I stayed at this hotel over the Thanksgiving holiday with my wife and my one (1) year old daughter. Let's start by saying this: as a person who grew up in Waco, TX, I know what areas to stay away from and what areas to venture into. With that said, I'm going to provide my honest opinion on this hotel. Staff: My initial experience wasn't the best. I contacted between forty-five and an hour before check-in to ask if we could arrive early so that we could settle down for a little before leaving for my nephew's birthday celebration. The front desk guy spoke in a very low voice that I couldn't hear and was semi-rudely brief with me. A young woman who was really polite and sweet was there when I was supposed to check in, though, and she even helped me understand that I had booked a smoking room by mistake and was able to change it for me. Cleanliness: The bedding, sink, bathtub, and beds were all immaculate. Only the floor, which appeared to have not been swept or mopped in months, wasn't. Area: It is situated in a cluster with Starbucks, Walmart, and other establishments; the proximity to the highway gave it a semi-dreadful reputation. We also had the "strange" interaction with this random guy in the hotel parking lot who was riding a bike, screaming at the top of his lungs, and shaving. When I looked at my wife, she appeared rather alarmed. Later, the owner phoned the police and apologized.

Only downside was poor breakfast selection. Sliced bread only no muffins bagels od english muffins also no fruit.

Good stay. Comfortable. Quiet. Nice bed though a bit high. Alittle hard as a senior with bad knees to get on. BUT I loved the higher toilet seat as eaduer to get on and off of. I wish all motels had them! Polite respectful Staff and ease of check in were a nice bonus for such a great price.

The room was ok but the floor was filthy. I couldn’t go barefoot or my feet would be black. Couldn’t really tell how dirty it was unless you were barefoot. There’s no way that floor has been mopped/washed for a long time.

There was a person knocking and making noises at 1:45 am. The person knocking on our door about 5 times and trying to open it. It was the longest night at a hotel because were so scared.

There were ants in the first room, in the bed and bathroom. Asked for a second room and there were a couple here or there but when we woke up, our suitcases and food was covered in them.

Stayed here because was close to Waco. Overall, not too bad. Lots of crickets in the area and the room. Breakfast had waffles, cereal juice, toast and coffee.

Breakfast tables were dirty as well as the food area; the person at the desk should have been cleaning these areas every 10 or 15 minutes. Trash inside the breakfast area was full; emptied every few days instead of after every breakfast? The outside trash can was overflowing; to have a refrigerator without a freezer is ridiculous; I asked the front desk to put into their freezer my four small ice packs for me; I was told they didn’t have a freezer. Overall, I will pay the extra money and stay at clean and helpful hotels. This one was a loser.

Charged me extra and kept deposit due to the smell of my perfume and said that means I smoke cigarettes and the perfume covers the smell. I said to the guy "How tf is that fair?" So messed up. I don't even smoke. -_-

We checked in later in the night and it took a long time for someone to come to the window to check us in. Also tried to purchase water and it was cash only. Interstate was very loud and there were a lot of sketchy, noisy people hanging out in the hallways.

Clean room. We killed 3 crickets though. They were all over outside. I think it was just that time of the year for them. Breakfast was basic but did the job. Ok place for the price.

We ended up trapping 5 live crickets that were coming out of the woodwork. 1/4 inch gap in the door didn't help as it couldn't seal all the way. The vanity was disgusting as the was a big fake used eyelash sitting near the sink. Opposite side of the building filled with contractor employees hanging out in the parking lot , balcony and stairs consuming a large amount of beer. Not good!
