About this cabin rental
NORTH PARK ENTRANCE AT GARDINER. This Yellowstone Cabin Rental Is On Private Acreage Five Miles From The Park's North Gate with the Best Wildlife Watching And Cutthroat Trout Fishing!
Charming cabin built in 2009 with two bedrooms that sleeps 5 located just five minutes from Yellowstone Park's North Entrance on several acres of private property. Perfect for travelers who want easy access to the famous Northern Range and Lamar Valley with its bison, elk, deer, wolves, bears, AND fishing for world-famous Yellowstone cutthroat trout!
This beautiful cabin is unlike all other vacation rental properties in the area. Lying in an extremely private location just above Highway 89 north of Gardiner, Montana, and the Roosevelt Arch, the cabin is easily accessed by a well-maintained, short, 300 yard-long Private Drive.
This setting provides you with total solitude and isolation from any hustle and bustle of the busy roadways leading to/from the park. However, at the same time, when needed, you are just minutes away from restaurants, the market, and shops in Gardiner or a bit further away in Livingston and Bozeman.
Built on a log frame, this cabin has all modern amenities yet has a great amount of rustic appeal including beautiful hardwood floors. It has enormous windows giving you unmatched views of Yellowstone's Electric Peak, Devil's Slide, Dome Mountain, and many other spectacular geological features. Wildlife abound here and deer, elk, pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep, or bison are seen on the meadows and mountain slopes near the cabin. Often during the spring and fall, they are standing right in the cabin's yard. No-where else in the northern Rockies will you find wildlife this abundant and close in a natural setting.
Horses graze nearby, and the Yellowstone River, home to world-class trout fishing, leaves the park and passes just a few hundred yards below you.
There are many access sites to the Yellowstone River very near to the cabin, one within easy walking distance (that is a very great fishing spot...just ask our boys!).
Being near Gardiner, our cabin is at the home of the Yellowstone Forever, a long-standing educational institute offering numerous courses in the park. The Electric Peak Cabin is a perfect place to stay when visiting and attending these courses.

This property was amazing. Super clean and very comfy. We really enjoyed the addition of binoculars and outdoor seating to watch the animals outside of our stay.
For being neighbors to a horse ranch you cannot smell them which I think some people would be happy to know!
We got to enjoy the view of beautiful sunsets and watch elk as they grazed on the grasses of the property.
The bedding could use a little bit of an upgrade but overall the bedrooms were cozy and allowed us to get a good night’s rest!
I would rebook this place 100 times.over. We had only one full day in Yellowstone and because of its location we could do everything we wanted to

The cabin is perfectly located for Yellowstone North entrance. Spectacular views surround the cabin in all directions. Todd was an excellent host. He was always available to answer questions and give suggestions. Our first time visiting Montana and we plan to return and rebook at the Electric Peak Cabin.

Close to north YS entrance and services. Saw elk grazing in the morning. Enjoyed the hot springs down the road.

The place was wonderful and SO clean! Real wood floors and furniture! Huge front window for the awesome view! Electric mountain is right there! Quite and quaint cabin! Beds are nice and soft. The authentic wood furniture is beautiful. The front portch is perfect for viewing the scenery!

Perfect location! Beautiful views and elk all around most days. Great location for quickly heading into Yellowstone every day. cabin had bear spray, sleeping bags, coolers, etc. Beds were comfy and sheets were so soft! Do wish there had been a few fans for having on to sleep better at night, airflow and noise. Todd, the host, was very helpful with great fishing tips! Already thinking of planning our next trip out!

Todd was a WONDERFUL host! The cabin was clean and the views and proximity to town and park were perfect! Loved sitting on the porch and feeding the horses, enjoyed great meals from local restaurants, and had an amazing time with our adult kids. Thank you Todd!

You cannot find a better place to access Yellowstone. The property owner was great and the cabin was everything we expected. I highly recommend this property if you have a small group. My daughter and I alternated days in the park with exploring Gardiner and the surrounding area. We will be back.

This was an amazing place to stay! Todd was great, always able to get a hold of if needed. So close, yet far enough away from Yellowstone to make it so peaceful and quiet. Would go again in a heartbeat! Wonder time!

Everything at Electric Peak cabin was excellent! The views, location access to north Yellowstone, the Horses, Firepit, Wildlife and Todd’s Hospitality!
If you forget anything, Gardiner Market has it.
A few notes about activities other than Yellowstone Park: Yellowstone hot springs is a few miles north and is a cool option. The dirt road across the river (Yellowstone trail) is a cool perspective and runs all the way to the Roosevelt Arch in Gardiner. It can be accessed from the same road Yellowstone hot springs is on. Follow yer’ nose bbq in Gardiner has great brisket sandwiches.
Thank you Todd!

The cabin is in a great location for North Yellowstone travels. It was clean and as described. We loved seeing all the elk moving about the property and the mountains across the road were beautiful. Todd was very responsive when we had questions. The only drawback was the lack of washer/dryer and having to take our trash to a location down the road, not a huge deal but different from other rentals we've experienced. Overall, Todd was great to work with and the cabin is cute for a couple or small family heading into Yellowstone.

Absolutely perfect, the location, the sunsets pictures, the wildlife around you. The house has everything you need even binoculars and a cooler to use for those trips to yellow stone. I would give 6 stars if i could.

Comfy cabin great for four adults. Living room furniture needs some upgrades, but overall we were satisfied with the property.

The cabin was exactly as advertised. It has all the amenities you need. View from the cabin was relaxing and beautiful. I am so glad I did not book an expensive small, cramped hotel room inside the park. Very convenient location just 5 minutes drive outside the quaint town of Gardiner has restaurants and a well-stocked market with everything you need. North entrance to Yellowstone national park was immediately outside Gardiner. Electric Peak cabin gives the best of both worlds, privacy and close to the attractions.

The property was in the ideal location. Great for being away from crowds but close enough to town and the park to not waste time traveling.

Everything was perfect for our family! From 6 years old to 17 they all loved the animals and hot springs being so close! Close to town was nice too! I swear we saw more animals around and near the house then we did driving an hour into Yellowstone!
Absolutely staying again in the near future!!!! Todd was also very helpful with all the questions i had! Very responsive and friendly! We even got to meet him, super super nice guy!!!!

This was my husband & I’s first time visiting Montana and we could not have asked for a better experience! Todd was great at communicating and the views at the cabin are unbeatable! We can’t wait to come back and visit. Such an amazing week!

Comfortable, clean cabin with an amazing view of Electric Peak! It was cozy with 3 people...more people than that might be a bit too cozy. We loved seeing the elk in the yard first thing in the morning. The owner, Todd, was helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

This is a nice small cabin and was perfect for our stay.

The cabin was perfect for us, had all we needed to fix a few simple meals. Beautiful view of Electric Peak and the snow! Deer in the front yard and Todd directed us to find the big horn sheep and some good scenic roads.
The owner, Todd, responded quickly to messages and calls. Unfortunately a pipe had frozen and there was no water to the cabin! Todd directed us to a water pump out back to get water. He came out early the next morning and spent the day trying to fix the pipe. He did everything he could to make it right, but still no water inside the cabin.
We would defiantly stay here again!

We loved our stay at this cabin. Amazing views and location. 5 minutes to downtown Gardiner but still away and very quiet. Todd was an excellent communicator and host. WiFi was excellent and very comfy beds and linen. Amazing stay and value. Thanks Todd!

Todd is a fantastic host. His cabin is clean and has everything you need. The shower is tight though for a larger person. The cabin is close to town and close to the Yellowstone National Park North Entrance. Todd communicates very well and is super responsive,

The cabin is perfect, clean, excellent location and the area around the cabin is beautiful. This was our 3rd time to stay in the cabin for our annual family trip. We will book again for next year. Todd is amazing and answers your messages quickly. The elk visit the cabin every morning. My kids absolutely loved that. This cabin truly is our home away from home.

The cabin was so cozy and cute. We loved the huge picture windows looking out on the mountains. It was super convenient to town and Yellowstone. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Would have loved to curl up with a book and those views!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin! It was very clean and well kept and it had everything we needed. Having this cabin in Gardiner was a perfect location for visiting yellowstone. We had some snow while we were there and stayed inside and watched netflix. The heater kept us very comfortable in 14 degree weather in October, which we were prepared for. The elk came by every day and we got to enjoy them from inside. The bathroom was nice, but the shower was a bit small. We recommend arriving during the daylight as its tough to find in the dark. Its up a hill and a small address is on the fence post showing the location. We definitely would love to come back and enjoy another season. Mr. Todd was a great host!

This cabin is tight for 4 adults, but who cares! We spent most of our time outside and at Yellowstone. Every window has an amazing view. We loved Gardner and also enjoyed Yellowstone Hot Springs right down the road. If you are planning a trip to Yellowstone and don’t want to feel like a tourist, stay here. Best vacation every.

We stayed two nights at Todd’s place and can’t wait to go back! It is the cutest little cabin that as soon as you walk in the door, you feel like you’re home. It’s cozy and quiet which brought immediate relaxation. We flew into Jackson and drove through Yellowstone. Long drive but a great way to see the park. We were ending in Jackson otherwise we would’ve flown into Bozeman if Yellowstone was our only destination. There were plenty of restaurants around and a grocery store. Proximity to the north entrance of Yellowstone was maybe a 10-15 minute drive. Beautiful views along the way and a quick blink through the town of Gardiner. The town was super cute and filled with shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, and elk. We met Todd’s boys one morning and they recommended some fly fishing spots and gave suggestions on what bait to use. They were very nice and we enjoyed meeting them. Cleanliness is my top thing I look for and I’ve only ever stayed at one other place that was as clean as Todd’s and that was a chain hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable! The cabin was well stocked with everyday items which was nice. We truly loved staying here and can’t wait to go back! You won’t go wrong staying here!!
