Had a wonderful stay at the Savoy Hotel in Buenos Aires. The blend of historic charm and modern comfort was perfect. The suite that we had were elegant and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Great location, close to many attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

The savoy hotel is a charming and picturesque hotel that affords its guests understated comfort and relaxing luxury. The front desk staff is happy to assist with your needs and were helpful when I needed transportation, luggage storage, and room support. The bellhops were cordial and always willing to hail a cab/taxi, store luggage, and open the door for you. Room service provided adequate cleanliness and timeliness. Unfortunately, the continental breakfast was a bit of a disappointment and the lobby lounge was lackluster. During our stay we observed several customers in the lounge walkout apoplectic about the lack of service as well as scarcity of items remaining on the menu (i.e. They have several dessert items on the menu however only 2 were available during our stay).
It should be noted that in Buenos Aires you are a guest and the language is Spanish; no exceptions. Having said that I encountered some communication barriers, that had I spoken Spanish better, could have resolved. This was a fairly common theme everywhere I went again Buenos Aires you'll need to learn more Spanish as English is exceedingly rare; nothing a few hand gestures cannot resolve. One other issue was our room location. I believe the room service quarters and carts were stored near our room or something as in the early morning I heard loud banging every morning and as the hotel seems older you could anyone running down the hall and having a full conversation next door.

This is a nice historic hotel in the heart of the old city. But, there are nicer places to stay which are also close to hop-on and off bus routes.

It was a grand vintage like hotel that was very elegant. Staff was amazing and the dining was awesome we had 2 very reasonably priced city tour and tango & dinner outing. Very pleased with my stay.

This was a great location and property. In a safe area and gated at night. Rooms were lovely, amazing shower and breakfast buffet delicious.

Great historic hotel. Nice rooms. Slightly above Average breakfast both hot and cold items. Large lounge. Updates needed for lounge furniture. Chairs in need of new cushions. Good area for daytime walking but not at night-several homeless in area.
Hotel was beautiful and staff helpful. Concierge not very knowledgeable just wants to sell tours.

Actual hotel is nice, the area is in a busy part of town, food quality was poor. No room service or communication to reception from room ..... phone didn't work?? Some of the staff were helpful and friendly. Value for money was good.

A hotel well past it’s best and in need of refurbishment or at least a good clean up.

We have enjoyed the Savoy hotel with every visit, the staff have all ways been able to help with every request.we have made. Unlike previous visits we would avoid room 219 due to excess noise. But we will not hesitate to make the Savoy our prefered hotel in future visits.

The hotel is well restored and many of the public spaces are stunning examples of neo baroque architecture. The rooms are a little on the small side (which is typical of the period) however they are clean and well appointed. The air conditioning is not typically what we would expect from a North American perspective as it takes some time for the system to cool the room.
Overall - the hotel is well located downtown in a safe clean area. Good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

Our transfer was over 30 minutes late. Not a great way to start our trip as we were so tired. But room was lovely. Breakfast nice. Beautiful property

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. There is so much to see around the city and all within walking distance, but public transportation is also close by for your convenience. There are many places to eat and shop too. Just a wonderful experience.

Checkin staff was extremely friendly and allowed us to check in early. The hotel is very historic and charming. Rooms were very clean and modern.
Only complaint is that we ate in the lobby bar twice where they only had 2 people working and the service was extremely slow. Meals were very good though and excellent value for the prices.

The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room needs to be improved. The shower is somewhat moldy, dusty in corners. No facial tissue.

This place was very historic. I loved the fact all the people who worked with us knew the hotel. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel rooms have been updated to a more modern feel. It had three bed suites which are hard to find.
