I was in Corinthia with my wife for five knights, It was a memorable holiday in Malta. All the friendly atmosphere began when our Taxi arrived at the hotel with help from one of the hotel staff open the Taxi door and took our hand luggage to the reception where we’re led to our room. The room was sparkling clean, balcony with amazing view, this Hotel is very beautiful with three amazing outdoor pools and unbelievable sea view, very efficient room services, professional staffs, beautiful indoor pool with sauna and spa, I love the buffet breakfast full of delicious varieties served with champagne, the hotel is surrounded with great restaurants to eat from. This 5* hotel is amazing I can’t ask for more. Thank you Guys I’ll come back very soon. Tokunbo Ogundana

Excellent service from all staff. Pools were exceptional- particularly liked the adult only pool. Lovely rooms with superb sea views . Very comfortable bed

Really wanted to love it but left ALOT to be expected. This is not a 5* property. People may have left it 5*s because they were happy, but it is a 3* standard hotel at best.
Beautiful reception which leaves you excited but then you get to the rooms which are seriously dated. Tired and well used bathroom. Marks on the walls. Scuffs on the furniture. Lack of sockets. Really needs a refurb.
A positive was the bed was huge and very comfy. Some staff were really helpful while others need more training unfortunatley. Also great selection of pools and available sun beds. Great to be able to jump into the sea from the hotel.
Location..... we really should have looked closer at where we were staying! In the middle of an 18-30s bar area! Think San Antonio, Magaluf etc. Really not what we had in mind for a "family friendly" hotel. The hotel even has gates it locks at night to stop people wandering in.
We had a great time because of who we were with, but the hotel needs to step up its game, especially when next door to much nicer places.

Everything about this property was outstanding. I got a junior suite and the room was amazing and the lounge access a very nice bonus. the pool, ocean access, restaurants and staff were all great. will definitely return.

Everything was dated which was a shame. Including the pool towels. Needs a complete refurb to get anywhere near a 5 star rating. 3 star at best.

An absolute gem! The hotel is situated with beautiful views (the sea view is worth it) and is located a short car ride from all parts of the island. Rooms are spacious, very comfortable and clean and the pools, access to the sea and facilities are wonderful. Although you are close to Paceville and it’s nightlife, you are never aware of noise which was great. We had a wonderful stay!

An excellent 6-night stay with one Dad and 2 kids. Service was excellent, pools and sea access lovely, decent breakfast buffet (oat milk coffees available!) and good restaurant options. Water sport company available right in from on the water. Decor is terribly out of date but we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway. Some kids activities would have been good but pool kept them busy. Access to an exec lounge a bonus with our suite and actually a decent option for some snacks and drinks during the day. Would definitely go again. There is some major construction going on next door but we didn’t notice it at all. I’d avoid a room facing it though if you can. Much better facing the sea!

It was a big hotel with a resident cat outside.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
Also it was very clean but the facility was old but well maintained

Great dining options (4 restaurants) ; plenty of sun loungers; choice of swimming pools and access to the sea; rooms a little dated but clean and comfortable. The area is going through more construction so in time the hotel may be overshadowed and the immediate area will become busier.

We loved our stay at the Corinthia. First and foremost the staff are pleasant, helpful and professional. We definitely felt looked after. The hotel has some lovely areas, in and out. I can see why other people say it's a bit tired and it could do with updating in some areas but it did not affect our stay. Our room was big, clean and airy. It was also quiet. The bed was super big and comfy. The food is lovely and we loved all the restaurant onsite. It's perfectly positioned for a dip in the sea (we chose to access this from the hotel and not St George Bay which can get crowded and dirty) and it was lovely. It is also great to walk into the main area of St Julian's. Everything is about a 15-25 min walk away. Great area for restaurants and bars. We loved our stay and would recommend.

Put a note in the comments of my booking and the team at the hotel did an amazing job! My parents loved their trip, they were greeted by a beautiful room. The food was incredible, facilities lovely and just a great atmosphere. Would recommend!

Big hotel but good, personal service. A but tired in places but facilities and amenities were good.
Great breakfast too.
Spa was surprisingly excellent (massage). Bit of a building site in the nearby area but didn't affect us it shouldn't put you off.
Great location for watersports from the bay, shops, restaurants, nightclubs all within a 10 minute walk.

We felt the overall stay at the hotel was great.
I feel that 2 areas can improve.
The gym could be so much better is it is mostly laid out on a long thin corridor which can be dangerous.
The outside experience for breakfast could also be better as felt a little basic when it should feel more magical.
However we loved the hotel and would be happy to stay again.

Really lovely hotel, perfect facilities and friendly staff. Great options for restaurants however the Henry’s restaurant was terrible and we ended up sending back the food and went to eat elsewhere. Poole had plenty of sun beds and the breakfast was great

Hotel is very tired in need of a refurbishment. Paint, tiling, carpet all very worn. Major construction going on all aroung the property. I would not stay here again. Not value for money.
Staff very helpful, food was good.
Dont get confused its nothing like the Corinthia London.

The property is beatifully located and the staff are very helpful. However, I noticed that there was no reaction to my complain about some issues concerning cleanliness of the room. This was disappointing albeit I still liked the property and the wonderful Malta in general.

Fantastic grounds but the hotel is in need of a refurb

It’s a massive hotel with few other sister hotels right next to it. The hotel itself is in need of renovations, the hallways, the surrounding areas are outdated, carpets worn off, some areas in the hotel covered ( presume for some lift work). The breakfast selection wasn’t great. Same things every day( we stayed 6 days) the eggs, omelettes were cold or just luke worm.
The bathroom had some mold on the tiles, some tiles chipped and glued back, the sink was stained yellow from the water.
The hotel had plenty of sun loungers, plenty space by the pools.Pools smelled very strongly of bleach, so the sea that’s near by was such a relief! The access to the sea is rocky, and deep, so not for children. The towels that guests need to collect from the spa ( to be used by the pool) were in shocking condition, most of them torn, in wholes from wear/tear, rough and in dirty smudges.
The food in the restaurants, especially Sole was excellent.
Overall, not a five star hotel, I would give 3.
There’s a lot of building work happening around the hotel, the roads are partially closed, so the location in general seems more like a construction site.
3.0
The views are extremely beautiful and the staff are very friendly. The exterior of the hotel as well as the pools are beautiful. The spa is nice. However, the hotel needs a lot of work. We booked the executive room. The room had a damp smell, the toilet was extremely difficult to flush, the air conditioner wasn’t working properly, and so sleeping at night was really hard! It was a let down for us considering we had moved from the Corinthia palace hotel. We moved because we wanted to be in st. Julians, however this was a let down.

The staff here were very friendly and accommodating. Made my children feel at home. Upgrade to a deluxe suite on the 5th floor with great view of the pools and the sea.
The buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The pool bar was nice. The food quantity and quality at Henry was very good.
Only down side is the walk into town is bit uphill but was not an issue for us or the kids. Construction work happening around the area, but did not affect our stay.
