Perfect location. Walking distance of beach, pubs, restaurants & high street. Parking space. Only 20 mins from Colchester zoo. Delightful accommodation, perfect for a couple, comfy, clean, very quiet, lovely decor & a great walk-in rain head shower.
Nothing! but if being picky, clock in kitchen needed a battery & personally I would like a hook on the bathroom door.

Great location and decor was very modern & tastefull. The property had ample space and excellant facilities.
The hosts also provided excellent directions & information of local attractions.

Perfectly located close to the water and really comfy. The quality of the finish in the kitchen and bathroom was exceptional and we had a lovely relaxing couple of nights
Can’t think of a single issue with the property

Clean, well appointed and quiet.
Stairs up to property, no good for small dogs, need to carry them up. Well our diva had to be lol

Great location in the old part of town and information in advance from the owners. Fabulous walks. Comfortable, high quality, quiet accommodation? Enjoyed the arty shops and cafe’s in West Mersea.

Beautiful apartment in an excellent location. Everything we needed was there and more. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and comfy living area with balcony!
We were close to The Coast Inn which was a lovely spot and also had a meal at The Company Shed which specialised in seafood.
A great base for walking the coastline.

Fabulous stylish apartment for two, minutes from the harbour. Very quiet at night. Great area for walking with handful of pubs and restaurants nearby and lots of places selling fresh seafood during the day.
Apartment had everything we needed and in addition, access to drying facilities should you get drenched walking or sailing.

This is a beautifully decorated apartment and very comfy. It has everything you need to self cater but on our short break we ate out as it is just a short walk to the shore where there are 2 pubs and a fish beach bar.
There are several cafes on the Island but luckily no McDonald's so it feels unspoilt!
Enjoyed walks along the beach.
A full length mirror would be nice

Location was superb, close to the yacht club & jetty. Quiet, light & airy apartment and on-site parking.
'Cos I'm old-fashioned, Id like a radio in the bedroom!

Accommodation was great, clean, luxurious, and comfortable. The location was good, just a 5 minute walk to the sea, and pubs with amazing views. We were very lucky with the weather and saw beautiful sun sets.
Nothing.

The apartment was beautifully furnished with great attention to detail, it was light, airy, spotlessly clean and equipped to a very high standard. The kitchen had everything you need to cater for yourself, the French doors to a little balcony were perfect, and the bed was so comfortable. There was access to washing and drying facilities and if you have a dog there were even towels for them! David was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
The property was within a 5 minute walk of the coast and places to eat. The shops are about 15 minutes walk away.
Nothing, it was perfect!

Very good location although as it was out of season, and also early in the week, some facilities were closed. Brilliant walks.
Perhaps a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom and shower

Very close to beaches, moorings, eateries, two lovely pubs etc and loved the Hamptons style decor
Nothing - we’d book again. Would recommend.

Mersea Island was wonderful with lovely beaches and we managed to fit in a couple of lovely walks . The apartment was lovely, more than you could ask for and the location was perfect , we would have given 10/10 BUT (see below)
Our last night was marred by people leaving and making a lot of noise below our bedroom window then later on there was another couple talking loudly and occasionally swearing below the window so I had to get up and tell them to be quiet, they did apologise but we couldn't get back to sleep. I would suggest that guests should be warned about possible noise and also the people leaving should also keep noise to a minimum. Saying that we would love to return some day

Spotlessly clean and well appointed apartment. Very cozy during the recent sub-zero temperatures, especially after bracing coastal walks.
Also very good communication from our host David and the provision of a bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch and much appreciated....
