Good: Location is convenient, across from a grocery store, with restaurants nearby. Was relatively inexpensive until the clerk wanted to add cost per person, not just a flat rate for the same room.
Bad: Hotel is rundown and rooms are small. Not a great family place to stay, from the tight room, paper-thin walls, and creeky floors, to the lousy breakfast. There was not a single fruit or protein choice for breakfast. Bedding and mattresses were poor. Bathroom fixtures were broken; lots of damage to the walls and flooring throughout.
Overall: Even for the cost, I would stay elsewhere as a family. By yourself, perhaps worth the inconveniences.

This winter i stayed one nite here and to my dismay started the shower without heat- it took nearly 10 minutes for hot water to arrive to my showerhead and I was already resigned to take a quick cold shower. Even when the hot water came online, it quickly reduced to tepid, although way better than ice cold as it started. Also, dark long human hair strands were among my fresh towels and linens and sink - did not inspire cleanliness, especially for the $120 I paid for the room.

Clean and comfortable room. Good wifi signal and everything worked in the room. Breakfast was lacking with only offerings of toast, pre-packaged danish, instant oatmeal, and cereal. Friendly staff and the area seemed safe. Goof option for a moderately priced motel that's not far from an entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.

Loved the area. The room was good and been at a few hotels but this place stands out because the maids cleaned the room daily new towls new bedding. Cant wait to go back.

Budget Motel, has all the basics.
A noisy place in the morning. Doors slamming, hardwood floors in the corridors, staff running carts up and down. All doing good work but I would suggest door closers and a carpet runner in the corridors. Laundry room would be nice. For the price it is pretty good though.

Very convenient & comfortable place to stay when visiting Joshua Tree National Park. Plenty of stores & restaurants nearby.

We came to see a concert at Pioneertown and the hotel is well located for a trip up to Pappy and Harriet's. It's walking distance to restaurants and the Tiny Pony, a great dive bar down the street.

Good location. It was close to restaurants, grocery stores and Joshua Tree. It was a little dated and the hallway smelled like curry. The air-conditioner was on high but didn't really cool down. It might have been because it is summer. Overall good value for a quick trip.

This was a very reasonable, clean stay. I didn't like the stairs and the halls were very hot.

My stay was just ok. First off there are no elevators. The bed was comfortable. The room is sooooo outdated as far as furniture. The sink is way to low I felt like a child I had to bend over so low to use. There are hardly no plugs in the room. I had to go buy a 6 outlet wall plug to plug in my phone and watch charger and other things. The lights partly worked. I’ll stay else we’re next time.

I stayed here at Super 8, because a friend has previously stayed here and recommended it to me. It was my first time staying here. Although it is an older motel, overall, it has been kept up nicely. My room was nice, clean, and very spacious. I also like how they include a free breakfast with stay. I would definitely return here when back in the area again.

Hair in bath on floor from previous people.
Hair on floor throughout room. Hair dryer clogged with lint.bath fan gross and clogged with hair and lint.the rule of no guests having visitors is completely inhospitable.

Worn out room- tiny space. Thread bare chair, chipped furniture, sink handle hard to turn on. People above me walked EARLY and I couldn’t sleep due to sound of their feet and the squeak of the floor.

This is such a perfect place to go to Joshua Tree. It very closed to several restaurants and supermarket. You can get free flow of ice cube during summer and you get an intercontinental bfast (no butter for the bread but it's fine 😁). All in all, we are so pleased with our stay there.

This is a very average hotel. Staff was not as friendly as many we have visited. Beds appeared clean but sink was not. Room cooled nicely with a/c on. Really liked having 2 comfortable chairs and a table to sit at, as some hotels do not have either. Easy to find and across from a grocery store, which we needed.

Grear location for exploring Joshua Tree National Park. No frills motel that had everything you would need to crash for the night after a long day in the park.

I couldn't update my other review, but that's okay, because I have more to say. This place was located in good proximity to my concert destination, Pappy & Harriets. The hotel room was basic. The room appeared pretty clean. The bed was moderately comfortable. This big issues I had with this motel are the noise issues, room location, room 117, and the complete lack of customer service from the front desk guy. Maybe he own the place, I don't know. However, I got zero sleep my first night there due to the fact that there is no carpet, gaps under the doors, and I was put right across from the vending and ice machines, specifically after I had asked for a quiet location. In addition, there was a screaming toddler that woke me up several times during the night, from the room across the hall! That's how mad the lack of privacy/the room insulation is. They second day, my keys stopped working so I was forced tovgo to the office, where the same man (who gave me the bad room location) was working. I explained that keys weren't working and decided to bring up the noise issues. He copped a HUGE attitude, said "it's not MY baby, I can't do anything about it!" Well, it IS your job to treat each guest with respect. He said, like 10 times, I'll give you a full refund and you can go somewhere else!!" After I explained that I don't have the time to move hotels, he kept giving me an attitude. At checkout, he mentioned my bad review & ramped up his aggressive behavior. I won't go back.

Literally the LOUDEST place I have ever stayed!! I asked the guy at check in for a quiet room. He gave me the room next the the vending and ice machines!! A screaming baby across the hall literally kept me awake all night. There are gsps under the doors and zero insulation. I can hear everything. If you like to get your sleep, do not stay here! I am so upset, U wasted my money on this place. Awful.

The whole facility needs a major upgrade. Almost everything has been worn out. Breakfast is a joke, no eggs, fruit, yogurt, or any sort of meat. Expedia should not list it as a place with breakfast included. Definitely not worth what they charge for.

Staff is very nice and helpful, but rooms are not really clean, coffee pot and lights plugged in to an extension cord that was to short and 2 of the outlets did not work,

It’s a place to land in yucca valley considering the limited options. The hotel is really old and needs updates. Our hotel room floor was so filthy we kept shoes on. Apparently being in the lobby to do a Zoom meeting (I had headphones) is not preferred- I was asked to go do the meeting in my room. The lobby is small so I guess it makes sense but someone was napping so I didn’t think much of being in the lobby.
The beds were fine and we checked for bed bugs. The bathroom was okay - not very clean at all. Breakfast was typically continental- nothing special.
Works for our needs. Wouldn’t stay again if I could avoid it.
