Great location and friendly service.

My husband and I stayed one night here and loved the proximity to downtown Steamboat. Loved the convenience of Old Town Hot Springs discount tickets offered to us at check in ($24 rather than $29) and located across the street from the hotel. The bathrooms were updated and the room was spacious and clean with a king bed. My only complaint would be the carpet. They should update with laminate flooring. The carpets were heavily stained and gross to walk bare footed on. The front desk service was excellent, check in was a breeze and we would definitely stay there again.

Ok, it’s an old motel with a great name and a fantastic sign in a ski town, expectations weren’t high, it exceeds

Our room was very clean and updated for an older place. Very well-maintained. Continental breakfast is basically toast and cereal. But very convenient across from the Hot Springs.

The location of the hotel works out well.
Great for walks and easy to walk to restaurants.

Great hotel- an oldie but a goodie

Rabbit ears is always great and hot springs right across the street! The rooms are clean but a bit outdated. The bed was a bit firm for my taste.

This hotel was built in the fifties, but has been nicely remodeled. We really enjoyed the classic "road motel" vibe. Our room was very comfortable and the staff was nice.

Nice place to stay. Room was clean and quiet. The location is perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

This is an iconic Steamboat Springs motel across the street from the Old Town Hot Springs. Some rooms back up to the Yampa River. It is dated but well maintained and clean. Breakfast is a little lacking but acceptable. This would be an $85-100 room elsewhere but it was Labor Day Weekend in a resort town so still the cheapest place in town. I would and will stay there again as my work requires it.

WE loved the close proximity to the fabulous hot springs pool right across the street. they also offer a very cheap price to visit the hot springs. Tons of local shopping, restaurants ( delicious) and even galleries in close walking distance. The staff were all friendly and helpful, eager to make our stay great! Continental breakfast was nice. We also love that the hotel is still family owned and NOT part of a chain. the level of caring and service really shows that.
Steamboat is soooo beautiful!

Nice motel in walking distance to many shops and restaurants as well as the Old Town Hot Springs. Motel offers discount tickets to the hot springs.

Dry ice older hotel. Staff were great and very convenient to many restaurants and shops. Breakfast options were ‘minimal’ at best.

We love staying at the Rabbit Ears Motel. Staff is ultra-friendly, accomodations very comfortable, and we just discovered a wonderful Mexican restaurant five blocks from the motel (Vaqueros).

What a cute retro property right next to the heart of downtown Steamboat Springs. The front office staff were so friendly and helpful. Morning breakfasts were nice - mostly cereal, bagels/bread, hard boiled eggs, fruit, oatmeal. Nothing like eggs and bacon. But just enough to get our days going. There is a fridge and microwave in the rooms, and hairdryer. We walked to the evening rodeo, shopping and restaurants. Only minutes to the ski area and many bus stops to take you up there. They also provided towels to take to the Strawberry Park hot springs!

Great location on Lincoln Ave. Could walk to everywhere downtown
6.0
The location is great as you can walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel is on the main highway. The rooms are small. Hardly room for two pieces of luggage. Most annoying is the air conditioner. It is right next to bed. It is noisy. You need to run it full time, otherwise the room is uncomfortable.

Had dangerous sickness in family and hotel and hotels.com would not refund my money. Am considering not using hotels.com again as well as will never recommend it stay at Rabbit ears!

Old style motel that I often stay at because of great location. Rooms have been improved but bedding, carpets, bathroom still feels like it’s decades old. And breakfast is as weak as the coffee.
But I come back because you can walk to everything in town, and it’s right on the river.

This was a great place to stay. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river which was busy with people floating on inner tubes. The motel is also right next to a free natural warm spring rock bathing pool in the river. It is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious with a modern clean bathroom. The breakfast was good. It looks as though it would be very convenient for a skiing stay. Would definately stay here again.
