Friendly reception. Good breakfast selection. Older style hotel with comfortable rooms.

Old and dirty hotel, attendants with no motivation to work, definitely not going back and I don't recommend it.

Great hotel, awesome staff

I really enjoyed how close the hotel was to the Obelisk and public transportation. It made getting to tourist attractions very simple. No complaints in terms of cleanliness or tidiness of the room. Overall, I’d stay here again.

I am booked in here for 13 nights and last night was our first night.I have paid over U$ 1,500.00 in advance to Expedia and we are trapped in this prison for the next two weeks unless Expedia honour their obligations and move us into a reasonable Hotel or a simple Guesthouse. The breakfast cost over U$20 and you need ton see my photos because no one would believe it could be this bad.The will not even give plates to put cooked food on if the had such but only small side plated.i spoke to the Restaurant manager and he could not see anything wrong, which explains everything. This place with the exception of the reception are has not see paint or maintenance for many decades and not years.Expedia please rescue us from this nightmare.

I love the neighborhood around the hotel
4.2
I didn’t like that the pool wasn’t actually in the same hotel, had to walk a or to another hotel down the street.
4.2
Room facilities was up to our expectation. Clean and Bright. Reception desk service was good, esp. when we need hot water in the night. Restaurant was perfect. Dinner was good and reasonable.
Thanks to the staff on duty who helped with the birthday celebration.
However the breakfast spread could be improved. And step/stair landing at entrance should be improve to allow luggage handling.
4.2
We ate most of our meals at the hotel, fresh, good choice & service, reasonable prices too.
The hotel arranged a Tango Dinner Dancing Show for us with hotel pick up & drop off - excellent. You can do money exchange there too, avoiding the ATM charges, rates are reasonable.

Front Desk staff is amazingly friendly and cooperative to customer needs. Location is central, safe and clean with eateries on walking distance
4.2
The hotel is in desperate need of upgrades. It feels totally neglected. I regret staying at the hotel. For a few dollars more I could of stayed in a much better hotel if I hadn't booked it. Very disappointed!
4.2
Perfect location to stay in Buenos Aires. Walking distance to so many places. Reception was very helpful. The only negative was the hotel bar. Staff were not bar savvy at all.
4.2
The room proved to be very comfortable. However, when trying to use the safe box in the room, there wasn't any sign showing how to open or close it.
4.2
Staff super helpful. Property in the hub if the city.
4.2
The room was clean although there was a mix up with an early check-in & an airport pick up. Not too helpful explaining where I was on the map but otherwise okay.
4.2
Needed a place to stay on our return to BA from a fishing trip. Our original choice was not available and the Cyan was close to Recoleta. The Cyan is in a good location and has seen better days.
4.2
The hotel's location was amazing: less than 5 minutes walking from the Colón Theatre and the Obelisk. The bed was very comfortable, though the air conditioner did not get the room cold enough. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel in future visits.
4.2
Nice hotel in central Buenos Aires. From outside, it doesn’t look like much, but inside is acceptable. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is sufficient. For the price, I was satisfied.

Hotel has always been a favorite. Will return on next trip. Location is excellent to navigate the city.
4.2
Staff very helpful. Location very good for walk to many sites and transportation access. Reasonable exchange rate for US $ to Agentine peso at hotel. Room size and breakfast are adequate.
4.2
On arrival the porter was most helpful although the reception staff were a little stern. On the way to the room there was a bad smell in the corridors. The room was essentially clean except for small areas that had been overlooked which you would expect a top hotel to have dealt with. The hotel was clearly overdue for a bit of TLC.
The breakfasts were good but short on cooked items where there was only scrambled egg and small sausages. Dinner was disappointing. Some items on the menu were not available, there was only one white wine of about the eight listed, and the hotel had no gin. The restaurant staff initially appeared miserable but improved overtime. It may have been more embarrassment than attitude, due to the lack of availability.
The location was very good.
The hotel advertises itself as 4 star, but in our opinion would struggle to make 3 stars. We would not use this hotel again.
4.2
Overall the hotel was nice and in a great location. The service was fabulous and very helpful. The clerk spoke very good English and helped me get situated for my vacation. The room was a little outdated and drab but still clean and very comfortable. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and a supermarket around the corner for my water and soda needs. The Wifi worked great and the room had a small refrigerator.

It was a excellent experience

I was already scheduled to stay at this hotel through a tour company and I booked any additional night to extend my stay in Buenos Aires (so I stayed here for a total of 4 nights in April 2018). I don’t have any complaints from my stay and will try to keep this review factual so you have things to consider when making a decision. The hotel is centrally located with lots of shopping and food options nearby. My room was a decent size (two twin beds pushed together to make a king). It was a more classic style décor (large wood built-in closets/storage). Bathroom was a little small. It had a tub/shower combo. The hotel serves a standard continental breakfast. There was some confusion about the front desk calling a taxi for me on my final morning, but I was in a hurry so I just walked outside and flagged one down. Another morning they called a taxi for me and it was there within 10 minutes.Would I recommend this hotel? It really just depends on what you want. If you are looking for a big, modern, American-style hotel then this hotel is probably not for you. It’s more reminiscent of the European-style hotel experience. I did not have any issues with my room or customer service that would prevent me from recommending this hotel

niceold fashioned family hotel to stay at a. resonable price

Details! That is what we mostly appreciate. And we received a lot of them from people at the front desk, room cleaners, restaurant attendants. The excellent ubication also helped to make our days easier and more enjoyable.
