Clean, good breakfast, good services.

Clean and inviting . Friendly staff and good location within walking to local stores and restaurants. Bathroom clean and towels that you can wrap around yourself ! Only thing I would say that needs attention in the slippery tubs that need to be attended to - need a decals to provide traction.

It was fine for a night- no shampoo in room. Bed pillows were small squares, not super comfortable. Man who checked us in was nice.

I arrived after 12midnight exhausted so appreciated the comfortable bed with great pillows. My room was also very quiet which I hoped it would be.
I found the continental breakfast lacking compared to many other hotels I have visited. For example Embassy Suites includes real oatmeal. fresh fruit, real scrambled eggs, among other healthy options.
I could not find anything I considered healthy to eat this morning at the Comfort in in Edgewater,NJ. Plus the plastic forks were so fragile the tines broke off with use.
Both the night person and the one this morning were very pleasant to deal with.

Booked a room with a balcony. Checked in went up to my room and instead of a balcony I had a jacuzzi. Went back to the front desk because while a jacuzzi would have been nice if I were with a spouse I was not and requested a balcony for a reason. Was told that they overbooked the balcony rooms and they gave me this one at no extra charge. Ok fine. But now the hotel claims I broke a bed in a room that I never even asked for and that I slept in for all of 5 hours. Coincidence? I think not. They have since tried to charge me 3 different times and I have yet to receive pictures from this mysterious broken bed. Never again

I could take ferry to go to Manhattan. The ferry pier is 15 mins walk away from the hotel. It was very convenient.

A hidden gem, for sure! The staff goes above and beyond, and the view of the river is stunning! Clean, calm, and comfort!

Nice hotel, room was very clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices and a 15 minute walk to the ferry into New York. Definitely recommend

im not happy with my reward amount from hotels.com think i will move to a different provider

Very clean hotel. The rooms with water view have a great view of the NYC skyline and the Hudson river. There is a paved walkway along the waterfront that is handicapped accessible right next to the hotel. The hotel is walkable to a few restaurants and grocery stores. The breakfast is limited, but available daily. Coffee available 24 hours. I would stay there again.

There were prostitutes with their pumps in and out all day long. The cops were there constantly. The hallways smell so bad and then they sprayed really strong stuff to try to cover up the smells.

No real signs on the street that the property is located in the back

Great option to visit Manhattan and a reasonable price. On local bus route, 25 minutes to downtown Manhattan

The property was good the staff was very helpful mostly the lady from the breakfast was very attentive. The greeting people was not exceptional but it was ok. The carpet smell like wet carpet.

Very clean, breakfast was great, receptionist pleasant. Beautiful view. Right next to Sojo and Trader Joe’s and other shops. It was a good stay.

I just picked the location because it was close to Manhattan and we were dropping our daughter off at school. I loved that there was an inviting scent to greet you as you walked in and the front desk staff was very cordial.
We had a first floor room and the room was clean, comfortable with a really amazing view of New York and the Hudson River. The patio was nice and the Riverwalk was right behind the hotel. Everything was nice just wished that the dining area was bigger.

Overall stay was not good

It was a convenient location for my family as we moved our child to his dorm at Columbia University. The rooms were clean, and the view of the Hudson was beautiful.

This is more of a motel than hotel. Walls are thin. Hallway smell of cigarettes & weed. Additionally the hairdryer in our room was broken & the mini fridge kept making this loud humming noise all night. Thank goodness it was only 1 night stay.

Property is a bit dated.

Pretty good. A little more updating to go with the gentrification of the town. But the view was amazing.

Good location, 20 to 40 minutes bus into NYC.
Beds horrible, so soft that 12 year old was aching all day, each day as well as adults. They changed rooms for us and second room bed was bad too.
Bathroom base of door frame was deteriorating and moldy.
They had no public water without having to go to the fitness room and use the dispenser there.

We have stayed here many times over the years when we travel to NYC, and the renovations to the hotel have made it a more comfortable place to stay.

I’ve lived in this area for over 25years and know it well. I usually stay at the Hilton city place in Edgewater Nj, but this time I stayed here because my husband had to come to see his doctor suddenly. The balcony overlooking the Hudson River was very nice.

The view from the room of the Manhattan skyline was spectacular. The small hole in the top sheet and the small orange stain in the bottom sheet were a bit creepy. The room was comfortable otherwise.

Enjoyed my stay. I have no complaints

Breakfast was ok, the food was the same every day, not much variety and not always well cooked, back parking lot was muddy and flooded, great access to public transportation to NYC, nice view of the city, staff was nice and room was clean

Felt very dirty, and had a musty smell in the room. Area around it was great and a nice view from the room

The location was amazing for a rest close to Long Island after traveling from an event. We had a river view that was nice at night.
