Beautiful period property, fantastic value for money with very friendly accommodating hosts.

Everything! Beautiful location, clean, warm room and the bed is one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. Was greeted by the owner Tessa on the first night and shown around, then every morning by George (her son) as I had breakfast in the tearoom downstairs. The breakfast was an array of cereals and fruit juices, followed by a full English, which was plentiful and delicious. I mentioned to George that I was trying to stay away from heavier meals in the evening and he brought a microwave up to the landing so that I could prepare my own evening meal at the property. It's like nothing is too much trouble and it was very much appreciated.

Central village location.
Friendly owner.
Good breakfast.
Not a 'dislike' just a suggestion: some grapefruit/prunes/yoghurt etc would be a nice breakfast addition.

Everything! Great location, great property and the team could not have done anything more for us, fantastic!
Nothing we didn't like - apart from having to leave!

My husband and i enjoyed our stay The Olde House.
A very nice menu for Breakfast and we loved the quaint cafe which was run along side the B&B.
Room was clean and tidy with coffee and tea facility.
Location was excellent a lovely olde street, and so many places to explore with the castle on your doorstep.
Loved it and would go back again.

Very friendly and hospitable nothing was too much trouble, George even moved his vehicle so I could park outside the property. Breakfast was great quality and a good amount of choice. Sitting in the lovely tea rooms to enjoy our food we soaked up the atmosphere of this quaint town. This is an old property and therefore has its quirky side, the roll top bath in our room was a bonus. Very comfortable and cosy bed, clean and homely room.
There was nothing not to like, the location was spot on for a visit to the castle which was our purpose for staying in Dunster.

Breakfast was good and the staff excellent. They came on early to accommodate one of our fellow guests who had an early start when she left

Liked eating Breakfast in the cafe below accommodation. Location was excellent & staff very friendly, felt comfortable and nothing too much trouble.
Wasn’t sure re heating, came on in afternoon when out for the day but not in the morning, not sure how it worked. Little expensive but probably a realistic price considering location etc.

We were delighted to find the family room has a separate bedroom for the kids, so it's like a suite. The bathroom is huge! Other things we loved about this place are the staff, who were brilliant at anticipating our needs ("oh, you take soya milk in your tea? let me bring some up to the room too"); the breakfast was great and the location is perfect.
A rare situation where we liked everything!

Great value B&B in a good location. Perfect for a family of four with twin 11 year old girls for a weekend getaway

The location was perfect for us. The rooms were clean and well laid out, with T&C making facilities, a nice en-suite and decent electric shower. Our rooms faced the main road through Dunster but it was quiet at night, even with the window open. Breakfast is in the attached tea room. The full English was delicious and when my friends asked for a variation, it arrived with lovely presentation. Would be more than happy to make this my base if staying in the area again.
There was some slight confusion contacting the owners on arrival, and it looks like parking might be tricky, though there is a small car park on the edge of the village. I managed to find a space on the main street but each time it was the only one available.

Delightful stay
Excellent breakfast
Friendly atmosphere
There was a low door to enter our room
My husband knocked his head daily
There was a big notice saying Mind Your Head but maybe some soft substance could be put there as additional protection?

George and Tessa couldn’t have been lovelier, they made us feel so welcome. The food was wonderful, perfect breakfast cooked just as we requested. A varied range of menu was available to suit different dietary preferences. The property is so pretty and the rear garden was a relaxing little spot to sit and have lunch.
Everything was perfect, a lovely relaxing weekend with no dislikes.
