We arrived at the hotel at 9.30 pm. On the photos on internet it looks like a beautiful hotel with lights outside. But in reallife everything was dark and totally not as on the photos. It totally felt like a horror hotel from Netlix.
Also inside the hotel the hallways where totally dark, perhaps for sustainability but not friendly at all.
The room was terrible as well. Bathroom was dirty and in bad condition. And very outdated. The pillow was the size of a postcard and the beds felt like a wooden table.
Very sad to see a beautiful building like this in such a bad state. Would never recommand this hotel. The price is just way too high!

Private parking. Breakfast was fine but overpriced imo.
Looked nothing like the pictures. Was old in reality and smelled old too.

Well I was a bit disappointed : The hotel was in a sort of a "backstreet", l would say it had lost its glory of the old days. this compared to the pictures on internet. It was also in complete renovation, lift out of order and a big stairs to get into the hotel.
The staff were extreme helpful and friendly, but that was the best of the hotel. We had rooms, I had a client from Japan with me, which were renovated but the bathrooms, were a bit "just".

Friendly and helpful staff.

Rooms were clean and the one staff we saw was friendly
1970s decor very old and tatty , work going on needs to be closed for renovations, position looks over a railway , we wouldn’t recommend it at all extremely poor , way too expensive at £110 more like £50

Good location and staff at front desk were very helpful
Holes in the bathroom shower and paper/drywall was ripped in the bathroom. Elevator was not working and should have let people know as chose it also for the elevator. Strange smell everywhere and hotel
looked very tired.

room was very clean, new furniture, spacious
very uncomfortable pillows, small, flat, not fluffy. Overall, the hotel is ok for overnight staying, but in my opinion is overpriced

Nothing to like about it.
The hotel was way below average for everything.
The bed is the most uncomfortable I have ever seen. The window of the room was broken.
There was no wifi on 3rd floor.
The room and entire corridors smelled strongly of vinegar.

The lady at the reception was very helpful and arranged dinner reservations for us via phone on our way traveling to the hotel. Great service!
..Rooms facing the city side are very loud since already early in the morning there trains; the pool was closed - under construction- but we weren’t informed in advanced; the lobby smelled (wet carpet smell.
8.0
The staff, and the location.

Friendly staff, parking on site, right in town near station and shops etc.
Clean spacious room.

The hotel is in a quiet side street, handy for the restaurants and park. The room was very clean, airy and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful and there is free secure parking. Real Tetley tea bags on the breakfast buffet.
In its heyday it was obviously a very grand affair, but now a bit shabby. Perfectly acceptable for a stopover, though. Very small pillows!

The room was very dark with blinds and quiet.
We had reserved a "standard family room" (30sq-m on the booking.com website). It turned out that this is actually two small adjacent rooms. Something I have never seen! When we said we did not want that, they gave us a large room and volunteered that it was 30 Euros cheaper but could not refund us!
The room we got was very disappointing for the price ($210) in that town. The pillows were very very flat. Despite booking, com listing "toiletries" all we got was 2 little plastic bottle of shower lotion. There was no hair dryer, no kleenex. Furthermore there was a large standing mirror that had one of its bottom corners broken and exposed. A clear hazard for kids or pets. Finally, the view was terrible: the disaffected train station and its run down buildings. Not their fault, but that should influence the price.

Large breakfast room nicely decorated.
Near train station and commerces.
Hot food for breakfast would have been appreciated.

The central location while quiet
All was great

The friendly staff went above and beyond to help us with a Tesla charging problem. We arrived with not much battery range left. They came up with a solution that enabled us to charge the car overnight, so that we could easily make it to the Supercharger in Metz. Secure, off street parking was a bonus. Breakfast was very good and the location excellent - easy walking distance to downtown and the Spa park.
Bad news, the hotel is right beside the train tracks at the Vittel station. Good news there were very few trains and with the windows shut, the noise was not disturbing.

Nice location, much space in the room and big comfortable beds. We stayed there one night for our trip to south of France. Didn’t have breakfast as we left early. Only disadvantage is not all staff speaks English and we had to park across the street. But furthermore super hospitable staff, comfortable beds and nicely decorated.

Hotel staff was just great : eager to help in all circumstances, did their best to make us comfortable despite pandemic restrictions and very friendly : big thumb up !
Facilities and room were clean, quiet and large enough for us two.
Swimming pool was great.
Bed was comfortable.
The hotel is central to the city, access is convenient, main attractions are at a 15mn-walk distance.
The bathroom fittings of our room were getting old. Nothing more to report.

Clean rooms, great breakfast, nice staff
A pity we had a room just opposite the train station since, during our stay, it was extremely hot and the rooms are without airco, the noise of the trains with an open window make it difficult to enjoy a good night’s rest.

Nice, renovated hotel. Nice , clean rooms. Plenty of parking space around the hotel. On walking distance ( 3 mins) of city center and Thermes. Quiet, safe area. Very friendly staff, good breakfast , no inside restaurant. Swimming pool is Nice.
