We had to change rooms because there was bugs in the first one and also bags in the second one. We spent an little over and hour trying to kill the bugs in the second room.

Beds needs to be replaced. Bedding was worn out. Blanket in room had holes, edges had been cut off roughly with scissors. Bed spreads were "thread bare". Bathroom sink had no plug.

The room was disgusting. It smelled of animal urine badly. There was hair in the shower. Specs of god knows what on the walls in the bathroom. The floor was disgusting. There was a splatter of white stuff on the TV that was never cleaned off. The sheets were super rough and didn’t fit the beds. And kept coming off the mattress. And when the front desk was asked about any of these things they made excuses as to how they could not make anything better…… There WAS a tiny potpourri pouch hanging in the room to try and “mask” the pee smell. It didn’t help. The hairdryer also seemed to have been ripped out of the wall and they never cared to fill the holes. Disgusting, disappointing and I’ll be emailing about a refund on my pet fee: since MY pet isn’t the one who made that room smell like that. GROSS.

I love the area …so I’d like to stay again…. But no pool, tub, no room tub… no working TV. A bit smelly. Maybe compromise on the price if those things aren’t available that are in the listing. Ben more old be forgiven. When I try again I guess ll ask more questions.

Sink didn’t drain, toilet was loose, gum under table, no sheet on the bed, night lock on door wouldn’t lock. When I complained to manager, they said they’ll have to talk to housekeeping, no offer of any discount on the room. We were ready to go sleep in our car!

We stayed for 4 nights. The staff were all fantastic. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be staying again. No bedbugs and no cockroaches as other have said. Our room was clean and tidy when we arrived. The pool and hot tib both worked well while we were there. They have guest laundry options which was nice. Overall, it was a great stay for us.

I was very disappointed in a couple of things. There were five of us in a family suite. The bathroom was so tiny, that it was difficult to get in and out. With three children to bathe, it became quite tight to assist them. Also, the description of the room said there would be a pull-out sofa. We found a futon, which was not very comfortable. The breakfast left something to be desired. I don't tend to be one to complain, but with the cost of the room, I feel we should have had what was listed. I apologize for my negative complaints. The area is quiet, and safe.

The whole place had an odor that was overpowering of cleaner. Like they were trying to cover other smells with air freshener and cleaning products. Also what they were charging was way more than what is listed on the rate card in the rooms. $130 was the max price on the rate card. We were charged over $200 each night. The continental breakfast was a joke. We had to get breakfast elsewhere as the option were limited and what was available looked uneditable. The locks were not working well with the key cards, sometimes it took several swipes to open the doors. The bedding was old and worn out and the bed spread was the only blanket and was gross. I would never stay at this place or recommend it to anyone. It was disgusting. As a company promoting and helping sell rooms for these properties, Expedia should be doing an audit of what they offer. The pictures of our room looked nothing like what they show on-line.

Property was very central and easy to find. Staff was friendly and accommodating as I came in late. The room was not fancy and the facilities were somewhat dated - but you get what you pay for. Overall - a good budget motel in a beautiful part of the world.

Room was roomy and clean. Water pressure was not good. Bed was too soft and you could feel when your partner moved at all...it shook the whole bed. Breakfast was very basic. Would probably stay there again knowing the shortcomings.

The lady at the counter when we checked in, was rude! The hot tube was uncared for and only half full, the sana didnt work? It had bubble wrap stored in it so idk. Great place if it was kept up correctly.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. I had chosen the Nisswa Inn & Suites based on the low pricing despite the low review ratings. My room seemed to be newly decorated with everything clean and orderly. The TV and air conditioner worked as they should. The only down side was that nobody was able to get the waffle maker to work. Sticky mess every try. There were other things available to eat. The desk clerk was cheerful and helpful.

The hotel was very run down and dated. The beds were in poor condition - springy mattresses and hair on the sheets, some type of burn spot on the bathroom vanity, vending machine didn’t work, all around, not the best experience. We did however have great service from the staff member who checked us in was very friendly and kind. The room was affordable but for the condition of the rooms, should be way cheaper per night.

Room was fine. Check in was horrible waited an hour after check in time and room still wasn’t ready. Their solution was to shower and get ready for our party in the guest bathroom.

We asked if we could check in at three instead of four and were told yes if the room had been cleaned. When we arrived at three they said they were still working on it but I could tell no effort was even made to see if it was possibly ready. When we came back at four the room was still not ready and we had to change our plans. We were able to check in but couldn’t go into the room We returned at ten pm and did go to the room but I’m extremely disappointed that we couldn’t check in an hour early and we couldn’t even go to our room at four fifteen because it wasn’t ready yet!

The room was not clean! The carpet in the room was so gross dirty and sticky that it left our feet and socks black. The coffee pot was dirty, black tar coffee on the bottem from previous people. The breakfast had no protien, stale cereal, and the milk was in a pitcher that had a thick ring through the middle of spolied milk and on the bottom. The last day we were there there was a gas leak in the pool area that the girl at the desk said was because the water heater broke and has was leaking out. We left early because we didn't want to sleep in a hotel that had a gas leak. The girl that was restocking the breakfast walked around everyday in her socks.

I arrived late due to travel and it took about 10-15min for someone to let me in the front door. Stood out getting eaten alive by mosquitos. The sheets were dirty and stained and the bathroom was not that clean. I was expecting bugs due to the room condition. Yuck. Unfortunate, because it’s such a nice area. If they made some updates, they could up the price and get more tourist to stay there.

Owner was nice but motel needs to have some maintenance done . Handle in the shower was broken..the grounds need some upkeep...the ice machine was broken which is such a simple thing to remedy for the guests by the owner going out to buy some since it's supposed to be part of the amenities!
