Nice location and good equipment luxury rooms. Unfortunately we got a room outside of the main building around 5min walk with a view which was not that exciting as we expected. So if you are booking a Birch room, you will not be located to the canal.
But great hotel with great service.

We enjoyed an excellent stay at the Pillars, would recommend for anyone staying in Fort Lauderdale. Note there is a lot of construction around the way so the pool area was quite noisy during the day but that did not bother us too much. Would stay again.

Great location. Walkable to the beach. On site parking is included with the price of your room which is a big plus. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating and I would highly recommend this hotel over many others in the area.

It was great experience staying at The Pillars Hotel and Club. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Gui Concalves and Carmen Gonzalez were a pleasure to talk to and help made my stay incredible. Looking forward to the next time.

Fabulous property with outstanding service!

We recently stayed at The Pillars for a ‘staycation’, living only :10 min away. We booked last minute, arrived a little early, had no reservations at the restaurant and were welcomed like VIP Family.
This hotel is historical, tucked away from the main beaches of Fort Lauderdale, offering a western view of the waterway, downtown and stunning sunsets.
Dinner was healthy, elegant and fresh with Floribbean flavors with European accents. The Staff was exceptional - the hotel flows like a well run home. If you want attention, every need will be met. If you are happy to make your own way, you’ll love the privacy and quiet Mi Casa Su Casa vibe.

Small but cute!

We stayed at The Pillars Hotel for 3 nights ahead of boarding a cruise. From the outside the hotel looks small and unassuming but inside is really lovely and beautifully appointed.
Our room overlooked the very pretty pool area. The room wasn’t large but had everything that we needed and the bed was very comfortable. We had a small table and 2 chairs outside on the shared balcony walkway to sit and relax or read a book.
We took breakfast in the hotel for one day of our stay. We sat right by the water with a fantastic view. The breakfast is chosen from an à la carte menu and is freshly prepared.
We also ate outside for dinner on one evening and saw the sun setting. The restaurant here is fabulous with guests dining who aren’t staying here, it is that good. For a special treat, it is worth the money.

Beautiful little boutique hotel. Excellently maintained building and property, and the service and staff was fantastic. Location is great. Highly recommend this place.

Room was lovely and spacious very well decorated and very clean. we had a fabulous view of the water. Staff on the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beach and the back of the hotel is on the water.

Our stay at the Pillar’s Birch House exceeded our expectations. The property was an oasis. The lush landscaping made us feel like we were on a private getaway even though it was walking distance from the Ft Lauderdale strip. The room was very modern and well kept. We stayed at the Birch House which was maybe 150 yards away from the main hotel and I would choose this location each time. We still had full access to the bar and the members only restaurant, but the house only had 6 rooms which made for a very quiet and relaxing stay. They also have free self parking which was great since parking for the beach was $30-$40 a day. 5-star boutique hotel with a 5-star staff.

The hotel is beautiful and the view with the sun going down is amazing.

I didn't like the sandwich that I ate. After that I've decided to not have meals in the property. Other than that it was an amazing place to stay.

This is an awesome hotel! Staff are incredible and my room was huge! 1 block from the beach. I will definitely be back!

THE PILLARS has been my favorite stay for the past 12 years. Off the beach but on the intercoastal it is a quiet luxurious experience. The service is the best while also seeming so personal and friendly. The best.

Great small luxury hotel near alot of restaurants and the beach.
The only issue I have is the construction of a high rise right in front of the hotel. I wish I knew when I reserved because it really was annoying when trying to relax at the pool.

We stayed in the Birch House which I believe has been recently renovated. The room was beautiful, conveniently located and ver quiet. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Staff and service was fantastic, food and bar was great, room service for breakfast was excellent, beautiful and private right on the water, the location is also very close to the board walk. My wife and I stayed here one night and after deciding to stay another night in fort Lauderdale we came right back to the Pillars Hotel!

This was the cutest hotel ever. The staff was super sweet and attentive. So close to the beach. My only regret I didn’t stay longer to enjoy the pool and beach. I will definitely book again and relax.

What an amazing little hotel right on the Intracoastal Waterway. The staff is beyond helpful! Would stay here again!

I like this hotel because it is neat and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can walk a few minutes to the beach. The hotel is by the lake and the scenery is beautiful. The best part is the free parking. The only thing is that if the hotel could offer a complimentary breakfast buffet , that would be best and convenient for the guests.

Property is getting a bit dated. Other than that we love the hotel. The staff is fantastic with the manager Carmen G always on top of things, Ali is great at the bar, John the server (alias Joseph) etc. The food is fabulous. Not our first stay and certainly not our last. Highly recommended.

Rooms are nicely appointed. The restaurant is a real plus.

This is a small “posh” hotel. We understood this and enjoyed the pool and deck chairs daily. Pool hours were sun rise to sunset, but had to listen and watch the preparations for their evening dinner guests as we were still enjoying the pool at 4:00 pm every day. They then began seating people for meals at 5:00 on the patio. The dinner guests went through the pool area as we attempted to enjoy the pool yet. The staff at the desk could warn their guests at check in that they really preferred paying guests of the hotel to leave the pool because that is what we felt. The dining customers seemed to get priority.

Employees are incredibly kind and attentive. Bed and linens-perfect. Cleanliness outstanding. Its been a while since we've stayed anywhere with this level of professionalism at every turn. We will recommend to friends and we will return!
