I wasn't sure about this hotel but there weren't a lot of options that were pet friendly. It is a bit older and small but it was clean - service was exceptional. The breakfast was good as well. It was right across the street from the Marriot and half the price - also felt safe. I would definitely reccomend.

I have been on the road for 10 days, staying in a variety of hotels and houses, and this one was by far the most expensive, and unfortunately the least clean. The shower and sink were dirty, the floor was dirty, and the sheets were stained. The thing that bothered me the most, (and this may not affect everyone) was that the thick curtains are only decorative, and cannot be drawn closed. I am used to sleeping in near total darkness, and the city lights outside the windows kept me up most of the night, resulting in the worst sleep I've had on the trip. The only saving grace is that the staff was extremely friendly, so that was nice. Every other place I've been to on this trip has been wonderful, and I've rated them well, but my friend and i agreed this hotel was rather disappointing.

Management has not bothered to perform even the most basic updates to the property since easily the 1990s. Most notably, the mattress cover was shredded and worn as though it had not been replaced in 20 years. Bathroom has not seen any real maintenance or updates probably ever. Patchwork repairs to ceiling drywall and tile.

The cleanliness of the room was excellent. The sheets and towels were super clean. The building could use a facelift as there were some issues with the blinds. But overall the room was very clean. The staff were very, very polite and helpful. Unfortunately the surrounding area was a little sketchy, definitely not a safe area to walk alone.

The front desk staff made us feel like the property is unsafe by saying she needed our phone number in case she needed to contact us if something happened

Toilet did not flush good. Had to flush at least 2 times after every use. While going by the front desk overheard another guest asking for a plunger because his toilet wouldn't flush. Overall appearance of the property was run down. Would definitely not stay there again.

This hotel needs to be a new face lift. It felt like people here were staying as if it was an apartment rental. We saw flower pots from the outside on the window ledge. Shower rod was broken.

The woman who checked me in was not welcoming. She seemed upset about something. My room was very noisy: people talking in the hall and people walking in and out of the building night long. I was bitten by a bug or spider on my left arm. I do not want to stay there again.

First of all, I like to say. Check out is at 11 am and I went to do errands came back to my room at 10:30 and they are already cleaning my room. I told front desk - she’s like will did you take ur stuff with you. I said yes because I have insecurity issue take my belongings with me. She’s like will we assumed you left. While my husband semi truck was still parked on the property. Omg. Who do I speak too!? Seriously

Air conditioner was not cooling, making terrible noises and started to emit odors at about 2:00am. No sleep. Bathroom tile and toilet in horrible condition. Torn curtain.

The service was good, but the hotel is old and whatever cleaning solutions they use, do not smell very good. We had to keep opening the window to air out the room.

Several maintenance issues but important functions were good. I would stay again. Room was clean but had some rough areas. Beds were very good and place was clean. Pillows and towels were medium quality with some new mixed in. Hot water and pressure were very good. Breakfast did not include my favorites and was just ok. For the price difference, I will definitely stay again.

The carpet was disgusting!!! People above us were jumping and very noisy from 1-2:00. The bed was great and slept good. Breakfast was great!!

Property gets high ratings consistently; not sure why. Staff are great and breakfast wasn’t half bad- but the building is just a weird smelling fixer upper with lots of short cut repairs. An entire board fell off the bathroom counter facing. Had been held on with a few short nails. Decently clean place but I did not see the place that the ratings made me think I’d be staying at.

Great stay. Got in late and was so happy to have a tub for my three littles. Breakfast was decent; scrambled eggs, potatoes, a super great salsa, waffles, bagels, yogurt. Biggest downside was the wimpy AC. We were roasting in our room all night even with it on full blast. But our room was clean, staff was nice, coffee was good.
