Manager of hotel was not helpful at all. Very short and not interested in helping. The side door to the hotel was propped open with a wooden 2x4 most of the time we were there at hotel, day and night. Stairwell was very dirty. We saw a prostitute one morning, and a drug deal on another occasion because the bbq area is on the side of the building where we entered. During our three day stay we only used our entry key one time to get in because it was propped open. Having the door propped open made us feel uneasy. Kitchen sink would only drain if the garbage disposal was turned on. When using the dishwasher the water filled the entire sink and almost overflowed. There was no dishwashing soap or detergent when we arrived. We were told that we would need to take out our own trash since rooms were not being cleaning unless you had a long term stay. Tried to use the computer at the front desk and an Sonesta Computer error message came up while I was on the computer. I pleaded with the manage to help me reboot the computer or check to make sure that my email info was no longer on the computer. He emphatically would not help me. He said the computer has never worked, although it did for a short while. The television cable did not work for 2 1/2 days of our 3 day stay. Only 1 coffee cup.

Excellent value and very clean, friendly service, quiet area. Neighbors above us slammed the door and stomped around all night, not sure if they were extra loud or if walls are thin so that might be something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper. I would definitely stay again. Totally recommend.

Horrible nasty place checked in and right back out with in 10 minutes. Opened the kitchen cabinet and had roaches in it. Bed sheets were yellow, fine recommend this place at all

Staff was excellent. Tiera was very welcoming. Stayed for 3 weeks. Only ONE washer out of FOUR working. Only TWO dryers out of SIX working almost the entire time I was there. No other laundromats nearby! Quite a few long time residents who are not travelers. Most were very nice. I chose this hotel for location and because it had a kitchen. Room, bath and kitchen were very clean. Dishes and pans decent. Bedding and towels brand new. Table chairs were grimy looking. I was disappointed to encounter ROACHES. I went out and bought roach killer and disinfectant. I sprayed the entire unit including cabinets and drawers. I did not want to bring any back home! It also put me off cooking. Kept all food in frig or freezer, except canned. Very careful to never leave food out or any crumbs on counter or floor. All garbage well contained. Lots of eateries nearby. Good Dennys right there but the point was not have to eat out all the time. They did spray my unit too but didn't alleviate my hesitation. I paid in full upfront so I wasn't able to move to another hotel. There also is NO bus service in that area! You need a car as it is too hot to walk. It was 98 most of the time and no pool. In future that's a requirement. You really need one in that heat. Safe area. No riff raff or homeless, no graffiti or squealing tires, very elegant neighborhood homes in the area.

This place is old nasty disgusting and reminds me of a halfway house. The housekeeping even came in my room and stole my towels. The carpet feels like you’re walking on straight up nastiness. Nothing worked overall unsafe filling. Staff especially the manager was disagreeable and course with everybody they come in touch with. Go somewhere else it’s not worth the 10 bucks you’ll save.

The property was unclean. The towels looked used. The bed was not made well and clean well. Worst of it all was there were so many cockroach. I saw the biggest roach in my life there. It was the size of a walnut, scared the hell out of my wife when it jump out running around the bathroom. There were little ones as well, everytime the lights goes off and turned back on, you will see many little roach running around the kitchen. If you stay here make sure all your bags are closed so you don’t accidentally bring any of these roach back home. Worst place I have ever stayed. The service was not nice either. Everytime you ask for something, they respond with an attitude like you are bothering them. This is really bad place to stay. Avoid if you can.

This was my first time visiting this facility. The staff was super friendly and the young receptionist from South Carolina was awesome. She was very accommodating to my family and I as we had multiple rooms with different dates and needs. She understood what needed and was ultra patient. Team & staff members like this provide you with a memorable stay!

The property smells very moldy and my room had a bug infestation. There was nothing they could do during the first night because they were sold out. I changed rooms and that room had a very moldy smell as well. Further, the invoice shows parking charges although I didn't use their parking! Terrible service, unsanitary and overcharging.

We booked a room through Hotels.com for the following night due to power outages after the hurricane. We then learned Sonesta didn't have power either. Sonesta refused to honor our request for a refund because the cancellation was the morning we were supposed to stay that night. Not happy about losing $160 in addition to a lot of money spent to cover hurricane damage to our home.

The early part of July 5th, the young lady at the front desk could've been a bit more courteous and not so sarcastic. My previous experience to this one; another young lady that claimed to be the GM of the property could've been easier to approach as well. Also, there was a roach found in my room but I'll take part of the blame for that since I did leave food out overnight. Otherwise I have no other major complaints.

Didn’t know they did not have a pool until check in. Also they do not to breakfast. Housekeeping will not help you with anything in your room while you stay. You have to take out your own trash you have to go get your own towels each day. Roaches in room and in the hallway. Trash can over full every night. Took 12 hours and asking multiple employees to have them refill our soap in the shower. Also I was blindsided at check in and told you get charged 5 dollars a day for parking. I will never stay at this hotel again!!!

Cons: The bed in the so-called "king room" was only a standard queen size, and there were cockroaches. The room had a stale odor, and the furnishings were cheap and in disrepair. Pros: The price was budget-friendly.

I didn’t even stay I checked in , went to the room looked at it throughly and left . It was just so nasty a dead roach was in the restroom & a bunch on dead flies in the window. It just felt so dirty I couldnt let my kids sleep there I checked out within 3 mins & they didn’t want to give me my money back!!
