Hotel was clean. Basic continental breakfast. Hot chocolate was availability 24/7. The pool didn't open till 10 am, useless for travelers. Excusive given was it needed to be clean. This is not a hotel people wouple stayvat fotr a few days, except to use the pool. Imagine telling your 4 year old child that the pool doesn't open till 10. Unacceptable. I won't be staying there again. They should be cleaning the pool at noon.

Not a good im from toronto and travelling six hours by car and i thought the check in is 4:00 oclock. Im asking a big favour to the front desk girls to give me room even 3:00 oclock because we have wedding at 4:00 to attend. Very disappointed and im so stressed to stay in that hotel.

Got in and previous guest forgot a bag of food in fridge. Some parts of the room was dirty with crumbs. Felt cleaning was done quickly without anyone verifying if room was ready. I can just feel that it just wasnt clean. It’s one of those things you know when have travelled many times. Was tired driving land from New Brunswick and hotel was very busy with plenty of guests. Our first to stay at Sandman. I told myself no more next time.

Myself and my Husband rented the executive suite with a view for our anniversary and the room seemed to not have been properly cleaned. There had been stains on every towel and wash cloth, stains on the bedding and when pulling back the sheet found money in the bed which led me to believe the sheets were not changed. The shower curtain had stains and dirty portions the bath mad seemed to have been used several times. This stay for what was to be one of the highest level rooms was not pleasing. We had booked for two nights and wanted to leave after night one but were refused a refund if we departed early or we could receive new sheets to make the bed ourselves as there was no housekeeping for the evening. Only one of the elevators had been in service so it was a bit of a wait for the elevator at times. Right outside of our door there was a bucket to catch water from the ceiling as it was leaving majority of the night. This definitely would not be a stay I would do again.

Good location to access the city. The room was not very clean. Found the bathroom vent grill was dirty, there was some bits of food on the floor, old pens and crayon in and around the bed. Room cleaning was substandard, they only made up one of the two beds on the day they came, the other day (Labour Day) no room cleaning happened. The garbage was not removed from the room at all throughout the stay. Housekeeping removed the face cloths from the room and never replaced them. The swimming pool changing facilities were poor, one of the two showers didn’t work, the other shower had no shower gel in the dispenser. The air conditioning in the room was incredibly noisy and inefficient, despite all the noise, the room remained stubbornly warm. The room tv only had cable channel only and a small number of English speaking channels amongst them for choice. Appreciate it’s Quebec but expected more choice. I expect the media to allow access to streaming services via the room but this wasn’t available. Wifi was easy to access and decent speed. Hotel parking was good and included in the room fee.

If you stay there more than a day prepare to clean your own room. It's unfortunate but they don't do room cleaning or give you towels, unless you call and ask multiple times. Very strange. Check in and out staff were very professional but staff in between was unprofessional.

Had a wonderful stay at the Sandman. I’ve stayed at other Sandman’s and have always had great experiences. This Sandman had wonderful staff interactions, exceptionally clean room , and great amenities. I drove to Montreal and there was ample parking. If you were to take transit, there is a bus and subway stop literally steps away. Would highly recommend Sandman to anyone going to Montreal.

This location is perfect for someone who wants to use transit around the Montreal area! The Metro is literally right outside the door. Made it so easy! The property is clean and the staff are very friendly! The property is slightly dated and could use an overhaul. My room was on the 17th floor and the ceiling was leaking in the hallway. The room itself was recently refurbished, although the bathroom was not. The bathroom really needs an upgrade! The pool is small and can only accommodate 10 people at a time for a 17 floor hotel. The pool fills up fast! Overall, it was a good stay and I would happily stay here again.
