First time in Dublin and this was a perfect choice for two nights! Pat was a marvelous, attentive host and the Aberdeen definitely showcases the charm of a family run lodge. When we return to Dublin, I will look here first. Thank you, Pat!

Aberdeen Lodge is in the Sandymount area of Dublin. It is a lovely property, clean and comfortable and the grounds are well kept with flowers everywhere. The host is kind, helpful and welcoming. We arrived several hours earlier than check-in time because of an overnight flight. It happened there was a room ready and they graciously let us check in early.
There is ample parking on the property, but the bus stop is just a block or so away and can get you to where you need to go.
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Excellent place and the staff/owner were incredibly polite and helpful. Close walk to the beach and public transit was steps away. The place was very nice and the community areas were well maintained and clean. Comfortable to loiter around while preparing or decompressing from the day. Would highly recommend.

I really enjoy staying here, this my third time here. The rooms are very nice. It is in a quiet neighborhood and transportation is very easy with the bus running in front of the B&B and the train just 5 minutes walking. It was easy to get into the main part of Dublin. The food is very good. I will stay again and highly recommend this B&B.

My new favorite hotel in Dublin. Great location. Beautiful building. Very friendly staff. Loved it. Walls are a little thin but it didn’t bother me at all. Walkable to Sandymount Village. A+

If you want to feel welcome and looked after, this is the place to stay. Owner and staff are considerate and helpful. The area is beautiful and there are good dining options. The breakfast at the lodge is great. Fantastic coffee and home cooked fare in a comfortably fancy dining room. We had delicious Indian food at Khushee in the village. Travel in and out is easy via public transportation or taxi. Our family had a wonderful stay. Personal touch, beautiful location, and exceptional staff, is what you will find here.

Lovely place, a warm welcome and great staff. Will stay here again for sure next time I visit Dublin.
The dart or the bus are just down the street and takes you to the city center within minutes.
Thanks for everything Anna!

Peaceful oasis in the capital city. Wish I wasn't there for work as the lovely drawing room, with a book to curl up with or an afternoon in the garden, surrounded by golden retrievers and dog-sized feline Coco would have been bliss.
Obliging and charming hosts and Big Smile staff, plus an exceptional breakfast, elegant silverware, home sourced/cooked products. Just lovely.

It was wonderful! We loved that it was just a bit outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Dublin but could get downtown by bus, train or taxi easy enough. You can take a walk by the sea! Loved it! Bed comfortable., spotless room, amazing breakfast, great service! Hope to be back someday!

Lovely old house with very welcoming staff. The breakfast was also good. Excellent location for the DART into Dublin, too. The only negative was the very noisy plumbing which sounded like a jet taking off when the room above flushed the toilet and the creaky floors when they walked about their room.

Lovely oasis in a beautiful neighborhood. Owners Pat and Anna took great care to welcome us and accommodate any requests. A home away from home. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts in the elegant dining room with a view of the beautiful garden and their friendly golden retrievers.

Aberdeen lodge was fantastic. Pat and Ann were wonderful hosts. We had the three bed room and had enough room for all 3 of us. The bathroom was fantastic. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Pat was fantastic about giving us all the information we needed to get started on our travels. He helped us figure out the bus and rail system. Restaurants that were their favorite in town. It was a wonderful stay. The lodge is beautiful. Free parking. He allowed us to come in early to our room as our flight came in first thing in the morning. The brought up cake for us on our last night. We had breakfast one day and it was fantastic. The people that work for them were friendly and helpful as well. Perfect Stay and Perfect Location in a small town but 10 minutes from Dublin and a few minutes from the water!!!!

The best place I’ve stayed out of hundreds, no question. The hostess, Anna, is lovely. She welcomed us with tea, coffee, and delightful homemade peanut butter cookies. We only stayed one night, but we played with her two golden retrievers while we waited for our breakfast, which was also a 10/10. We’ve already been recommending this place to our friends and will definitely be back as soon as we can, for a much longer stay. It’s also conveniently located a short walk from the DART and just a short ride downtown. Thank you for such a lovely welcome to Ireland!

I couldn’t think of a better welcome to Ireland if I tried. After some misunderstandings and delays on my part I arrived much later than anticipated in the wee hours of the morning. I was still greeted so warmly by the staff like a mother welcoming her kid back from college. They showed me my room and the made me a meal because they knew I had be hungry from my travels. I ate a great meal and crashed in a big cozy bed. I truly wished I could have stayed longer.
