Up the hill, a bit out of the way, nice view and a great host. Facilities are definitely past their prime, but every shortcoming was redeemed having great philosophical conversations with the host over a lovely breakfast. Roberto is such a happy person, fun to hang out with. Also really appreciated being able to check in early and his help in organizing airport transportation.
Cleanliness, facilities in need of renovation.

Robert our host, made this stay very enjoyable, we liked catching up with him each day, and he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable.

A delightful place to stay. We had a king suite, which was spacious with a huge bed and beautiful hillside view. The bathroom was also excellent, with a rainwater shower and piping-hot water. Air-con worked fine; wifi reception was weak in the room itself, but strong just outside on the balcony. Roberto is a great host with an artistic and musical background; it's often his home recordings that will serenade you while you dig into your breakfast (included), featuring some of the most succulent fruit on the planet.
The location is on a hill at the end of a cobblestoned street, a few minutes' walk from the main avenue and its bus services. Returning, only the final 100 metres or so is steep, but those with mobility issues will want to take a cab. We were glad for the location in peaceful surroundings, away from the built-up and slightly frantic commercial area of Manzanillo.

A beautiful outlook over the bay. Even from bed. Nice indoor outdoor living. We saw whales in the distance. A highlight.

Great view, nice attached kitchen, good working a/c and wifi! Roberto is a great host. Make sure you let him know if you're vegan/vegetarian before he prepares breakfast, -- thanks for understanding that for some people, their diet is very important, especially when based on empathy and respect for the lives of other sentient beings. :)
Room could be cleaner. Very steep driveway.

Breakfast was great. The view was spectacular. It is a really comfortable place, peaceful, serene. We could live here.

Roberto, our host, was so welcoming. We really felt like we were at home. Especially the next morning when we were served a delicious breakfast of french toast, fresh fruit and coffee. He joined our table for a lovely chat. The view from the room was breath-taking. We woke up at 6.30am and saw the most amazing sunrise from our bed. Never have we experienced that before. The terrace made it so inviting to relax on the sofa, read a book and enjoy the view. In addition, there was a lovely pool with gorgeous landscaping. I only wish we would have had more time here. When we come back, we will definitely here again. Can only highly recommend!
