It was quiet, relaxing, beautiful and worth every penny!

We drove up in our RV Van and they were more than accommodating to park it for us to where we could still get access to it.
From the moment that we arrived, to the time we left, every staff member was extremely nice/helpful.
we used your dog sitting services, and our doggie seemed tired out when we picked him up, which is great.
We ate at the fondue restaurant and our server - Melanie, I believe-was a lot of fun and helpful with hiking suggestions etc.
The view from our room was outstanding.
Will be back again some day.

Great concierge service by Amir and great experience with Fan during e bike tour. Front desk staff was sub par and Lakeview restaurant service was terrible. The worst dining experience of our trip

We recently stayed at the Fairmount Chateau which is in a beautiful location, but felt completely overcharged. We spent four nights in a lake view room on the 8th floor, paying an exorbitant $1200 USD per night, and the experience didn't come close to meeting our expectations.
The room was tiny, stuffed with oversized, worn furniture, and poorly designed. The bathroom was shockingly small, with split-hinged doors that made it feel more like an old saloon than a luxury hotel. The tub was peeling, baseboards were chipped and dirty, and the plastic toilet seat was scratched beyond the point where it should be replaced. There was almost no counter space, and two people couldn't use the bathroom without bumping into each other.
To make matters worse, construction from 8 AM to 6 PM ruined the view and added noise, making the stay even more disappointing. While the staff was great, the room was nowhere near worth the $1200 price tag. The hotel management should be embarrassed by the condition of room 833.

Honeymoon trip so magical start to finish thanks

Too much of hype given for this hotel which is totally not worth the money I spent on it. Room is not impressive and the view of the lake was blocked by crane. So what’s the use if we getting a lake view room and charged extra for it and get a crane obstructing the view. Highly not recommended not to stay here as the lodges in Lake Louise area have better serene accommodations.

Our stay here was incredible. Staff supplied top notch service throughout. The property is amazing. Room was very comfortable, and the food options are wide ranging so that there is something for everyone

Our room had a great view of the lake and the mountain.
The walking trail around the lake was excellent.
The only issue I had was the bathroom not available to be used, immediately after I checked out. I understand that only guests are allowed to use the bathrooms for security reasons. I was eventually able to use it by borrowing a card key from the front desk and the staff was very understanding and helpful. The person at the bell hop desk was not as friendly.
The food was excellent at the 2 different restaurants - Louiza and Alpine and the staff was great.
Other than the bathroom issue, our stay was great.

Wonderful location, you get to enjoy the lake before and after the rush. However the activities and extras are a bit expensive (considering the rooms are already very expensive). The lake view from the Temple building was just amazing.

Just a perfect experience. Chateau Lake Louise was a stellar place to stay.

Just beautiful

Excellant staff....professional, friendly and knowledge....

Excellent stay. Be mindful of parking cost.
Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was old and the bed was squeaky. Other than that, everything was amazing!

The spectacular and iconic location at the base of Lake Louise, together with the wonderful staff and historic hotel, make staying here an unforgettable experience. The concierge team in particular are outstanding.

Beautiful

I found the vegetarian meal choice in the formal MSI ing room and the resort restaurants very limited to non existent despite the dining room being informed a month prior to our stay. For a Fairmont I find this very frustrating. Paying $64.00 for a plate of 1/4 charred broccoli and black beans when you can get a steak for that price is not acceptable. Please update your menu to reflect meal choices for 2024!

Wonderful setting. Staff very helpful and friendly. Convenient location for day trips in surrounding area. Dining options quite pricey.

The Fairmont Chateau at Lake Louise exceeded our expectations!! The staff and service is incredible. We appreciated our complimentary upgrade and the thoughtfulness of staff as we celebrated our anniversary! Having the views of Lake Louise for 24 hours— priceless.
4.5
Very close to main attraction
4.5
No room amenities, other than pump shampoo/conditioner/body wash and hand lotion. Towels were thin and not nicely presented. No bottled water in room, bar was not stocked at all. asked concierge, reply was that they are eco conscious, understandable but after paying over 1,000.00 per nite per room, plus we had 2 rooms), expected more, like other Fairmont properties we stay at.

Room view was phenomenal!

The best option if you want to stay near Lake Louise.

Lake Louise just fantastic. It is better to stay in this hotel if possible you can enjoy all moments of lake Louise.

Property is beautiful, but they are remodeling so not the best time to go.

The staffs (Estefania and Atharv) are very friendly and professional. I enjoyed every minute staying in this picturesque hotel with warmth reception!

The view of Lake Louise is stunning. But that is the main attraction. The rooms are dated. The food is expensive and the quality not commensurate. The Lakeview is the place to sit for a view of the lake, especially at lunch, however, the selection is unusual and lacks any of the basic items one would be looking for at lunch. There is no option for anything ‘normal’ (a nice salad with salmon or chicken, a burger, etc). You cannot get anything normal (or normally priced) at lunch at the restaurant that has a view (unless you are under 12!). They DO have a new option of a rotisserie chicken with a Caesar salad served table side. Why is a table-side Caesar even desirable? The chicken gets cold while waiting for the salad to be prepared. It’s not like it’s anything special to see. And it took over an hour before they came to prepare it. We were hoping to get a normal lunch in a normal amount of time and get back to our activities! Please just make a Caesar with grilled chicken available from the kitchen at lunch! Another note (and I heard this from another guest who was checking out next to me): the eggs at the breakfast buffet are liquid eggs so the consistency is off and the taste is totally bland. We asked for eggs to be done in the kitchen and they sent out the same fake eggs until we asked specifically that they be made with actual eggs , not the kind that you pour from a carton. The food needs an overhaul as do the rooms/grounds.

Great view of Lake Louise

Hotel is under construction. Initial room assigned was 2nd floor overlooking the construction with a sliver of lake (we paid $1300 for a lake view). We had to fight to have our room changed and ended up with a very nice view, that said, there is constant noise from the people outside well into the night. Worst $1300mroom I have ever stayed at.

This property is simply amazing. If I could describe it with one word - majestic.

What a fantastic location! Our suite was average as we did not have a lake view but it is an older hotel. Everything else was exceptional! The concierge service was top notch! They were so friendly and accommodating, contacting us regularly to see if there was anything they could do to make our stay more enjoyable. The location is unbelievable with the most spectacular views! We did the sunrise canoe activity as well as the E-bike to Morants Curve which were both so much fun! One of our best vacations ever!

A beautiful hotel. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Magnificent view!

Amazing overall! The views are unbeatable. The service was excellent!

A wonderful hotel in a idyllic location BUT keep in mind there is a major construction project happening that begins as early as 7:30 AM. Some rooms have heavy equipment operating direct outside the windows until after 7PM. Make sure you don't say on a low floor in the area called the Painter Wing if you like peace and quite.

Nice location.
Old hotel.

Everything was great. Rooms clean. Staff exceptional

The rooms are very small but the lake view is worth it!
A few disappointing areas. We experienced both helpful/very friendly and not so helpful/friendly service depending on who we got at the concierge desk. That was a bit disappointing at this caliber of a hotel. They have activities we can sign up for which were mostly booked up before we had a chance. The mixology course seemed strange they only allow so few people to join. The construction which obviously isn't permanent but was very bothersome. We did a sunrise tour to lake Moraine and hoped to come back for a nap at 730 a.m. The beeping and construction noise was already going strong and it's impossible to sleep. Same thing each morning. It completely ruined to peacefulness of the view. Finally, the amount of non-hotel guests allowed in and around is overwhelming. I didn't expect that. Tons of people coming into use the restrooms after hikes and roaming the main floor areas. It does clear out later in the evening which was nice. It is a great experience to stay here if you can afford the splurge. The cleaning staff was always friendly. It was a once in a lifetime for us and we were just disappointed to spend so much and not have exceptional service and experience that we expected.

We had a lakeview room on the Fairmont Gold floor. This included a delicious breakfast buffet. Round the clock coffee/tea/soft drinks and a late afternoon extensive tea/snack with many options labeled vegetarian/vegan/gluten free/pork free. It also included a private concierge who was helpful in prearranging day trips to the ice fields and dinner reservations. The facility is beautiful. The lake is stunning. Even though there was some renovation going on, it did not hinder our enjoyment. All the restaurants on premises were amazing and they were very careful to inquire about any dietary restrictions.
The shops were pricey so bring plenty of warm clothes and socks if you visit the icefields.
