Easy to find and plenty of parking, which created a good first impression. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the choice of pillows. Everything worked as it should. The quality of food in the evening was adequate but not impressive. More salad/vegetable options would have improved the selection. Breakfast was better. All round the stay was good, exactly as expected from this hotel chain.

Had a lovely night, very peaceful. Great customer service and full buffet breakfast from fruits to pancakes and full English. They also have a pool. Everything was clean.

Stayed there for a works Xmas party theres in there conference room. The staff at the party were excellent a special big thank you to Kayleigh and Johnny bar staff in the conference room xmas party they were great and helpful and a pleasure to have them serving us

Had an excellent stay. Room was lovely and large and very clean. In a very quiet park of the hotel so had some good nights sleep. Staff all very polite and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, good selection and very fresh.

Couldn't gain access to our room as key cards wouldn't work after I eventually found someone they printed a couple more then they didn't work. Then had to look for someone to let us in our room at 1.30 am not happy what so ever

From checking in to checking out our stay was not great! On check in we asked the lobby to store some food for us in the freezer and was immediately told no. However the next couple asked if they could and they were told yes. We asked them to heat up some food and expained that if they pierce the container we wouldn’t be able to eat it due to our religious belief. When the food arrived at 9pm to our room it was pierced. Our kids went to bed crying and hungry. No apology, no offer to bring some fruit just denial. The pool was dirty with a layer of green grime around the edges. The rooms were not clean, sink blocked Personally I would never stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant for what we needed it for. Great for exploring Kent and shops close by. Made to feel welcome by all members of staff especially breakfast kitcehn staff. Breakfast was great and room clean and decent size. Pool was good too. We were lucky enough to get guests of ghe day which was an added bonus.

We had a quick check-in with a friendly reception staff member. The pool was enjoyable for a swim, although we were disappointed that the Jacuzzi was not working. Can honestly say had the worst nights sleep ever. The bed was too soft, making it feel like you were being bounced around with every movement. Some deranged I can only image drunk idiot locked out of his room thought the best way in, would be to use brute force by attempting to kick the door in, whilst screaming let me in at the same time. There were also noisy drunk youths and screaming children running in the corridors throughout the night finally ended at 4.45, causing many interruptions in our sleep. Feeling tired in the morning, we hoped for a refreshing swim only to find the pool closed until 12.30 due to staff sickness, which was another letdown. We noticed signs around the hotel encouraging feedback for improvements if your stay is not at least a 7/10. However, with half of the pool facilities unusable and disturbances during the night, we would not recommend or stay at the Holiday Inn Rochester - Chatham again. On a positive note, the breakfast options were plentiful, and the staff members were friendly, earning the hotel a rating of 5/10 in our experience.

TV reception poor. No obvious USB charging points. Very friendly young person on reception desk . Some problem with my online booking but she dealt with it calmly .

We have family nearby so was a good base for us.. the room was good and the dining/ bar area looked newly refurbished and was really nice.. we used the pool which was a nice addition to our stay.. would definitely use the hotel again..

Nice hotel in a good location, lots of parking. Could do with some more staff at reception and on the bar at busy times, we were waiting a long time. But overall a good stay!

We were in a room for the disabled which they say we booked but can’t see how. It was ok except the large frosted glass window in the bathroom did not have a blind and we felt very exposed.

It’s free parking here, but make sure you register it before you checkin. The gym was also free, and I used the gym, the steam room, the sauna and the jacuzzi. There’s a swimming pool, but I’d not get to use it. I paid for breakfast, and it was ok, but the orange juice wasn’t very nice, it was weak, like diluted juice. The room was great, and with up to date furniture. There’s a fridge in the room, and a safe, if you want to store your valuables. The only thing was the fridge was so bright, as it had a glass door, so I covered the door with my dark t-shirt so I would sleep. Everything else was amazing

Overnight stay view was on main road side. Could hear ever car going past. Room was freezing on entering, had to turn heating on, on entering which wasn't expected in July! People running up and down corridors still at 3:30am. Used to rate Holiday Inn above Premier Inn and Travel Lodge, not anymore!

I was given a ground floor room at first which overlooked a dual carriageway and was extremely noisy with traffic but after speaking to reception was given a much quieter room at the rear of the property.
