Even with construction, this was a great hotel stay. The best thing was the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast buffet was superior.

Legally speaking, they covered their behinds. In the Hotels.com description (in a not so-clear place) it stated there was construction “nearby.” I only noticed this after I had already fallen into the trap and arrived at the hotel. I quickly realized that their careful use of the word “nearby” was on the point. “Nearby” could mean a hundred meters away, ten meters away, or literally right outside your window. On the hotel’s own website, they mentioned there was construction but claimed it wouldn’t be “disruptive.” And again, I think that as long as your ears don’t bleed, apparently it’s not considered disruptive. One of the loud construction “thuds” even startled one of the hotel’s employees. But let’s start from the beginning. I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon after a five-hour trip for a three-day business stay, hoping to get some rest. That’s when I first heard the construction noise. They moved me to another room, but it was even worse. I was woken up by the sounds of hammers, chisels, drills, and even loud music right outside my window. The “nearby” construction was, in reality, zero inches from my window. Their solution? They offered for me to leave within less than an hour and find another hotel. They would give me 75 CAD, and take the rest of the 480 CAD I am paying. They also told me I was in the wrong because their “guests” usually leave during the day (when construction starts at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.). I refused their “generous” offer. I had a meeting

Even with the renovations happening outside, the interior is very clean and nice. Staff is kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and well kept. Truly enjoyed my stay and will be back!

Construction made checking in and parking a little tricky. The inside of the facility is top notch. A wedding reception may have overwhelmed staff for the number of guest there. Breakfast buffet was great. Good overall stay.

The hotel’s facade was under renovation, and there was also a construction site next door that started work at 7 AM, making it difficult to sleep due to the noise. The pool and club were very dirty and clearly not maintained. Room service and reception were extremely slow, often forgetting requests. We had to call four times just to get two extra sets of towels, and eventually had to remind them in person. Despite our request, room service didn’t clean the room properly; they only made the beds and left without cleaning the bathroom. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

This place was absolutely horrible. They stated my reservation was for another date when it wasn't and charged me an extra $300. When I got to the room it had a horrible smell. If I could give it a negative rating I would. Just horrible.

Amazing place to stay. Every staff is helpful but I didn’t had a great experience at the breakfast room with Mr. Julio who was the server who treated us very badly. Because of his racist behaviour the whole stay was spoiled.

Hotel inside was excellent although laundry should be open 24 hrs, it closed early even though it was in its own room that would not cause noise outside. Buffet breakfast was fantastic, the additional charge is great value for what we got. Front desk staff were not very pleasant or inviting. Buffet breakfast staff and laundry staff were lovely. The 1 bad thing was the unsafe feeling about the parking at the back lot. It is known there are break ins with cars, it even had 1 incident during our stay, the vehicle parked right next to my rental was broken into. Thing is, if it is an issue, easy enough to add $1 to the daily rate to cover a security guard overlooking the parking lot.

I am rating my experience as "terrible" due to car theft attempt from hotela parking lot right under the security camera. Even though hotel staff was very cooperative however my vehicle got damaged and it renuined our entire vacation. I would request the hotel management to increase security measures to prevent such incidents so guests can safely and peaceful enjoy their stay at the hotel. If you are coming to this hotel do not bring your expensive cars.

It was an average property..in need of a renovation soon. There was a leak in front of one of the rooms we reserved..the room also had an unpleasant smell so we asked to switch to another, which they gladly did. Service was excellent though. Also wished breakfast was included.

This is an old hotel and the room is like a motel and the A/C is a window A/C. The hotel is expensive for the amenities and the room carpet and bathroom is one of the oldest and ugliest I ever stayed in.
