Very loud rooms and adjoining rooms partied late into evening (2am). No temperature controls per room - very hot and uncomfortable.
1.5 / 5.0
1st room had a plugged toilet, then moved to a different one (not the 2 Queen that I paid for), the king room had a horribly old soft bed which hurt my back and hips, the cheap foam pillows hurt my neck, then there were small bugs flying around.
Restaurant food and drinks were good.
Staff were friendly and polite.

The bar double charged our room for drinks and the room they gave us was horribly loud. Beside the elevator and across from house keeping, their own staff were the loudest early in the mornings

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly and the beds were so comfy. My only complaint was that there was what looked to be black mold in the shower. It was such a beautiful property with everything we needed and wanted.

Friendly service and quiet hotel

The hotel was beautiful, but there was an additional "amenities" charge added to our invoice when we checked out. They said it was for items such as coffee and toiletries etc. Seems a bit odd to me. And not very honest.

and dated. The carpet in our room was old and had folds in it where you could easily trip. The veneer on the table tops was worn off, and the tub was gross...wasn't sure if it was dirt or old porcelain. The elevator was ancient. It snapped and banged, and was FAR FROM SMOOTH. It was actually kind of scary, and I used to be a rock climber!! Outdoor fireplace/hotub and proximity to golf course was the only nice touch. The young girl (early 20's) working the front desk when we checked in, SHOULD NIT BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICES. I'm a friendly Canuck, and try to make small conversation, but all she did was stare into here computer. The morning checkout lady was nicer, and at least sympathetic. But for 200 US a night, you don't get much anymore. Covid #$%*ed everything. The best thing about the place, was the free shuttle and nice driver...young darks haired lad....forgot name.

Very nice stay. Only gripe was the train that passed by in middle of night and early morning (complete with horn). Also, prefer an a la carte option for breakfast (don’t want all you can eat for $18 as only choice).

Very nice accomadations, older property but well maintained and very friendly staff!

Nice, quiet with beautiful views over the golf courses

My comments may seem minor to some, but this hotel is trying to pass itself off as grand. There was mold in the shower area. Drywall and paint needed to be repaired in the bathroom. No key was needed for the back entry door because it didn't completely close (until my husband put some muscle into). We were on the main floor, and there were heavy footsteps above us most of the night, along with some big thuds. Breakfast wasn't included in our room rate. Not a problem, we were willing to pay for a nice buffet breakfast ($18 each), but the breakfast offered wasn't any better than the other hotels we stayed at on this trip and they were included in the rate.

Beautiful property, well maintained. Staff is very friendly. My room was on the third floor with the golf/nordic view. Clean room with coffee maker and fridge. Power outlet was far from the bed but I always travel with a power strip and 6 ft charging cable for my phone so it was no big deal. There is a train that goes by every few hours. You don’t hear the train but you definitely hear the train whistle. There was an onsite restaurant with great food. They have a breakfast buffet for $18 which I thought was a little pricey so I skipped it. They also provide airport and downtown transport from 4am to 2am. Make sure you call to get on their schedule.

Grouse Mountain Lodge is a gem. We arrived on a rainy day ahead of our bike trip and they offered us shuttle to downtown for shopping and restaurants. Loved the sauna and hot tub and wonderful staff.

Property and common areas were very nice. Rooms were plain and tired.

Lovely golf course lodge. Beautiful atrium with seating and a fire place to hang out. Many fires outside to sit by in the evening. Large and lovely hot tub outside, sauna and pool inside. Rooms are simple hotel rooms but large and clean. We had a great time and would love to come back!

Rooms are quite outdated and for the price, I had hoped for something a little nicer. The area is beautiful and the grounds were well kept

My husband and I stayed a couple nights here before and after a hiking tour to Glacier. The staff at desk and dining room were courteous and helpful. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from a dropoff and pickup spot in the downtown which is about a mile away or if weather is nice, there are sidewalks to walk to shops and restaurants. The patio off the lobby overlooks the golf course with benefit of gas firepits around seating area. There is a small indoor pool and well sized hot tub, and fitness room that are all well maintained. The breakfast buffet for the price wasn’t the most gourmet spread, (but better than a continental breakfast with hot eggs, etc). Coffee and cold water offered in lobby for guests. The rooms were a little dated with functional but somewhat noisy external AC/heat unit but we had comfortable beds, and 2 sinks with separate bathroom vanities. We used the coin laundry W/D which had laundry soap provided. We reserved the $23 pp airport shuttle to Kalispell. Convenient and on time. Overall, a nice experience and would stay again

Overall 3 star. It was ok - but felt like it needed some cleaning and other work. Was not as nice as photos suggested.

The property shows its age and was nice but not up to the price tag for staying here. Everyone was nice but had to request housekeeping and then they didn’t show up. It is very convenient to downtown Whitefish and about 30 minutes from Glacier National Park. The rooms needed updating, the furniture was worn and the beds not very comfortable for the price. The food was good but seemed a bit overpriced to me. The dining room is very nice. Overall it was nice but not what I am used to for this price.

The entrance and check in area was nice. But as I walked to my room, I noticed the hallway really needed to be vacuumed. Then in my bathroom there was mold around the bathtub. The bed was very stiff. Then i discovered a problem with the outside door closest to my room did not work with my key. Twice I had to get my key rekeyed, after walking around to the front in the dark.
