I was here for a concert in Vancouver. I read so many reviews of this place that I feel were not accurate in anyway to my experience. The hotel is nothing crazy fancy, but it was more than adequate for our weekend, the front desk staff was nice, the parking lot was safe, the lobby and all public areas was clean. Our room was clean and we have no issues with anything in the room. If I travel to Van again and want to stay a little further away from downtown. I’d absolutely stay here again. The hotel is also a close distance to a transit station.

The pictures do not show the entire property! Our rooms were in a separate old dirty building. Floors were filthy, bathrooms were dirty. TV didn’t work. Did not have close access to pool area, we had to drive to it. Definitely not as kid friendly as previous reviews

Goid hotel for the price. Could have been cleaned a bit better.

Room was clean and bed and sheets were comfortable. Close to lots of food options.

The vending machine on the first floor was broken, I had to go to the second floor to buy a bottle of water, but I had to go back to the counter to change money, because the machine didn't accept card, "cash only "

Only thing was the shower needed work. Hard to regulate temperature. Floors were a bit dirt but not bad.

It was not so great. The room was smelling smoke. People would come at the window and smoke. Lots of noises early morning.

Overall the hotel was excellent value compared to others in the area. The restaurant attached to the hotel had excellent chineese food and offered a great value breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room spacious We didn’t use the pool area. We stayed 4 night. We understand that they don’t change beds or even replace towels daily. We’re ok with that but for 3 days they didn’t even enter our room to tidy up or empty the garbage or add more toilet paper It’s absolutely unacceptable that they wouldn’t even check to see if we needed anything. I had to go to the front desk to get more toilet paper and coffee for the room. We also notice on our first night that the floors were filthy. We spilled a bit of water on the floor and when we wiped it up, the napkin was black.
We arrived on a Fridays afternoon and on Monday at 3:50pm I confronted a cleaning staff near our room and asked when they were cleaning our room. She said we were next. We had been gone all day each day (Sat. Sun & Mon) and did not use the do not disturb sign any of the 3 days we were there. We thought eventually they would come in and at least tidy up. When I asked the cleaning staff about us being neglected the last 3 days she said they get assigned different room daily and never know who there for one night or longer. The front desk was no help. They said they just started and didn’t know the routine. Great value and comfortable room but their cleaning sucks and no one care

Absolutely despicable attempted check-in process, the front desk worker was rude, hostile and did everything in her power to slow down and complicate the process. Super long line, zero sense of urgency and the girl eventually decided to “take a break” abandoning all of her guests patiently waiting. I never ended up getting to check in and not only that, she refused to answer the Ramada phone to speak to hotels.com to grant my refund. My experience was 100% caused by the dramatics, games and unprofessional runaround of the front desk worker.

Absolutely dreadful stay. From our party, some had to change room because of bed bugs, I had a putrid and somehow pickle-like odour in my room, we found silverfish in our shower, 2 out of 5 had a non-working shower and we saw living rats in and out of the hotel even in the restaurant within opening hours.
Also, wi-fi didn't work half the time, rooms were super outdated (I had a built in AM/FM Cassette player sound system in mine) and furniture like chair and sofas were all stained.
This place should either be closed down or even toredown. Ramada should be ashamed to have this hotel in their portfolio.

Staff insured me that I’d have my deposit back within 24hrs and it’s now been almost a week and a half and still don’t have it back….no pleased and will not be staying again.

The room was dated but clean. the windows had no screens so we could not open windows so the AC had to run 24/7 and it was LOUD! The pool was clean enough but you had to go to front desk for towels which was a long walk to a separate building and back.

The room was dirty. Also insects were inside the room. We reserve 2 queen but gave us double beds. Info says breakfast included but nope. No hair dryer. It felt like homeless shelter with fancy lobby and pay lots of money

Older property needed some TLC but was very clean, staff were excellent and beds comfortable. I would stay there again if I needed to be in that area.

I liked that we had an outside door, though I did see a lot of rodent activity between our area and the pool area.
The hotel is fine it's just the location that's blah.

Close to the highway was nice. Staff were all nice. A little run down. However, the room was dirty... black feet from the floor, right after showering had to wear shoes the whole time, dirty walls, filthy AC/Fan unit that didnt work. Ripped shower curtain. Old pillows that were flat. No do not disturb sign, which would have prevented 2 cleaning staff from coming in at 8am on our in between day of our 2 night stay. No elevator.

The wasn't properly cleaned. The fridge didn't work and one of the lamps the cord was broken.

The staff was respectful , and the service was good. But the hotel is poor and the area was a bit . Also, the facilities in the hotel were not as good as we expected. For example: I needed ice from the ice machine and I couldn’t locate it. The room was ok, it has a hair dryer, iron, fridge, microwave but no safe. Overall, I was a bit shocked that this is a Ramada hotel, I will say it’s more of a motel than a hotel.

One of the biggest concern we had was this Ramada is unlike other Ramadas. We got a room which was not clean enough our bottom of shoes turned black even after housekeeping cleaning was done . We do not recommend staying with small kids as they tend to touch down and fall sick. Overall pretty old hotel and not well maintained

It smelled very bad and everything looked very old and dirty.

It was dirty outside, old and we seen rats because of the garbage sitting outside.
3.0 / 5.0
We got what we paid for, so it's hard to complain. The hotel was clean enough but very dated and is desperate need of a refresh. The wifi was very poor and spotty. The staff were very nice but we didn't see them much because we used the back entrance where our car was parked. The garbage out back smelled really bad one day, and the table and chairs on the terrace outside the pool were never cleaned. We used this hotel because we paid for our family to come with us for a wedding. Otherwise we would have paid more and gone to a better hotel. We likely wouldn't go back.
