The hotel is old. But I liked it. Good prive. Great location. I liked the fact that it was a historic hotel. But not the best contidion. Overall. I would stay here again.

The Property is very old. The bed sheets does not smell good. It actually smells like sweat. The carpet is very old. The worst part is parking. It is in a narrow street with limited parking. Breakfast is ok.

Older but classic. Spacious rooms with air conditioning and heating. No coffee available in lobby.

Otima condicao e valor para o hotel, apenas achamos que o café da manhã poderia ser um pouco melhor. Poderia ter mais opções de fruta por exemplo.

I enjoyed my stay at the Lancaster very much. It's a bit of an older hotel, and there was just a tinge of shabbiness in the room, but just enough to add a little character. Everything was squeaky clean and the bedding was super comfortable. Breakfast had more choices than I could experience in my three days. I could eat healthy food or I could decadent looking cake. The location is also perfect for using public transportation. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

HOTEL MUITO BOM

We didn't have a double bed as advertised. Instead, we had two single beds put together to form a double. As a consequence, on the first night, I slept in the gap and have had a sore shoulder since.
I complained on several occasions the next day but was told that there was nothing they could do.

We felt like we were in London when we entered Lancaster Hotel. Classic European style hotel in the heart of modern Curitiba is difficult to imagine. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Not too much street noise. Excellent selection at breakfast. Wifi in room can be spotty, but the downstairs lounge has great connection. Staff are friendly and helpful, some English are spoken, which are appreciated. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of the city just a few blocks from the walk street (XV of November). Everything you need is right there. Rooms were nice and there was an excellent continental breakfast included in the price of the room. The hotel staff was very attentive to our needs and went out of their way to help and make our stay a good one. I have no reservations in recommending this hotel. This is my second time to stay at the Lancaster Hotel.

Very avarage hotel, nothing specially positive. However the worst was moskitos. There was every thing fine the first nigth however the secound nigth I have big number of moskitos in my apartment and I could not sleap untill I kill them at about 3am, and that I learn why. There was plenty of them at the coridir and in elevator the cleaning leady left the dor open for about 20 mins when whe was cleaning the room. Do not leave the door open when you clean the room!

My sister and I had a horrible stay: in fact, we cut the two-day stay short a day, because we couldn't stay there any longer.
To start, my sister had a broken foot, and due to that, we needed to move to a room that had a walk-in shower, as opposed to a bathtub.
When we moved to the "new" room, the bedskirts and the duvet had small holes in them, and the room looked pretty gross. I asked one of the hotel employees whether there were replacement bedding items, and she said "well, if you don't like, there are other hotels around".
We ended up spending the night there. To our surprise,
they misinformed us about the breakfast time, so as we arrive at the dining room,
the employees were already removing items, as we were "late" for breakfast.
When we confronted the receptionist about that, she said that "all the three of us understood it incorrectly": a rather unlikely situation.
That was the cherry on top, and we decided to go to any other hotel, as we wouldn't stay there another minute. Since we were at Curitiba, a place that does not have "hail-in" cabs, we asked them to call us a taxi.
Of course, they left us waiting for ONE HOUR before getting a cab. The most interesting part is that meanwhile, 3 cabs arrived for other customers going to the airport...
Anyway, I suggest you stay away from this place.

I had a group of colleagues in for four nights during a trade show in Curitiba. We found the location to be ideal with plenty of good restaurants nearby, as was the Expo Unimed where the show was held. Taxis were always available right outside. We were able to walk during all hours of the day and night and felt completely safe in the surrounding neighborhoods. The hotel itself looks historic in the lobby, but the rooms are very up to date. There are big walk in showers with Italian marble walls and floors, a granite vanity, air conditioning and a desk to work at. The rooms are not huge, but they are certainly large than those in Europe. The internet signal worked great, as did the AC, although the windows opened which was nice for fresh air. The staff was excellent and spoke English. They were attentive and took care of every question and need we had. Finally, the breakfast was quite good and offered hot foods such as eggs and bacon, fresh fruit, sliced meats, and a variety of juices and breads. I will be back in two years for the next show and will definitely book here again.

Great Manhattan style hotel in a kind of shifty neighborhood but it's only a few blocks away from the nicer area. Outside presentation isn't too appealing but the inside is good. Everything worked as it should and the king size bed was comfy. Breakfast was kind of gross as is most breakfasts in Brazilian hotels.
You can't beat the price. I'd stay here again. Be sure to check out the Oscar Niemeyer museum while you're in Curitiba. It's the best thing going.
Also check out Scavollo. It's the best restaurant in Curitiba and it's only a few blocks away. It's large enough not to have the stupid waits other high end restaurants have. A+
