The pool area was being renovated so lots of noise. Lots of traffic noise outside. The balcony was nice and the view if the lake was beautifel.

Room was nice. Beautiful views. Staff was accommodating. Hot water with a lot of pressure which is nice at a hotel. Security in the parking lot so I felt better about my vehicle/belongings. I will definitely look to stay again in the future.

The view was worth it.

I had reserved a room with a king bed only to get there a find I was given a queen size bed. I was kept awake with several guest being loud after 11 pm.

This stay was very underwhelming. The first negative experience occurred upon our arrival. There was no parking available in front of the hotel and we had to park behind a sketchy gas station. The check in process was smooth enough.
The room itself was not great. The bedding seemed clean enough. However, the rest of the room was not. The desk and TV stand had a visible layer of dust on them. The chair and bench had several stains. The lampshade appeared to have blood splattered on it. Additionally, the mini fridge was barely cold.

It was terrible. We booked with the booking insurance and got charged an extra fee for them to not allow us to cancle when we realized it wasnt a good fit. They were under construction which wasnt disclosed of when we booked so when we tried to cancel/ transfer they basically told us we were out of luck. We checked in late and didnt get to actually lay down until after 2 am just to be woken up at 6 am to construction crews smashing big hammers into the concrete sidewalk for hours right outside of our doors. When we called the front desk they were rude and hateful like it was something we should expect. Overall it was probably the absolute worst experience and im beyond disappointed. I feel robbed out of my money it was terrible.

My wife have been staying at this property a few times per year, after discovering itbin early 2024, when we visit the lake. We've enjoyed it thus the reason we keep returning. Remodeling was going but we were put in room far enough away that we couldn't hear anything going on. The rooms have been redecorated and while we certainly appreciated the large TV, the furnishings reminded me of modern 1990s with the design and color when I was a hotel GM for a couple of properties. The current design probably makes it difficult to make up/change the sheets on the bed. I would have executed a punch list to ensure i was getting the results I wanted from the remodel. Our bathroom door stuck at the top, again, probably something that occurring while painting the door - at least partially. They had placed gray outdoor carpet on the balcony area. It definitely made it quieter but a risk too when considering the drip from the a/c units. We could already see some rust areas on the carpet. We'll continue to stay here going forward as long as the service stays the same and of course, the views. Currently, it's not letting me add photos below.

Overall, the hotel was really good. It's obviously an older place but they are in the middle of some renovations. The location was perfect, right on the lake with private paths along the lake with docks, a playground for the kids and a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The free breakfast at the hotel restaurant was amazing with fresh homemade biscuits, gravy, real bacon, sausage, homemade cinnamon rolls and more. We would definitely stay here again.

Older hotel. Young lady at front was very nice and quick check in. Room had a older smell to it.

This was by far the worst hotel experience of my life. We evacuated from Saint Petersburg FL for hurricane Milton.
We arrived at 2:30 pm. Checking in was a breeze. Staff was friendly. We reserved 2 rooms for myself and family. Entering my room, floors was dirty, covered in crumbs from the last guest, the bathroom had a dirty was cloth on the door and a dirty hand towel in the bathroom sink. Bed sheets looked dirty but we were so tired we just laid on top of everything and went to sleep. The other room was cleaner but the door was jammed shut. Maintenance had to come assist with opening the door. My sister ended up getting cut on a sharp piece of metal hanging off the latch.
After first nights sleep, I worked from my room and kept smelling something off. After logging out of work for the day I went to go lay down on the bed and watch tv. I grabbed a pillow and went to flip it over to only see a large pee stain!!! I immediately went to the front desk, told them about the not so clean room, gave them the pee stained pillow. I received a “I’m so sorry” and a fresh pillow and sheets to put on myself. Back at the room I removed the sheets only to discover the mattress protector also had pee stains all over it.
The road noise was horrible but I knew that from previous reviews. I just expected some place safe and clean to sleep while my hometown was getting pummeled by a hurricane.

Everything was great. Breakfast was great and hot. Renovations going on were a little noisy but stopped by 530pm every day.

Very clean & the breakfast was great!

Everything was really great except the road noise. It was extremely loud all night long. Racing cars, load motorcycles coming thru the parking lot outside out door. The room was very clean and the break bar was very nice and the staff very friendly.

The hot breakfast bar was great. That was the best thing about our stay. First the parking situation is terrible. Not enough parking spaces for available rooms. Next the wifi didn't work at all while we were there. When reported to the front desk the lady informed me it was out and they couldn't do anything about it. Our TV was out. I reported it to the front desk and they sent someone to fix it 5 hours later. It is loud. You can hear everything going on outside and in adjoining rooms loud and clear. On a positive note Jax Bar & Grill is very nice.

It was such a beautiful place and a good area to stay at and the restaurant and staff was amazing and the bar was lots of fun with all the friendly locals who made us feel right at home. Everyone and everything was amazing and I will definitely be back

Exveptional staff went above and beyond. I left a library book in our room when we checked out. They mailed it to my home upon request. Got it within 3 days.

The location was very noisy, area was trashy, the room floor was dirty, the shower was terrible and had spots of mold, and the toilet seat was broken. Was not up to the par of a Wyndym location.

The hotel was having work done , which at 8am having to listen too nail guns and hammering among other tools , was frustrating, it scared my dog greatly , But the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly specially the housekeeping staff They were awesome , front desk crew only dealt with them on arrival and checkout , friendly . Pros: Housekeeping very good. Breakfast on first morning was cold because heat not turned on under the buffet. 2nd and 3rd mornings was very good and hot. Basic foods--biscuits, gravy, bacon, sausage, eggs, jelly. Did have wonderful cinnamon rolls.
Cons:. Elevator out of order, toilet seat loose, then broke and was replaced. Hair dryer handle had been wrapped with toilet paper?? Pool was nasty and after asking maintenance to skim out trash, it was never done. Renovations started the 2nd day of our stay and nothing was said about it. When we asked the front desk, they said they didn't know about it until that day either. What??? Someone had to authorize this. Very loud banging went on from around 9 am until after 5 pm. Could not believe this was a Wyndham property.

We loved this hotel. Food was great. Room was perfect. We will visit again.

Private balcony/table/chairs. Cool air. Conveniently located. Easy check in. Good value.

The entire side of the hotel had beautiful views of the lake. Each room had a balcony area and the ground floor lake view rooms had BBQ grills! The hot breakfast buffet was delicious, plentiful, and included table service for drinks which was a very nice touch. There was a boat ramp nearby and several piers where visitors tied their boats and water toys. We saw several people fishing from the piers and lots of people enjoying the pool. The Labor Day crowd made it feel a bit like a family resort and we had a relaxing overnight stay.

We both are handicapped, and had to park almost 100 yards away!! The TV was a joke. We had to get the front desk and security in our room around 12 am to show us how to work the remote. And then the moment they left, it went crazy again. So no TV!!

The restaurant Jax grill was horrible for the cost. Spent $100 couldnt eat the ribye or filet. Poor cuts of meat. Shrimp was good although a bit over cooked and we waited over an hour for our food. Room was clean with nice view

Absolutely LOVE this place. We had a lake view and we spent more time outside enjoying the water. Its very beautiful. The staff was amazing and the hotel was extremely clean. The restaurant/bar had really good food. The only thing that I hated was the day we were leaving.

Not quiet at all or easy parking and about safe idk either because there is people drinking and doing other stuff while they walk by your door they dont have respect of other people sleeping.

The workers at the front desk we encountered were super nice and the food at breakfast delicious. There were some obvious renovations done such as the lobby area and some of the fixtures in our room, not everything was updated. In our room, the sheets were clean, the floor looked newer, & the bathroom sink and mirror were newer. However, the bed sagged, there was a mold stain on the ceiling by the bathroom, and the caulking around the tub had mold & rust spots. There was work being done on other rooms. The view of the lake was nice.

Looks like they are in the process of updating the rooms and ours was updated so that's a plus. The common areas were what is needing attention. The walkways were dirty and in need of a good pressure wash or at least a blower a few times per week. The outdoor common areas were what seemed in need of attention.

The hotel rooms need updating! Parking is sometimes full.

The property was old, room and outside areas were dirty. The fitness room, conference room and other bonuses were all piled with broken furniture with hand written signs reading “closed.” The parking lot was full with patrons of the hotel along with visitors of the bar, a lot of which were congregated and drinking in the lot. Breakfast was at least decent.

Was a pretty location. Construction noise in the morning was a little much. Room was clean.

We liked the view of the Lake. Room was clean, just a little dated. Restaurant was very good!
