Very tired hotel, bathroom grubby. Room carpet had a huge iron burn. Breakfast poor, flies round everything. Terrible coffee from a machine. Corridors smelly.

It’s good for the price. Location is quite convenient.
3.9
This hotel is really outdated. Carpet and walls had stains. Bed wasn’t comfortable.
Staff was friendly and rooms are air conditioned.

Nice hotel.

Best for price , breakfast was excellent

Location is centric and convenient but hotel is old and really needs to get some work done. Rooms are very dark and carpet looks dirty. The AC never worked and the bathroom switch light never worked during our stay. Breakfast was OK but needs improvement and more variety. This hotel is good for a one night stay but it’s not the most comfortable.

The front desk host was very nice. the lobby has filtered water dispenser. The hotel room is spacious, come with a mini fridge, but no towel warmer.

Very convenient location and clean comfortable hotel. Good service.

This was a great property to stay and get to everything in Strasbourg center. So close to so many things.
3.9
The people at the front desk were very helpful.
3.9
The hotel was clean, walkable, and safe. We enjoyed our stay

The hotel is centrally located and convenient. Although updated, the hotel feels more like a 3.5 as some of the furnishings and decor is lower quality, but comfortable.

There was no parking- I was told the lot was full and to go find space in the town. I missed my first appointment. The beds had non-breathable mattress covers rendering the bedsheets hot and sticky. The paper cups for water shouted at us this was a budget hotel. The gel bottles attached to the wall had notes of the budget ibis hotel. Except the beds at the ibis are better.

Nice Hotel..perfect position..friendly staff,,Great City

It would benefit from a lift down to the car park, the stairs are hazardous. The breakfast is far too expensive for what is on offer and wasn’t kept topped up when items ran out. The views from the breakfast room over the city rooftops are lovely. A good hotel centrally positioned for all city facilities. However the air conditioning didn’t work although we reported it and it was advertised as being available.

Awful building very loud next to the elevator. was impossible to sleep. the chair provided (a puff) is not appropriate for work. never again

The locations was amazing but the hotel room seemed a little bit older. For visiting the Christmas markets it’s it’s a great value.

My hubby and I made an impromptu trip to Strasbourg and decided to stay overnight at the last minute. The hotel was very accomodating and worth the rest stop. It was located only 4 minutes walking distance from the city center which is where we had to park. Trust me, you'll want to find parking immediately and walk for everything. Traffic is horrible due to pedestrians so you're better off walking. Bigger vehicles will have issues on the narrow roads and low level parking garages. The hotel is worth it if you decide on a day trip, even long term as it is close to everything. And the beds are comfy! They even had multiple television channels in English, Spanish, Chinese and Korean, to include news channels. They offer a variety of breakfast options. We chose the buffet. It's a typical breakfast buffet with eggs, sausage, pancakes, luncheon meats, pastries, juices and coffee. The coffee is excellent. We will stay here again when we decide to go back.

Average hotel, shame you only get 1 bottle of water in your room per stay regardless of the amount of nights your staying. Did not refresh coffee facilities daily but reception were happy to provide when requested.
Lovely receptionist - friendly and welcoming.
Central to the city and easy to get to. Not too far from the cathedral based on walking distance. No noise in the rooms so peaceful to relax at night.

Will never book this hotel again. Inflexible and unable to serve

We did not receiver any infomation that the access to the hotel will ne closed for the cars during christmas market. We had to park out of the hotel, not to far, but due we did not know it before it was really inconvenient.

The property is tired and faded. There was a smell everywhere, a mixture of drains and cheap room spray. The room was way too hot, and no amount of fiddling with the aircon made any difference. The shower was handheld and I had to stand on the inner edge of the shower tray for the water to reach me. There was a fridge but nothing was in it apart from two free bottles of water, no minibar items. IWe were amazed that the hotel could be classed as four star, as I've stayed in three star ones with far better facilities.
3.9
Great location and good breakfast. Little pricey for a basic room. Carpet was dirty and we had problems with the key lock system.
3.9
Good location. Nice breakfast. Good room with plenty of space.

Nice standard of hotel in a very good location. Very close to many local attractions and just a couple of minutes stroll to the tram stop. Wifi was very patchy. Sometimes, i got a full signal, other times, none. This made working somewhat sporadic in the room. If you don't need to work, maybe not a problem. The room was listed as having air-conditioning and this didn't work. On departure, i reported to the reception desk, whereupon the lady advised me that "it isn't summer yet"
I commented that it has been 24 degrees on the day i stayed and that the idea of having individual room air conditioning is that each room occupier can choose to have the temperature as they like it rather than to have the hotel manager decode if it is summer or not! She said "i know, but i'm sorry, that is how it is"
So....any managers of this hotel or Mercure Group....this is how it is from my side. No further bookings with your group for me or any of my employees until i receive assurance that you will not advertise (and charge accordingly) for air-conditioning when you do not provide this facility. Everyone knows this is a cost cutting measure that is ripping off customers. If people are put off booking your hotel(s) as a consequence of my review than you may learn to start treating customers with respect. We all have choices!

Great location in the center of town. Very conveniently located near the Christmas markets.

Very nice, sleek hotel located near university. Underground parking available. Room was sml but very clean and comfortable. Great bar in sister hot next door. Was a little tricky to find however, and traffic was fierce.
3.9
Helpful staff and located in a great position for city centre
3.9
Centrally located and very convenient as the tram stop was literally 2 mins away by foot! The hotel room is quite dated - and quite dark, and the facilities were quite basic. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
3.9
Everything was great, walking distance from the hotel to most must see places, the room and the breakfast was lovely.

Beautiful old town and cathedral. Worth visiting. Hotel very near center.

We got to the hotel after 9 pm and there was one person at the front desk to check us in.. She asked for my credit card, but didn't tell me what she needed for. When I questioned her she told me she didn't speak English.. Funny the next day she was there she spoke perfect English and probably because her colleague was next to her... This woman is obnoxious & gives poor customer service! She typically works the evening shift.. I didn't get her name since her hair always seem to cover the name tag. It seem I only had problems with her, but the other staff members were nice and professional especially the gentlemen and the lady with the curly hair and glasses.
The hotel was just ok. I stayed in room 301 (close to the elevator) and it was dirty.. Though they say daily housekeeping I don't believe they change the sheets daily or do they vaccum.. The carpet needs shampooing.. In the early morning the front lobby smells like poop and also the parking garage.. I believe this building has a bad sewer system.
At check out I was charged for making out going calls per minute so beware the hotel will not tell you this ahead of time.. I felt taken advantage of since part of their job is to inform their customers.
Parking parking is unbearable. The parking garage is connected to the hotel and only limited space (maybe 10 space or less). Take your money elsewhere don't stay at this nasty hotel.
For all my Americans stay at a U.S chain hotel...

Steps from Place Stanislas, the hotel offers the opportunity to explore and enjoy the city. Overall good hotel. Rooms are somehow smaller than average. Covered parking garage on premises is very convenient.
3.9
Hotel is centrally located and good for walking around Strasbourg and has a comfortable bed. The hotel staff are pleasant but at 11:59am we got a call saying our checkout was at noon (strange as the place wasn't booked out and it is not tourist season). Anyway, we knew the checkout time was noon and we were making our way down. The hotel really has nothing to offer. The shower was a bit gross (the bottom is "white" but you could see it was not clean) and felt like you needed to wear flip-flops in there. The hotel isn't cheap either so just spend the extra $40 a night and stay at the hotel next door (has a bar, restaurant, sauna).
3.9
This hotel is an ideal place to stay especially for a short stay. It is ideally situated and is a short walk to many sites in the city - the central train station, shops, and the Notre Dame Cathedral. The room is spacious and comfortable and their staff is helpful and friendly.
