A bit old everything, needs fressing up

Cheap stay, but cheap value. Very hard matress where every spring could be felt (and heard). Shower was unable to get warm no matter what temperature setting was tried. Best value was the breakfast buffet but let down by overhearing other patrons complaining about their stays.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in
2.8
I fully appreciate this is also an airport hotel but the parking is incredibly limited

The room was clean and had all the usual bits of tea & coffee and soaps but otherwise very basic - no relaxing chair in the room to watch tv although plenty of room. However if you're looking for a cheap overnight before catching a flight, this would be perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Checkin took a little while, pool steam hot tub all good. Room ok, very tired looking. Window did not close properly, some noise and draughty. Bathroom door chipping and ceiling peeling. Pillows uncomfortable.

Super quick (10 minute) trip to Gatwick, which was ideal for my layover evening between international flights. The hotel was a big out of date and dark, but front desk staff was SO kind and helped me book a taxi easily for the next morning. Would stay again.

The signal is very poor, and you have to pay to used the WiFi so wrong, i paid for a double bed and was giving two singles.

Lovely short stay before we went to Gatwick

Water was so hot it would have burned someone if they weren’t careful. Every last thing is charged.
2.8
Extremely slow check in. No space in the car park. Room very loud with the bar nearby. Taps on the bath don’t work properly, only hot works.

Our shower was broken- staff were so friendly and immediately moved us to a new room. Dinner and breakfast buffets were affordable and delicious. Beautiful garden area to unwind at the end of the day. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time! A little outdated but clean comfy room and fab breakfast!

This place looks tired, and in need of a big renovation.
The corridors smelt musty.
The room was grubby
Bathroom was tired
Shower did not work
Paid for breakfast, but a little choice of barely warm food.

Very basic, ideal for a short stay

Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, however the hotel needs a complete refurb. Communal areas need a total revamp. Lots of old, dark furniture. The room was dark and dingy and stank of stale cigarettes and weed. One of the towels had a brown stain on. It made the Travelodge look like Cinderella's castle! Not happy with the cleanliness at all but it was somewhere to lay my head for the night.

Our stay was absolutely terrible. The room was tiny and the bed like a miniature double and was about 2/3s of a queen size crammed into the smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen. There was loud dance music on in our corridor until 4:30am meaning we got no sleep. We called reception the first time and was told security had been out and not heard anything which was an impossibility. The 2nd time the security guard knocked on the persons door to tell them he was calling the police if it carried on then whilst talking to him knocked on our door (it was 4am) to inform us he’d spoken to him! The music never went off just got turned down but we could still hear it. Honestly the worse nights stay we’ve ever had anywhere. The car park is rented out to people going away so there is hardly any space to park & it’s absolutely packed. To top it all the toilet leaked out onto the bathroom floor every time you flushed it and I think they must have sacked the maintenance team as the hotel itself was very tired.

Checkin very slow
Parking not organised
No labels on areas to indicate which number were there exiting lift
The much advertised pool closed for children at 5 on a summer weekend and at 6 anyway
Ridiculous
Balcony was 4 inches wide and not accessible
Water was hot and plentiful
Towels were good
Beds comfortable
Pillows firm
WIFI was 7 a day per person
Extortionate
Hotel badly signposted from M23
Sign obscured

For a three-star hotel, it's good. I arrived at 4:30 AM and did not get a good impression from the night staff, but the day staff were very friendly. The building is old, and the rooms are not great. The hotel has a pool, sauna, and other facilities. Overall, considering the price and if you are stuck at the airport and need a place to stay for the night, it's a good choice.

We liked everything good food great price friendly staff great facility’s and found the hotel very clean good hotel to book

Good points - Room was clean, good shower over bath and comfortable bed. Big car park and within easy reach of Gatwick.
Bad points - Says ‘Free WiFi’ when you book. It’s not. What it should say is ‘Free WiFi in PUBLIC AREAS ONLY’ there is NO WiFi in the room unless you pay for it and it’s £7 for 24 hours per device.
Shaver charger in bathroom broken.
Telephone so crackly reception can’t hear you.
Bedside lamp didn’t work.
Couldn’t turn lights on or off from bed.
Whilst showering in the morning the room smoke detector went off.
Walls are so thin I heard snoring from one side and a conversation from the other.
Single glazed window did nothing to cover the noise from the M23.
None of the room doors fit too well. I had to slam mine to shut properly as did several other rooms on my floor.
All that said it was cheap at £65 for the night, but you get what you pay for!

It was a very nice place, we got late for breakfast one morning and they still let us take breakfasts and and more a plate full of breads they are kind.

As soon as I sat on the bed the metal springs crunched and sprang to the top of the mattress so you could feel each spring. Couldn't sleep on it so we changed rooms. Wasn't happy when we found out that the 'soa' facilities were an extra cost, as was a towel. We're told that it was last entry at 6pm as they closed at 7pm, so we couldn't use it. So the next day we went to see the spa, there was a swimming pool but the jacuzzi was out of action and there was a tiny sauna in the changing rooms. We left the craft show at early 4pm so we could use the spa. But when we asked to go in, we were told it was already closed!! Really annoyed at the way we were dealt with by the manager who basically couldn't care less about customer relations! Only ONE member of staff smiled during our 2 night stay! Thoroughly miserable place

The corridors on the groundfloor leading to rooms 1100 etc absolutely stinknof cigarette smoke.
This is because the staff use an area accessed by the fire door as a smoking area despite numerous signs stating to the contrary.
Staff will quite happily stand outside hotel room windows puffing their cancer sticks until tild not to by guests.
They will then knock in guests doors asking whyvthey have taken a photograph... "you cant take photo of me" (they KNOW they are doing wrong).

Hmm.. first the good points. It’s relatively close to Gatwick airport I believe. The shower was powerful.
Bad Points.
Car Parks doubles as a Hotel along Stay so is packed. Rooms are dated, sparse, dirty and a family room has a 24” TV, Poor WiFi and doors/windows that don’t open more than 3“.
Pure chaos in the evening with lots of noise, drunks, music etc. I saw security having to escort kids off the property who had decided to invade it at night.
2.8
Some renovations need to be done in room
2.8
Too awful for words. On par with Del Boy’s stay at the Villa Bella in Margate.
We walked out within 20 minutes of checking in.
2.8
Very comfortable stay and pleasant service
2.8
Room tired and dated, no light bulb in lamp and lampshade battered. Bed uncomfortable. Service at night, very slow. Breakfast terrible quality sausages. Overall breakfast poor and very overpriced, I have had better in hospital restaurant.
2.8
Great location for Gatwick. Late check in was helpful. Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the pool at the spa. Breakfast was good. Comfortable. Staff good. Finishes /decor are a little dated but actually enjoyed the vibe from it. Would go back.
2.8
Average room but very convenient to Gatwick

I booked this hotel via the website and couldn't contact the hotel to find out how to check in. It was too dangerous for me to travel there at 1am without knowing if I'd even be able to check in when there as the lines were disabled overnight.
They should not allow bookings at midnight due to emeergencies for vulnerable passengers if there is no available support/advice line.
I ended up having to spend £100 on an uber to go elsewhere for my safety, and I couldn't contact the hotel to get my money back.

The Europa hotel is desperately in need of refurbishment. The bedrooms are in a poor state
2.8
Lovely carvery, clean & friendly staff

A bit dated A/C does not work had to go too reception for fan and open windows not good as back of hotel the A23 or M22 runs by so noisy all night charge of $4 too use gym or 15 for 5 day pass good gym and pool. Arrived too find 2 coach load of foreign children running around hotel till late

Debbie who check us in was the nicest person. She made me want to come back to this hotel. She is very welcoming and kind also patient
2.8
Dated rooms in need of serious upgrades. Breakfast was shocking. Dirty floors from the previous night. Covered in food. Receptionist was rude.

I am a great fan of Harry Potter, now I experienced how he felt with the cupboard under the stairs.
The room is 110 euros. 12 square meters of full blown "days gone by". I do love my wife, don't get me wrong, but together in a 110cm bed in cozy. But then again...
Well, it was convenient that we could park on site. But I would not book this hotel. Just don't, let us agree to that OK?
2.8
really disappointing. from parking to check in to price and quality of wine by the glass and the dirty room, it was bad in all respects. the reception staff were friendly amd polite.
