stay was fine until I requested full room service for my stay and I returned to my room at 6 PM and the room was not serviced and staff had already left. I left the room at 09:30. no one could service the room no one could deliver towels and toilet paper and take wet towels away. was told to come down to front desk to pick up what I needed. sorry that is not service. That is an European youth hostel. Do not like that ,that was the option that was offered to me. the poor shuttle driver had to squeeze in time to deliver what I needed. made me feel guilty asking.

This was our first time at this hotel and we absolutely loved it. The restaurant was good and had outside balcony seating. The weather was wonderful and there was a nice breeze. The hotel is an old historic hotel but it is very well-maintained. We took one of the ghost tours of the hotel and it was very interesting. I would definitely stay here again.

Housekeeping blocked the use of the elevator during the day with their service carts. It was annoying because the akready old and slow elevators were monopolizing.
4.2
Always amazing, always friendly, always clean. Our favorite place to stay in the area.
4.2
Everything was excellent, except for they shut the coffee machines off at 9 AM

Due to an auto accident n 1972, I had a really bad whiplash which left my neck straight rather than natural curve. I have to have support for my neck when I sleep & due to the pillows being too large, I wasn't able to support my neck which caused me to have a really bad crick in my neck. The bed was also too hard, that is my only negatives - everything else excellent. I have been to chiropractor for the last three days since getting home trying to get my neck back to normal. I usually do not get cricks but this time I got a severe one because the pillows & bed was way too hard for me personally.

Loved the staff, gal at the restaurant hostess stand was overwhelmed and her sharp tongue displayed that. Food was mediocre but the view was spectacular. Wait staff was excellent.
Room was VERY old (toilet was uncomfortable and wonky as that should be an easy fix) and the shower, well you cannot be a big person or you are in trouble. The hotel has great charm and for an old building it has all the character but it does need a total remodel.
Location is so perfect and would I stay there again I would say a definite yes! Walkable everywhere and the shuttle from their parking lot to the hotel was excellent!
Great place to stay.

I love the Basin Park Hotel. Near all shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. No need to worry about parking due to their own parking lot and shuttle service.
4.2
Overall mediocre experience. The bed was extremely soft to the point of being difficult to sleep in. The staff was friendly and the shuttle service to the parking lot was nice. Hotel is in need of some renovations as it seems to be old and has issues (hot water took forever and was hard to regulate). Not sure this was worth the price considering I paid as much as a really nice hotel in another city but if you’re in a pinch or just like old historical hotels it’s alright.

My husband and I booked a 2- night stay during Bikes, Blues, & BBQ. At check-in, we were greeted warmly and given all the information we needed about the property to know our options for dining and activities. We found our room to be comfortable and inviting, and we were impressed by the deep bathtub and spacious shower. We then decided to have dinner outside at the Balcony. Service and food were both excellent. We then took our server's suggestion and had an after dinner drink at Jack Rabett's, where again the drinks and bar service were excellent.
We enjoyed a good night's sleep on the very comfortable bed. The next day, we had a medical emergency off property, and when I came to the hotel to grab our things and check out a day early, the very kind and thoughtful desk clerk told me he was refunding our fee for that second night, even though it was well past check out time and past time to cancel the 2nd night. I was floored and extremely grateful because I expected to pay for both nights instead of just the one. Also, i want to shout out the parking shuttle driver, as well, who was also very helpful and friendly. All around, great staff and accommodations, and we'll definitely stay here again!

Nice historic hotel. Fabulous location.

Stayed here when attending a wedding on the 6th floor of the hotel. Wedding venue, food, & staff were wonderful. Our room was on the 5th floor and head of the bed was significantly lower than the foot. Staff did come up and "leveled it" but as soon as you got into the bed whatever was holding it up slipped. Also, there was a plastic bottle left by a previous occupant with what looked like urine on top of the air conditioning unit...missed by housekeeping.
I get this is an older hotel and we were paying ease if access to the wedding venue, but I would not recommend staying here. The slanting floors throughout our room while some may have found charming was lost on us.
Finally, the parking situation. The website prepared us for parking off-site and the shuttle driver was very nice, but having to park so far was less than convenient.
4.2
The room was nice for an older hotel. The bathroom was tiny and very limited on the facilities space.
4.2
Love this hotel. Hot tub on a deck outside. Great time
4.2
The hotel is nice however there are a few things that could be improved. 1. Have coffee everyday of the week not just Monday thru Friday. 2. Check in was not allowed until 4 pm early check in should be allowed because check out is at 12 and there is a charge for late check out 3. The service pool charge is ridiculous it should be at the customers discretion. The one bright spot was Bennie the shuttle service driver he was so nice 4.there were noises in our room at night not sure what the noise were sounded like sawing and sanding maybe it was hard working ghosts

Great!
4.2
The location is awesome. The shuttle to the parking lot is good. The updated bathroom was very nice. The smell of weed / pot was overwhelming and constant. For a hotel that marketed as non-smoking, it was very disappointing.
4.2
We have stayed at this hotel before. We love the convenience of the location for walking to shops and restaurants. Also convenient that the hotel has a bar and restaurant.
4.2
Clean and comfortable, considering the age of the location it is well kept. Plenty to do, staff were on point and always helpful. Butttt coffee in the room is terrible, bring your own
4.2
Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, except for the front desk. Dont expect too much info from them.
Parking is the real horror story. You have to park about a 1/4 mile away and have a shuttle pick you up. There loading is only about 3 car lengths long and across the street.
4.2
Convenient and historic, but for the price you should expect better and more updated fixtures and carpet. Staff at check in and the shuttle staff were amazing, but bar and restaurant staff were not that friendly.
4.2
From the start i had breast milk left in my room and house keeping didnt catch it. Then we went downstairs so we could get our breakfast which isnt included in the room and the guy forgot to put the order in. we had to go down and ask what happened. then we paid 22 dollars for cold breakfast that was horrible. We didn't enjoy ourselves at all. think the only thing that made us happy was the tub.
4.2
Did not provide breakfast
4.2
Great location, restaurant with balcony and music.
4.2
Not bad for nearly 120 years old. Parking was challenging but the shuttle service to the offsite parking was good. Room was clean but had a strong mold/mildew smell.
4.2
The lady at the front desk was amazing. Hotel was old but nice still. Must reiterate how nice the lady who checked us in was.
4.2
The historic Basin Park Hotel in downtown Eureka Springs is a breathtaking gem! With its stunning charm and exceptional staff, every detail is meticulously tailored to exceed your expectations. We're captivated and can't wait to return - this hotel has earned our loyalty and our hearts!
4.2
Tv didnt work.
There needs to be a sign above bathtub/shower cautioning for "scalding hot water".
Very inconvenient for parking location distance from hotel. Shuttle was very prompt and courteous, though, getting to and from parking lot to hotel.
Room was nice, just a bit small.
No full breakfast, but was directed to Mud Cafe closeby to walk to and breakfast was good.
4.2
We had a great time! The only problem we had was finding the parking for the hotel. They really need to include the parking address and the number you need to call for pick up on the confirmation email.
4.2
Historic hotel. Property is in relatively good shape. Having said that the carpeting in the hotel is dated and worn. Cleanliness overall good, but carpeting needn’t more attention to cleaning, especially on stairs. Spa and hot
Tub deck very nice.
4.2
Hotel was built in the late 1800's. The parking is 4-5 blocks away downhill but there is a free shuttle that is quick and convenient. This hotel is old. All the hotels in town are old. They are not updated inside. It is very old. Elevator is very slow...unbelievably slow. Did I mention the hotel is old? It is comfortable, clean, useful, but very old. It's like going back in time, but the stuff isn't new. haha. Anyway, the location is perfect and the hotel is functional with exceptional staff....just very old.
4.2
Also fun ghost tour ♥️
4.2
The hotel, constructed in 1905, has maintained its charm. On a rainy afternoon, we spent time in the restaurant, bar, hot tub deck, and game room. All are pleasant, well-run spaces.
4.2
It’s a period property. It has wonderful old architecture. The original windows are beautiful. The floors are wonky, but it’s an old building! It’s a pretty tired property, but if you’re looking for authentic style, it’s perfect!
4.2
The Basin Park is a grand lady! If you love historical sites, you'll love this one. Our room was clean, comfy, safe and quiet. Couldn't hear other guests thru the walls or walking above us. Unloading was a little tricky as the street was really busy but it wasn't a deal breaker. The staff were all great and we enjoyed the live music in Jack Rabbit's whiskey bar and the food at the Balcony Restaurant. There's plenty of shopping and great places to eat within walking distance. And don't miss the tours thru town. Basin Park and Eureka Springs are on the list to visit again.

Perfect stay, highly recommend.
4.2
Fast and easy check in. Friendly staff
4.2
Shuttle service was a great benefit since parking wasn’t close
4.2
Beautiful hotel! Staff seemed bored when we arrived, not very engaging. The parking is off site.
4.2
Cozy place. Friendly staff. Older hotel.
