Unfortunately when we booked the hotel we assumed it was reasonably close to the beach. However it was on the high end furthest point away we could get on PCH. Disappointed with location for what we wanted, not really a lot going on in the hotel and wifi just didnt work even though spent 30 mins on the phone with the IT dept. For us, it was a bad choice. Wont stay again as its too far from beach and quite a walk if you had kids.

check in was not great. khalid first told us that we had no reservation. then after calling someone he found it. he assigned us a room and we went down to the parking garage to get our things where he had come down to find us and let us know he had to change the room. so we had to go back to the lobby with our belongings to get new keys for a different room. there’s a qr code in the room to order food or drinks but it didn’t work so i called the front desk but there was no answer. i went down to the front desk and was told they do not have room service and you have to get things from the lobby. the room was very much smaller than i expected. but the bed was really nice.

The jetted tub was cracked on the inside very unsafe unsanitary terrible experience the hotel doesn’t smell all that great I would not recommend this hotel to any one it actually felt like a motel.

We requested a walk-in shower and not bathtub. The hotel got it backwards and would not accommodate the request when we got there. We checked in for about an hour and decided to go to another hotel. Hotel Hermosa refused to refund us the stay even though they failed to provide us a room with a walk-in shower. Very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel.

We were in town for a quick overnight. Hotel was within 5 miles of LAX and a couple blocks from Hermosa Beach. Great Location. The property reached out and offered a room upgrade for a real reasonable rate, we had to take it. Living room in the lower lever with the bed in the loft area, accessible by spiral staircase. It was a little tricky getting the baggage upstairs, but the views were worth it.

Needed to travel to Hermosa Beach last minute for a funeral. I was able to reserve a room at a fantastic rate and didn't know what to expect since I normally stay on the Strand. Hotel Hermosa was a pleasant surprise! Affordable, clean, convenient, friendly; everything you need. I will definitely stay here again for the value and comfort.

My wife and I are Senior Citizens. We rented the 1 bedroom loft suite, only to discover the bathroom was NOT connected to the bedroom. The bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs. Thus, in order to use the bathroom, one has to travel thru this curved staircase, resembling a human sized pretzel, downstairs to the bathroom. It made more sense to have the living room in the loft upstairs, and have the bedroom downstairs. Needless to say they charged me 300+ dollars for the first night's stay, even after Hotels.com pleaded with them to not do so. They were rude and totally unprofessional. We booked for five nights and were left scrambling to find another hotel.

One year anniversary with girlfriend. She was excited to use the indoor jacuzzi. Tub had chipped paint and exposed under material. Front desk man stated “tub works perfectly fine, maybe they will fix at later time.” I asked if there was another room perhaps available. He said “ you guys already got good discount booking from outside website.” I understand this is not a luxury hotel but the individual was mostly dismissive, not very helpful. We were on the first floor near the public bathrooms, lot of foot traffic, unpleasant odors. Walking to room, not entirely an enjoyable experience. Could tell place was remodeled, walls definitely not soundproof.

The pool and Jacuzzi were good but the position of the coffee maker, micro wave, and refrigerator were to hard to use. Also the AC sounded like a close dryer tumbling. Not close enough to the beach also.

The hotel was clean and in nice area. Rooms were big and quiet. The view was amazing and pretty, especially at night and in the morning seeing the sunrise and the sunset, nice balconies. Staff were friendly and tentative. The amenities were fair, not much to offer. The only problem with the hotel is for such a high price, there was no continental breakfast or free breakfast. The food was fair, but could tell microwaved. The pool was a little small. I’ve stayed at cheaper and got breakfast, but overall the stay was nice .

We stay here several times a year. It’s is comfortable, convenient to many attractions in the area, close to the beach. The pool and hot tub are excellent for relaxing after going to the beach, having a bike ride, or a day of work.

Very pleasant contact with hotel beforehand and during the stay. Nice looking artsy rooms, nice pool with hottub, i really enjoyed the stay a lot. That the parking is not included is weird. Almost Every guest has to have a car to get to the hotel and get around LA.

Hotel Hermosa has the best staff a person could ask for. This property gets my highest praise but it’s busy there and the staff handles it all well. Great lobby area extends to the terrace area. You’ll see how busy the staff is there.

The check in process was horrible. They will not check you in before 3pm. The room itself was very dark and also the decor was dark annd made it feel not inviting at all was depressing. I upgraded to have the loft suite and was horrible. Bedroom is upstairs and bathroom is downstairs with a spiral flimsy staircase. Not convenient at all.
