This is one of our worst experiences ever!. We will Never ever go back to this hotel again. The first room that was provided smelled so bad that it began to exacerbate my asthma. There was black mold, scrapped paint on the ceiling, and walls. The bathroom is outdated we did not shower. There was rust on the vent, and areas around the door that was missing. We laid on top of the bedsheets in fear of what might be inside the bed. The man tried to accommodate us by showing us different rooms. However, he himself walked into certain rooms and said it smelled badly. Only reason we stayed was he kept saying he could not provide us with a refund and that we would have to talk to Hotels. He refused to provide any documentation saying we were leaving and unsatisfied. We reluctantly stayed there two nights. Only was in the hotel about 5hrs each day. We ensure we were outside more than inside the hotel. I put a club on my car in fear that it would stolen by the time I woke up. Indian folks run the hotel and they should be ashamed as the standard is lower than how than would stay if they were going on vacation themselves. It was clearly evident that they were embarrassed when questioned about the hotel. I would have rather stayed in the car then sleep in the hotel. Also found baby roaches! We kept everything closed.

Place is dirty. We checked out on time and asked if they could hold our bags for a couple hours. They charges us a fee!!! Never had that happen at a hotel and especially at a dump of a hotel. They just wanted to gouge us for as much money as possible.Don’t stay here.

Very poor experience from as soon as we walked in the door, management was having an argument to the side of the check in the area with another guest, which made us feel very uncomfortable, we checked into our room and then went out for lunch and when we came back, we couldn’t get into our room as a key card wouldn’t work and it took about 30 minutes to resolve

One of the dirtiest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Cobwebs on the ceiling, dark stains on the floor, rotting wood in the bathroom, cracked porcelain. The staff checking us in were perfectly nice, but the hotel is just in terrible condition. The immediate surrounding area was fairly sketchy, although there was 24/7 security and the clerks appeared to be behind bullet-proof glass...the room did have a fridge and a microwave.

It was very disgusting. Hair in tub, stains on bed sheets and pillows. Non smoking but smelt of marijuana and cigarettes. No shuttle like other hotels around the area to the airport. Very sketch area and people. Would not recommend to my worst my emeny. Wife and son got rashes, and we stayed literally for our layover which was the same day. They probably got bed bugs too. This place is worse then a redroof inn.

The location of the property was not easy to find. Property is old and can use some renovation. The restaurant however service pretty good food.

The hotel was in a questionable location, but near the airport, so I guess that was a pro. It seemed rundown and when we walked to our room, the second floor hall at one point smelled distinctly like vomit. Also, the website description said it had an airport shuttle, but when we called and asked, they said they didn’t. We heard another guest asking about this too when we checked in. The room was ok, meaning it at least had a bed and decent AC, but I would likely not stay there in the future. Given that we had a canceled flight during the worst day to travel this summer, this hotel at least gave us a cheap, unexpected place to stay.

This wasn’t what we expected from the photos. Above all it felt very unsafe. We were looking for a safe place to stay before a trip and this was not it. Our room was filthy. There were stains on the floor, the walls and the bed. The carpet was literally sticky. The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom floor and tub creaked loudly when you stepped on it which wasn’t great for waking others up at night. The walls seemed paper thin. Incredibly disappointing stay. Do not book this place.

Felt uncomfortable the moment we pulled in. Strange people hanging out in the parking lot. Worried all night that my car and trailer was going to get broken into. It was hard to get to from the highway and it was down a dirt road with minimal signs. We missed it the first time.

Not sure if it was chemicals I was smelling or not but was hard to breathe in the room even with the windows open.

This is the worst hotel I have ever seen. Scary location near a car impound lot, with poor lighting outside. Condom boxes and wrappers in the floor of steps, smells of weed and other drugs and the door to room not properly latch. Room smelled musty and had mold on everything. Me and my family went in the room locked door just to call and get another room at a Marriott 30 minutes away. My kids and wife were scared and I told front desk how bad and left. Had to call Uber and stood outside until picked up.

The interior walls in the hallway were rotting and falling apart near the window where I’m sure water was leaking in. I would rather sleep on a park bench than come back to this hotel.

There is no shuttle from the airport to the hotel. I was forced to take an unexpected taxi and was charged $50 one way thus turning this inexpensive room into a much more expensive one. And I still need to make arrangements to get to the airport in the morning. The carpet in the hallway is filthy although the room is better. I could have spent this amount of money at a nicer hotel with a convenient ride to the airport. Significantly, there was no warning on the website that I would encounter this expensive challenge.

I thought that I would come to a location that was affordable and clean including with an on-site restaurant. Regrettably, Howard Johnson at Newark gave false advertisement about their amenities. This location is partly a homeless shelter.
