entrance lobby, and a small folding table and chairs be put by the curtain to eat at. That way the cooking smells aren't in the room and there will be some food prep space. Also some oven gloves, some bowls of different sizes, a washing up bowl, and washing up liquid would have been useful. It's a cute place, and a few small additions would make it more workable.

Lovely stay thank you -
Great location and facilities - easy instructions on everything Nice furnishings - have recommended the shower tiles to my sister who is building her house! Nespresso a nice touch! Friendly cat!
Tiny things Milk pots were off - a fridge big enough to put some milk in would have been ideal The bathroom lock broke - came unscrewed but we fixed it

Lovely place, still getting logistics down. Would return
Beds were comfortable. Area is lovely. We were looking for an overnight stop-over that had a double bed room and two singles.. it delivered. Hosts were responsive and polite. It's truly a nice spot.
I deliberated a lot on this. I dont like to run a place down unnecessarily and it looks to me this is a place newly running as an accommodation spot and finding its feet, hence the high rating. We arrived late evening and it clearly hadn't been cleaned. It was fixed within an hour (well done guys) but was an inconvenience given we had driven from Scotland and just wanted to crash for the night. I dont hold it against them but couldn't score it high on cleanliness for this reason. I doubt it'll be a problem for later guests and it hasn't put us off returning. I read the other reviews, and if you expect self catering I think you have it wrong. It's a spot to operate from - no lounge or kitchen, but I didnt need or expect that. There were logistical problems though, as neither the fob nor the code seemed to operate the gate and the key didn't seem to lock the apartment door. Again didn't bother me as was only overnighting and had help in the vehicle to open by hand. I think these are teething troubles from a new venue with responsive owners that actually do sort things out fast. I think it'll only get better and more pleasant.

Pleasant
Beautifully appointed bedrooms, fabulous shower, nice location.dogs welcome.
Cooking facilities were located in the double bedroom. Nowhere to sit down and eat . If we had been staying longer and needing to cook it would have been very difficult. Washing up had to be done in the (very small) bathroom sink. Refrigerator was a tiny can fridge, and not working properly. We were out most of the time, visiting family so it wasn't a problem for us but it took us by surprise. Not ideal.
