I have stay here before and it is one of cleanest hotels in Statesville

I came from a 10 hour trip the guy that checked me in did not give me any information about anything I had to ask a bunch of questions to figure out breakfast or room arrangement. I went to my first room and smelt a bit off . There was cigarette stains on the jacuzzi and I thing a ball of mold that they continue to paint over ? I CLEANED the jacuzzi myself due to it having dirt and idk what else in there . Tried to turn on the jacuzzi part that makes the jacuzzi a jacuzzi and it did not work mind you I just cleaned this entire jacuzzi off of a 10 hour drive . I could’ve showered but I paid extra for a reason . So my souse goes over and tells the person and then they come about 5 mins later to tell me that they can change the room if I want ….. so I was like yes of course . Went to the the other room across the hall and I can smell it the moment I walked in there .. so at this point I’m just tranna bubble bath with my man ! So I looked at the jacuzzi and I had to clean this one as well but this one has the cement pieces falling out from the sides and the shower was dirty ??? Weird, we were just trying to to stay positive so I cleaned it as well and decided to take care of it in the morning. I spoke to them and they said since i need to go through where i booked ! Crazy , now in here trying to get Expedia customer service on the phone ! It was okay but it was not the money I paid for it at all .

The breakfasts were good with decent options. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed a window seat which was quite comfortable while having my morning coffee. All the staff was kind and helpful.

This is me 2nd time staying here and both times was very peaceful, comfortable ,clean, with great staff 👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great Value. Close to the MTB trails at Lake Norman

The desk clerk was not very friendly. Ice machine on 3rd floor did not work.

Price was great, carpet needed a good cleaning or replacement but again for the price I dont want to complain.

Overall property facilities and amenities dirty. The carpets in common area and room are filthy.

Its a smaller hotel but very quiet. Our king suite was nice. It was very clean. It was very easy to get on and off interstate 77.

Towels were stained and yellow. 2 small pillows to each bed. Everything else fine

Tv didn’t work

After a long drive and having just had dinner the plan was to check in and watch TV for 4 hours and relax and go to bed. We checked in and immediately noticed the TV was out, which they HAD to know the TV service was out when we checked in moments before. We called down to the desk and long story short, desk person finally told us the whole hotel had no TV and we could check out and get refunded. We got downstairs and the desk person said she just got off the phone with her manager he said “no refund.” Ridiculous!

The sheets were so worn there were spots that were see-through. Front desk would not bring new top sheet until I brought worn sheet to them Ceiling above shower water damaged, but front desk personnel was adamant that the room was is perfect condition. Front desk did not believe there were 3 cobwebs in the bathroom. I had to make the front desk come back to room 129 (I believe) to verify I was telling the truth. My roommate requested a free bottle of water when we checked out and even that was too much to ask for.

I have difficulty understanding staff for whom English is a second language. We booked a handicapped room, but did not get one. However, the room we had was very nice. There are no restaurants nearby, but a nice choice about four miles away.

It was nice friendly service just I was told I would get my 50 dollars security deposit back in two to three business days but I still haven't received the Money back yet

Easy and convenient 1 night stop

Even before entering my room, I was charged a $50 "security deposit" to offset any "damages". I was then placed in a room with a fist-sized hole in the wall and a smashed glass picture frame (glass still on the carpet). I reported it to the front desk and they placed me in a different room. The clerk stated that he was "uncertain" when I would get my deposit back.

Elevator was old, need a face lift. Hand written note on panel to press button to open door was of concern, we did not have a problem.

Room was spacious, clean. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good. Have stayed here twice now and will again when I travel north.

Just gross very dirty would not recommend.

Do not come here unless you want to be ripped off. Had to give a 100 dollar deposit, only got 50 of it for an unknown, unexplained reason there was absolutely nothing wrong with my room at all I even took my garbage out with me when I left. Be the last time I stay here

The lobby and elevator area needed some paint work. Hallway carpets are dirty. Room was clean. Breakfast area ok.
