Great place for an overnight stay halfway between the Channel and the Med. Not the most modern or luxurious, but clean, with friendly staff, easy public parking and just a few yards from Beaune town centre. Have stayed here several times before, and will be back next time we're passing.

The hotel was in a great location. However the front desk employee was extremely rude. No attempt to help with in, eye rolling etc. The hotel is pretty good but she really leaves a sour taste.

Historic building on great location in heart of Beaune and convenient to everything. One staff member clearly impatient and made comment about why we came to France and don’t speak French despite our best attempts. Rest of the staff was great.

A person at reception not helpful

Perfect location and professional staff. We loved our room with its antique beams.

Great location for this property, however room very small, dated and shower overflowed.

On the first night of a 2-night stay, the fire alarm went off twice due to heavy rain and lightning. We were evacuated into the dark rainy night at 3:30 in the morning and told we should not plan to come back the next night. We booked another hotel the following night. When we asked for a refund for the 2 nights, they said they could do nothing. Then they agreed to send a wire transfer for 1 night. That was 8 days ago and I never received the refund.

Everything was just perfect

Difficult town if you need a taxi. No taxis at train station. Breakfast was good. Hotel was not expecting us and had difficulty finding our reservation. Air conditioning works well.

The hotel is in a great location, and was quite comfortable.
After a day's travelling we really didn't need the disdainful, obnoxious attitude of the receptionist. When asked in French if she spoke English, the answer in French was "do you speak French". We don't appreciate that sort of a slapdown in a tourist location. Won't be back.

Excellent. My go to place in Beaune. Central, clean, comfortable, friendly and inexpensive. Close to the best restaurants in town (including L’Air Du Temps almost next door) and across the street from the marvellous Petit Cave where excellent wines can be had for budget prices. Highly recommended little hotel. Not posh but great value.

Nice and clean hotel. Bit of an issue with the door lock that didn't really work from the outside.
Wonderful location

We booked one night in Beaune as an overnight stop on a long journey. Beaune was recommended as a beautiful little town and it truly was one of the loveliest little medieval towns that we have visited. Great selection of restaurants and the one next to the hotel was amazing.
The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful. We phoned in the morning to say we were unlikely to arrive before the reception shut at 9pm and they noted this and tried calling us to check about our arrival in the evening.
The hotel is in a wonderful position inside the old town, close to the main squares and attractions.
Buffet breakfast was also very good, full continental plus eggs, sausage and bacon.
The room was lovely though a little small.

Disappointed by this hotel. Booked and paid for a "comfort" room but room (209) did not resemble the illustrations. It was only just big enough for the bed and furnishing identical to "classic" photos. Curtains were not properly finished - surplus length was held up with safety pins). 2 small pillows plus a useless small cushion for each person on the bed. Bathroom extremely small and shower floor had no rim so the rest of the bathroom flooded almost immediately with standing water puddle all night. "Trendy" black painted walls combined with lights that turn themselves off meant that corridor to the room was almost pitch dark until a switch could be found.
The hotel is well located, breakfast was OK and the few staff we encountered polite, but we won't be back.

Lovely hotel right in the middle of the town. Old building which has been sympathetically restored to a good standard but still leaving original features such as oak beams. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast had a good range including cooked options. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice room in nice location. Good breakfast. Functional air conditioning but could be easier to use. No coffee in the room, which was fine for me. Very helpful staff.

Nicely renovated hotel. It now has an elevator. Nice exposed beams in room's ceiling. Free parking is available at end of block in a public parking facility. It was full, I had to pay €5 at meter for overnight parking on street. Location is great... walk to everything in Beaune. Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. Good rates. I am satisfied.

Not the best hotel in town but affordable and located very central

Superb location. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good. Only two minor issues; the soundproofing between the rooms was not good and an external disco takes place close to the hotel on Saturday night.
