Rooms were updated nicely but the grounds needed attention badly.

Dislike,
Room had sandy floor & beach full of sea weed along with seagull poop on the chairs!!

First time back; last visit 2022. Property renovations and updates are great. Off-season rates are good. My only complaint is the resort fee charge in the off-season. There was no beverage or food service at the pool or beach (had to go inside to the bar/restaurant), no towel or beach chair service on the beach (again had to go up to the indoor pool), no beverage service at the pavilion tent ... so why/for what must I pay a resort fee?

Resort is beautiful. We had an ocean view room. We really enjoyed the pool and beach. Our room was very very clean. Mail service attentive and friendly The bathrooms are very small but ok. Location was great 3 minutes to Route 28.

Everything was great! The only thing was the bed was extremely hard and I woke up with back pain. Beautiful location. Walking distance to skippers restaurant which is amazing! Everything was clean and tidy.

Overall, we loved Red Jacket Beach Resort. Property was just redone and there was a lot to do for the kids, music at night was also a plus. Overall, very relaxing week. Breakfast buffet was not good, but enjoyed some lunch options. Mostly ate at nearby restaurants.

We arrived at the property at 10AM, hoping to check-in early and use the pool/beach. Were told that because the hotel was full, we would not have access to the property until 1PM. In over thirty years of staying property, we (and our extended family) have never had

Staff were very friendly. Bath tub was clogged, maintenance came quickly and fixed it. Overall, very good experience, would go back again.

I had higher expectations for this resort given its rating and the cost and was quite disappointed.
Upon checking in we were not given any information on use of the bicycles or where the jacuzzi (if they actually have one??).
Internet was non existent in our room (and others according to other guests). You either have to go to the beach or stand outside your room overlooking the parking lot to get wifi service. Informed front desk of the poor service and was told there was nothing they could do, it was the provider.
Only one restaurant at the resort which is a large open space so extremely noisy given all the families with small children. If you are travelling with teens I would look for another resort. This place seems to be quite popular with families with young kids. Can get extremely noisy.
Only ate in the restaurant once as it was too noisy and over priced. I found this resort to be quite over priced with everything. Bought a coffee in the morning at the Crow's Nest -$6.35 for one coffee.
Facility was supposed to be non smoking, there was someone smoking a cigar every night below my room so could not keep screen open and someone smoking outside the room- I'm not sure they bother to enforce the non smoking.
Overall experience- I would not go back here again. Also not much to see or so on immediate surrounding area. Closer to Dennis, West Yarmouth or Provincetown would be better

This is my 2nd visit , upon reservation I called and asked to have a ground floor since I knew no elevator and I have a stroller. I called again at the same day before arriving to request the ground . Upon check in , I was told that all ground floor has been taken sorry you have to go to the first floor with a sharp stair with a stroller. I am not sure why they take the age of kids if they don’t care where they accommodate them.
After checking in , I went to the room and the beds sheets were dirty and had hairs on it.
I called front desk at 330 pm to have someone changed it and no one show up until 7pm.
Trying to take a shower , I found out that the drain in the shower was clogged. I called maintenance and it was fixed in 20 minutes.
Parking is big issue, they charged me 25$ per day and most times I have to find someone leaving to steel his spot especially after 6pm. They should never charge for parking or they must give you a parking spot for the entire visit .
Beside all these issues, everything else was perfect. Clean pool area , clean beach area , very family friendly. Staff were very friendly. Some more activity are requested.
Hopefully my 3rd visit will become better than my second one.

We looked at several options to stay and we're very happy we ended up with the red jacket, the place was newly renovated any felt very clean and fresh. The staff were all very kind. The private beach was nice. It was a rainy morning and i especially appreciated the fact that the staff was out early to clean and dry the chairs. Overall great stay. Would come again.

This property is simply wonderful. Kind and caring staff, beautiful grounds and of course being right on the ocean are all great things. Stayed five days with two older daughters and 9 year old grandson. We'll be back next year for sure, with other kids and grandkids. Giving five stars for a five star resort. The location on the beach is a nice convenience! We were able to get 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella at 9:30 a.m., but observed other guests at 10:00 a.m. struggle to secure lounge chairs and were told that no umbrellas were available. This seems both odd and unfortunate given that this is considered a "resort". The resort itself is geared for families with young children. The dining options are very limited. There is only one menu used throughout the property. There have been some updates to the premise to give it a refreshed look, but it's not worth the $800/night that we paid. We won't be returning to the Red Jacket Inn on Cape Cod.

Too noisy. Weird smell in the corridors. Food in the restaurant not good.

Great facilities and options for kids.mattresses were old and uncomfortable pillows were hard. Doesn’t seem like they bought new bedding when they renovated. No handicap bar or anything to grab on in the shower. Though I understand the practicality, I would have liked carpetiang or rugs.

We were very happy at the Red Jacket and will be renting larger accommodations next year.

Not enough chair and umbrellas for paying guests at beach, just awful.
Room clean is lacking.
Mini fridge doesn’t cool and definitely lots of kids running and screaming not peaceful at any time.
Not worth $500 nightly rate.
I will not ge back nor can i recommend it to anyone.

The sliding glass door to the room was broken and the room was on the ground floor. I was charged a parking fee of $25.00 a night. I find this unreasonable for a $500.00 a night room.

I visit every year, but I was so surprised when I visited this time without knowing that it had been remodeled. It was so clean and comfortable that I really liked it. Before that, I visited every year and was a little disappointed with the facilities compared to the price, but this time I was so satisfied that I was able to come back.

This place was nice but we’re hoping for a bit more out of the price we payed for a resort. The dinning menu is small and expensive and only one restaurant open all week. The outdoor pool said it closes at dusk but it was always closed so much earlier. The room was very nice but the floor was covered in sand. The beach was very nice however and an easy walk from your room and lots of chairs. Overall we had a nice time, but will most likely choose another place if we come back to visit.

The property was very nice but could have had more activities for guest.

Right on the ocean

There were 2 nights that I was awoken with heavy footsteps above me, which persisted and disrupted my rest. Also, socks that I was wearing collected floor dust on my first night so I didn't wear another pair while in my room. I think that a portion of the flooring was unvacuumed.
I don't want these negative comments to be construed as my not enjoying me stay, but rather to be a constructive solution to improving the stay of others. In fact, I very much enjoyed the rest of the Red Jacket and would recommend it. Thank you!

Super nice area with great amenities. Newly renovated so rooms were amazing. Hotel was a bit of a ghost town week after MDW so not a lot seemed open. Great experience would come back. Wish the daily parking fee was more known before coming.
