This hotel served our purpose. We needed a hotel for one night before an early flight. The next morning we made use of the shuttle to the airport. The hotel is convenient to the airport which was only seven minutes away. I would stay here again for airport use, we were told beforehand of striking and didn’t mind the limited services. The hotel is an older hotel but the rooms have been recently renovated.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Exactly what I want from a hotel. After arriving though, I was informed the restaurant was closed and they weren't offering daily maid service. This wasn't really a problem as we were only staying two nights. After the first night I came across some of the staff on strike outside of the hotel. Apparently new owner cut 70% of the positions, doesn't want to keep the restaurant open and isn't willing to compensate the cleaning staff appropriately. Had we known, we wouldn't have booked the Raddisson (we are union supporters).The hotel itself is very nice but apparently the new owner is wanting to make big changes, which may mean the hotel won't be as nice for long.

I had an excellent stay--quiet, clean, and welcoming. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was prompt. Also, the front desk person arranged for a shuttle to the cruise dock the following more; it was affordable and incredibly helpful.

The courtesy airport shuttle was convenient and arrived in a timely manner. The front desk person was very friendly and provided great service. The hotel was beautifully remodeled. Very clean.

I want to be fair in that we were informed about the current staff shortages beforehand. The room was clean and the price reflected the limited staff. However, we stayed for seven nights and only got one room service who did not bother changing the sheets even though I specifically asked for them to be changed. You can see how it used to be a great hotel once but now, it’s more like a motel 6 and the smell in the halls reflects this fact. They did tell us about the limitations they face before checking in but it was worse. If you need a room for a night, it may be a good choice but not for more than two days.

We enjoyed our stay at Radisson Blu Vancouver airport location. Beautiful and clean hotel with very friendly staff. Would recommend it if you are not big on hotel swimming pool and restaurant.

It is probably a wonderful hotel when workers not on strike, but services were very limited during stay. We had to empty our own trash from the room and go down the front desk for clean towels/toilet paper etc… Trash cans out front of hotel were full and overflowing.

Person at front desk made a great recommendation for a place to eat as there is no restaurant/bar until further notice. Certainly affected the energy of the place to have no life in the lobby. Room was good and bed was very comfortable.

It started rocky because we waited for over an hour at the airport for the shuttle. When he got there, we started walking up to the curb, he looked me straight in the eye, and took off. It was 100% clear that we were walking to him. I called the hotel, they called shuttle guy, the hotel said that the connection was bad but they think he is turning around. Wait 5 mins and if he doesnt come back, go down and catch a cab and they would reimburse us. We had to catch a cab and the hotel immediately reimbused. The front desk man was so nice! The hotel room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The view was not, but o well. They gave us a list of places to eat, walking or delivery. Nothing was actually walking distance for us since we were flying home the next day after a 12 day land/sea cruise. We were exhausted. Took an uber to a sushi restaurant, and ubered back. The long and short of it was that the hotel people were amazing, the room was great, but there is NOTHING to do around there without having to take an Uber or Taxi. It will be nice if they reopen the bar/restaurant. We would stay again if it is only to sleep. Also, we had to leave earlier than their shuttles started and they did reimburse us the cab that they scheduled for us.

Hotel booked based on location to airport and shuttle. Restaurants are walkable distance away. Cabs/uber is an option too. Beds comfy, shower good, staff very good. We were given a list of restaurants when we arrived as the hotel doesn’t have one. That was a surprise, but the walk was good

I booked a Marina view room for 7 days. The room was terribly noisy. The air conditioner was old and it has pounding sound when it starts. I was not able to sleep because the AC started everything 20 minutes. I was awaken by the loud noise. In addition, the room has a connecting door where I can hear people talking shouting yelling next room. I had contacted the hotel prior the arrival, requesting a quieter room. Unfortunately, I was assigned to this room which is terribly noisy with the AC. The staff was not really able to help with another Marina room. After the third day, I was forced to change to a regular room because I wasn’t sleep for the past few days. The staff knew the problem, but they can’t do much except changing downgrade and change to other room. The employees are on strike too. My trip is basically ruined. 3 days out of 7 days were not fun at all. The staff are friendly and nice but the stays were the Terrible experience.

We enjoyed our stayed, the staff was friendly specially the lady at the reception, the shuttle from and to the airport was very convenient, the rooms were impeccably clean and good size, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom in perfect conditions. It was perfect for us as we rented a vehicle and were able to explore the city, we felt very comfortable, would definitely come back.
