The heater blasted a bit too much so I turned it off over night and was pretty chilly in the morning but that's my fault. Drafty under the room door to outside was not, however.
Great front desk staff for checkin and helpful dining suggestions. Great location right in the heart of the cute historic district.

Road noise for our room was fairly loud at times (stayed on Cedar street side of hotel in Bldg 1). Room was clean, renovated, great amenities. Pool was closed for the season but the whirlpool was open.

Cedars is our preferred place to stay in Sandpoint. Amazing beds! Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Close to everything.
1.5
Three buildings within two blocks
Unsafe walking as old tavern between buildings
Friends put in third building with pet and hard to park
2.5
Nice, clean and centrally located. Comfy bed! Only complaint is it is 3 different buildings so we had to walk to another block to get to the building where the jacuzzi was at, then walk back in the cold. I would have booked a different hotel has i known that because that was the amenity we wanted most. 😔

The location is ideal, the bed and pillows very comfortable. Large screen tv and chairs for watching. Avoid room 574 as we had issues with not having hot water off and on the entire week of our stay. The breakfast provided is that of a budget hotel.
2.5
It was a very nice stay other than the exterior noise from the traffic. Earplugs reduced the sound to a moderate level. There are several restaurants within walking distance. A lightening storm passed over while we ate and it included hail but our car was in the hotel garage so no damage. Later we even saw a rainbow from our balcony.

Well located. Decent continental breakfast. Clean and comfy. Fun little dive bar attached but couldn't hear it in rooms.
2.5
Hotel layout is over three buildings and the pool is outside. The front desk lady was awesome at walking us through where everything was.

This is a very nice hotel with a very friendly staff. Very noisy, so if sleep is important to you, you may want to reconsider..

Great staff ,helpful & friendly girls working at check in and housekeeping.

I think this is a pretty average property. The room itself was mostly clean, but it looked like it was not vacuumed, and I kept getting particles of stuff stuck to my feet that were left behind from the last guest. Additionally, since Covid and having housekeeping services cut back, it just makes the stay feel much less comfortable. Being in a room for three days and not being offered room service is ridiculous. I could understand every other day but every third day is unacceptable. We stayed three days so that meant our room was not serviced at all during this time. I might as well stay in an Airbnb if there is no additional services. This was a huge disappointment and I probably will not stay in a hotel that does not offer room services in the future.

Fantastic location in the heart of Sandpoint. Loved the vibe with Connie’s grill having live music in the supper hour.

Great location. Staff are super nice, friendly and helpful. Restaurants are great and whatever you pick, will be delicious but our favorite is Baxter’s.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Room was clean. There are nearby restaurants that are within easy walking distance. Overall the stay at Cedar Street Hotel was very pleasant and comfortable.

Really spread out. Dining room quite a walk from room, uncovered.

This place had both interior and exterior walls that were paper thin. All night I could hear the corner stop light beeping, all the cars, and the next room person doing their morning constitutional. No sleep. If you are going to a hotel for sleep, this is not the place!

Room was great. The only thing I had an issue was with the hot tub was across the street from our room. It would have been been nice to have a robe or something to go across the street. It was also in a separate area from the pool. No real complaints.

Easy walk to dining or walk to the beach area. Or a quick 4 min drive to beach with your gear to spend the day at the beach. Or spend the day at the pool! Great economical, safe, clean, updated hotel with amazing staff.

Staff was amazing! The floors were questionable in cleanlieness. Breakfast bar was alright. 7/10 for that. Overall I'd stay here again. However, didnt have the wow factor. Pretty basic.

Was a great property to stay at. We didn’t use the amenities because we were too tired but they looked awesome. It is in a great location.

Didn’t like the room location spread in three locations
And the bathroom shower dial was very difficult to get to work!

Definitely not quite cause of the bars. But white noise is the best always

Very nice stay.

The photos of this property are misleading.
Our room was dark, run down and full of flying insects. We were on a main floor - with the handle for the patio door lock removed. Did not feel safe.
The pool was 2 buildings away.
Staff and service were friendly.
For the price we paid, was very disappointed. Old folding closet doors that were almost impossible to close. One thin bar of soap was offered in the bathroom - it felt more like a motel.
We won’t be staying here again.

Very clean, comfortable, great service. Easy walking distance from downtown. Will be back!

Only stayed the one night as we were passing through - very clean, comfortable accommodations. Ample parking. Room is spacious. Breakfast was available, prepackaged foods, some fruit, coffee.
3.0
Walking distance to shops & beach. Just don’t leave anything in your room when you check out, won’t be there when you call to have them check lost & found!
