The location was amazing. Walking distance to Waikiki beach, shopping, eating and tour pick ups. The room was comfortable and clean. The kitchenette was well supplied and perfect!!! The bed was comfotable, the couch was comfortable and the air conditioner worked well! We had a partial ocean view that was so beautiful! And a honolulu view too! The rooftop pool was clean and a beautiful view

Terrible service trying to interact with this property. I was charged by them even though I never set foot on this property. When I called I was told multiple different stories by different parties which passed blame instead of refunding me for a trip I did not make. Even hotels.com tried to help and the property refused.

The hotel was decent and clean. The furniture is outdated and the room is a bit small. The air-con can’t get the whole room cold, good thing we have a portable fan for my daughter. The staff are nice and helpful. It’s close to everything you need.

Horrible will never book here again. Place looks nothing like tbe pictures. First issue is when i got there the water wasnt running till 4pm. Then found out they only clwan every 3 days. I was there 48 days and the room only got cleaned one time, and they did a very terrible job. The air conditioning didn't work, so the room was mostly hot until the night time Which sucks, because it's summertime and it's very hot over there. They also charge $35 resort fee for every day even though they don't provide any services for you and they don't clean your room every day. They also charge an additional thirty five dollars for parking. They charged me a $100 deposit, saying, I left my room dirty. My room was not dirty. All my trash was picked up, placed in bags.Nothing was left behind and they still charged me

Great location, very smooth check in/out. My room was a bit noisy esp at night which I think is expected while in the middle of convenient downtown.

I loved my stay here, felt the price was reasonable for the location and was up on the 26th floor with a great view. Walked to dinner and drinks with live Hawaiian music. Was a great layover, and when my flight fell through d/t the “global outage”, I tacked on another night. Will be back! This was so easily walkable and close to where I wanted to be. Great little apartments with kitchenettes, mattresses were comfortable. All needs met with no complaints!

The balcony style can not be beat. The entire dining area of the room opens up just as pictured. The hotel is a bit older and parking is a bit expensive but it was in and out privileges and attached to the hotel which was very convenient. Loved the overall hotel and would stay again.

Really great hotel at a location very close to the beach and a quick Uber ride from most parts around Honolulu! It's <15 minutes to go to Diamond Head, which was really surprising to be able to do a quick hike!

The views are beautiful! A nice kitchenette with dishes, a nice kitchen table and pullout couch! It was absolutely wonderful of a stay! They will lend you beach/pool towels as well! Very safe and walkable. The international Market Place, Duke’s Market Place & Eatery, and Starbucks are all within a 5 minute walk and the beach is just as close! Loved the natural lighting and all!

Stayed in the hotel for two days, when we checked from the hotel, found our car was towed from its garage, even we registered our car when we checked in. Ask front desk and was told the garage doesn’t belong to the hotel. Well, we got garage key from the front desk when checking in and license plate was registered. Obviously this hotel let tow company to tow their customers’ car without doing any diligence to notify their customers. If you read thru hotel intro, it does mention hotel has garage for paid car park. Can anyone imagine that you park car in the hotel while staying there and car gets towed!

Amenities were greeat. Roof top pool was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. In walking distance to everything you need. Loved the wide opening patio doors, perfect kitchen supplies. Spacious studio unit. We were impressed and would definitely book again.

The vertical blinds MUST be replaced. They do not close at all and cannot block out the hot sun rays in the evening. Adding some black out type curtains or shade would be idea. In the morning, the sun comes up about 5:45AM and those blinds do not close properly, it was very hard to sleep in at all. The A/C is a window unit. We had a 1 bedroom, so the main room (living/dining/kitchen) all stayed cool, but the bedroom had no A/C so it was warmer- especially because of the blinds not closing as described. Everything else was great and we would stay here again! *Great views of the Waikiki beach/ocean if you get an ocean view room*

The hotel was clean and staff was awesome. On site parking for a fee is well worth it. A short walk to Waikiki Beach and International Market Place. We had a one bedroom suite with partial ocean view… it had a queen bed and pull out couch for our teen which was great for all. Great outdoor balcony with views and a place to have coffee and stretch. It is in the city, so hustle, bustle and construction noise is to be expected, but was fine for us being on the 22nd floor.

We loved this place! It was so conveniently located to everything. I think we made the best choice to be on Kuhio Avenue and the staff were so pleasant and friendly. Book it and go! You won’t regret it. Oh and the personal balcony was such a plus to have your own private area to eat and walk outside.

Two blocks from the Duke Statue at the beach, plenty of places to eat within two blocks of the hotel. We bought the 7 day pass with the Waikiki Trolley, City bus can be expensive, visited 3 malls, great prices at Longs Drugs and Walmart, ABC stores are convient, ate at the Cheesecake Factory, very good menu, The Cheeseburger Paradise was an expensive FLOP!, I liked the free daily newspaper, the kitchenette was great, the beds were too firm for us but the size of the room and the view was very good.

The location is amazing however the rooms are dated and some amount of road noise and the noise from the air conditioner is terrible.

the staff were so polite welcoming and friendly! Especially Auntie Christie Ann who took care of us at the front desk was so knowledgeable and super helpful. She had a smile for us every time. Thanks Auntie Christie Ann! I've been to Oahu/Waikiki several times but things have changed and she helped us with that. I loved that! Thank you Christie Ann! You're the best! The Pacific Monarch hotel is great! It's close to EVERYTHING. You're a block and 1/2 away from the beach. Take your pick on all the shopping. It;s SO close by! And, the Ala Moana Shopping mall is a quick bus ride away. Don't want to go to the beach? Pacific Monarch has a rooftop pool, hot tub and a sauna! along with a game area! Again, all of this is on the rooftop. The room we had an incredible view of the ocean and the mountains. The Pacific Monarch is a great choice to stay for you and your family. I'd definitely stay there again.

The location of the property is on a very busy and noisy road.
The windows beside the bed are louvered glass and do little to reduce the noise.
The box airconditioner blows directly on the bed and is very uncomfortable and creates extra noise when trying to sleep.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect for what we needed. Price was great. Room was spacious, clean and comfy. Location was great. On the edge of the hustle and bustle but still within 15 minutes of walking to everything. We had no issues with parking like I’ve seen other people have. The garage is narrow so be careful but just park within the lines and you’ll be fine. Pool and hot tub were both working and was great to have for a relaxing night. If I ever get back to Honolulu, I’d definitely consider this hotel again.
