Overnight stay, 5 min walk to downtown area where there are plenty of great eating & drinking options

Location was ok but clerk was abrupt. Free breakfast was advertised but clerk said there was no breakfast and did not apologize that website was not accurate.

This place needs to be renovated! Ugly patched up hole, cigarette burns on everything. Definitely not worth what they charge!

Perfectly nestled into the downtown area just blocks from downtown.

Extremely rude and the room was filled with cigarette burns.
The best thing about it was we had a place to sleep.
Either we where Blessd that we even had a place. It just wasn’t worth me money

Really bad conditions and the rooms smell straight up mariguana. We couldn’t stand the ame el from how bad it was we ended up staying in my sons apartment and he had to stay at a friends it was nice of him giving us his space for the night. But the hotel room was one of the most nastiest experiences I’ve experienced

When we checked in in the afternoon, the area was kind of sketchy. The bathroom toilet was all stained TV did not work and when we called the front desk, they said oh it must be broken. Try to resolve the Issue. The place was very ran down. Half the outlets in the room did not work. This was not a inexpensive place. We paid premium amounts for the room. Would definitely not stay here again.

Poor service

It's a solid basic motel but we had a noisy drink frig that can be annoying if you're a light sleeper.

Had to check in standing outside at the "night window". They did not allow us inside to check in. It was 4 pm, raining, and about 4C/40oF. This is the most basic of basic motels. Reasonably clean, but that is all to recommend it.

Bare minimum motel experience, but safe, quiet and convenient. Good location, short walk to downtown Athens, and bagel place across the street is great for breakfast. Don't forget to ask for the wifi password on arrival. Shower was only very hot or very cold.

There was one bed when we ordered 2. The image online is just flip flopped. The people across the way were smoking something that smelled like burning rubber. There were burn marks all over the counters. We also had a great view into someone’s backyard. We ended up leaving at 2 in the morning because of the poor experience. We were in room 210

Place is filthy and falling apart and needs ALOT of attention.

Bug infested, tiny rooms, run down furniture
6.0 / 10.0
The owners were accommodating and friendly. The air conditioner in the room was in great working order. The cleanliness of the room could definitely be improved upon. There were no bed bugs or other insects seen. We had 3 rooms and stayed one night. It was reasonably priced.
4.0 / 10.0
Outlets in the room did not work
Blood stain on comforter
Hair on towels
Stale smoke smell in non smoking room
Developed skin rash after stay

There was no lobby to check in. We checked in through a closed window with a hole in it. This experience caused a sense of insecurity. No coffee maker in the room, no complimentary water bottles in the room. Place smells like a smoke house, building is old and smelly. Too much noise, not worth staying there again. Too pricey for that it has to offer.

I think Expedia should send somebody to stay there and decide if this is really the type of property they want to list.
It has no functioning lobby; guests check in at a window that opens to the parking lot. I booked a nonsmoking room and they gave me a smoking room with air so bad that all my clothes had to be washed as soon as I left, but there seemed to be vacant nonsmoking rooms. The floor is soft in some places under the carpets. The owner/desk clerk seemed like she didn't want us to stay there. Family members in the room complained of bedbugs. The toilet flushed sporadically.

I did not like that everything was broken and filthy. There was long back hairs on the towel, where my friend and I have brown short hair. I booked a NON smoking room. But when we got there, we told that we booked a smoking room. Where I in fact did not. When asked to chance it the women at the front desk said oh there are no free women's. When in fact the parking lot was empty for the whole three days we where there. Finally the "free wifi" did not work well at all. We got at most one bar on our devices if we where lucky. This hotel was a total disappointment and I don't recommend any one to go there again.

THIS PLACE HAS BED BUGS!!
I stayed in room 106 this past weekend and came home with beg bugs all over my clothes and in my bags.
This place reeks of cigarettes and it incredibility unsafe.
I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.

Ok well let me start with the positives… running water. Roof. Door that locked. Blackout curtains. Was ready for checkin early so we could get to the game. Walking distance to everything.
Negatives. All the rest you could imagine. Dirty. Ugly. Smelly. No coffee maker. Slightly better than sleeping in the car. Slightly.

Worn down, but clean. The location is great. We would stay here again.

Stayed for game day….. 1 mile walk to the stadium. Ideal bagel across the street for coffee… No coffee maker in room…. Restaurants about 1.5 walk from room.

I was expecting a good bit more as far cleanliness goes for $142. Operator was very rude.

Not as good as I had hoped. Nothing in walking distance. I was attend a conference at UGA but the conference facility was full. This location was a poor substitute

Seemed clean enough so I guess its ok for a quick one night stay but don't expect anything more. Everything is in a state of disrepair, room was tiny and smelled of bad incense. Clerk was extremely unhelpful and unwilling to make any accommodations.

They no longer serve breakfast which they haven't updated online. Checkout time was an hour earlier than advertised. The shower wouldn't get warm at all on my first use. It wouldn't go any cooler than scolding hot on the second use. My card wouldn't work for the door on 3 occasions over a 2-night stay. Each time required a trip to the front desk. No apologies were given. Some outlets weren't working. The blanket is essentially a tablecloth.

This place should be shut down! Scary people around with belongings in trash bags! Bathroom disgusting! Do NOT stay here!

Worst hotel stay of my life. Yes it is a budget hotel but this is well below the standard for any budget hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room didn’t have a lamp, the TV didn’t work at all, the shower was terrible because it was either scalding hot or freezing (I tried to get the temp right for 10 minutes). The rooms are dirty and smelly. This hotel claims they have breakfast but stopped breakfast “due to COVID”. The issue with that excuse is I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels during COVID and all of them keep breakfast, they just individually wrap the items. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and the “comforter” was literally a curtain. We slept with a flat sheet and a curtain to cover us. We happen to have gotten a room with 2 beds so ultimately we stacked both flat sheets and both curtains to simulate an actual bedding experience as close as we could. I raised these concerns to the manager and he was dismissive. He actually waived me off and walked back into the back office. The “savings” on this place is NOT worth it. Do yourself a favor and pay $25 extra to stay at the other hotels nearby.

The hotel was so bad, we were not even able to stay. The room was filthy, dark and smelled terrible. The bed speared to have dirty sheets and bed spread. This was the absolute worst room I have ever seen
2.0 / 10.0
The room was very small but serviceable. Unfortunately, both my husband and I were bitten by bed bugs while we were there, which makes me question the cleanliness of the linens.

Shower did not work properly. Did not like having to check in through a hole in the wall of the building.

This hotel/motel needs A LOT of upgrades. Generally, a very bare bones room that is so outdated and cheap.
No lamps. No coffee pot. No breakfast as advertised (though we probably wouldn't have eaten it anyway).
No toiletries. No housekeeping services. Can't even walk inside to check in. They had a small window where you talked to the front desk. Maybe for safety reasons??Didn't really feel very comfortable in this hotel safety wise. Definitely won't be returning. It certainly didn't help that at 8:30AM on Saturday a guy was right outside our door sanding down a staircase to repaint it. Of all the things that need to be upgraded in this place, the staircase is far down on the list.
