Very clean, friendly reception, nice breakfast area. Only drawback was we were missing our insulated picnic bag from our room when it was time to pack up and leave so had to get a plastic bag from the front desk to carry our cold things. Reported it to the front desk.

Conveniently close to the freeway, off a busy street. Friendly front desk, quick check in. The room was large and clean, with a small kitchenette. Comfortable bed. The sound proofing, both towards the outside and upstairs could have been better. Being located next to a busy road may cause trafic disturbanse, but l was not bothered by this. The breakfast was basic, but still an OK selection.

Very clean. Updated in 2019. Comfortable bed. We had a room closest to the street so it was a little loud but not unbearable. Breakfast area was basic but everything was fresh and clean. They had yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, fresh fruits, pancake maker, milk, OJ and apple juice. Staff was very friendly. Secure area. Nice patio to sit outside. Trader Joe’s is next store so that was convenient as 1 evening we just purchased a microwave dish for dinner. Spa tub in our room was clean and comfortable. Parking was convenient and free which was a plus!

It’s in the older part of town, it’s okay the water in the tub didn’t not drain properly. There’s a few fast food restaurants and it’s a not a far drive from pier or the airport. We stayed one night.

This is hands down one of the best experiences! We were able to check in early and get a free upgrade thanks to Christopher at the front desk. It was so helpful because we had to change really quick upon arrival for a baby shower. He was SO extremely accommodating and so so nice. The hotel room was wonderful! Super clean which was amazing and the bed was really comfortable. Felt safe. Good area, right next to a Trader Joe’s! The continental breakfast was also great! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Loved this property. Clean, quiet. One caveat, if you have mobility challenges, there is no elevator. This was not an issue for us. When you check in, the staff is happy to help carry bags upstairs if you need help. This was the perfect place for us and we'll return.

Property was very conveniently located for us to use as a base for day trips to: Santa Monica and Venice beaches (walked one day and bused another), West Malibu and Ventura (drove), the Getty Villa and Center (drove), and Hollywood Boulevarde (bus and metro train). We enjoyed experiencing this side of LA by various means. Surestay was clean, comfortable, provided sufficient breakfast options for our preferences, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Thank you.

SureStay was a great place to stay for our beach vacation. It’s not far from the Santa Monica Pier (It took less than 10 min to drive there) It’s very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and it had a decent breakfast.(Pancakes,bagels,toast,cereal,etc…) The only complaints and they aren’t huge were that the pillows were really hard and the water pressure was not great in the shower. We would definitely stay here again when going to Santa Monica and definitely recommend it to others.

Lovely little place. Our room was modern and clean and had a small kitchen. Great shower! Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. The pillows were a little lumpy, but thats my only complaint.
