Good value for money, good location and all the basic services available

This hotel is the worst hotel in Blackpool, the staff have no concept of customer service. My room 615 had a terrible smell, which the accommodation staff would know about. Whilst having a shower, a spider came out of the air vent in the bathroom.
The breakfast servings were extremely unpleasant.
Guests smoking outside the hotel door leaving it unseemly especially if you have a health condition.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel😡

Nice room comfy bed. Dog friendly.

Realy good stay friendly staff quick check-in good location for all the attraction had a car in car park but used the local trams very frequent and tram stop outside the hotel.

Tried ringing on route as we were scheduled to get to the hotel a bit earlier than 3, but no one answered my calls.
Arrived to huge queue and one chap trying to sort everything out.
Room wasn't ready and vague answer of it'll be ready sometime between 3 and 4 despite advertising check in at 3.
No where open for a cuppa or any sort of drink until after 3, so we waited in the reception.
Finally got to room. Very tired and basic, needs money spent on it.Daughter's bathroom door was locked so had to get someone to open it. My bedroom window catch was broken off so couldn't open it to let any fresh air in.
Mattress was rock hard and very creaky bed.
Breakfast was buffet style and plenty of it. Although queues were long
Not really enough staff to go round though.
It did us for one night on the way back down south, but I wouldn't rush back.

Had a very late check in and this was agreed with the hotel which was great. The only issue was the room we were given had not been cleaned but this was resolved very quickly.
The hotel is in a good location with a tram stop nearby and about 15-20 minute walk to North Pier.
The hotel feels a bit tired and in need of a freshen up. However no complaints, it was what it was and I'd stay again.

Hotel room was clean & comfortable.Customer service was ok/average. Went to bar on arrival to purchase coffees. Bar man did not seem knowledgeable or interested. Ordered two cappuccino’s which my friend paid £7 for. Took 10 minutes to make and was more like instant coffee with an awful after taste. Returned to the bar with coffees & told him they were undrinkable. He offered to get someone to make some more to which we replied we didn’t have time as we needed to get ready for our evening so requested a refund to which he said it was company policy they don’t do refunds. Then re-appeared 5 minutes later with 2 coffee machine cappuccinos with chocolate thrown on top. When we later complained at the reception we were told there was a form to fill in, which we did & the would refund the following morning. No apology was offered. Breakfast was pre paid for with our booking & was awful also. Tasteless & unappetising. Paid £167 with an NHS 10% discount for 2 people. Overall very disappointed with the whole experience, especially as this was a birthday treat.

Had the upgraded seafront double room which was ok the problem was the whole hotel was freezing. 6 degrees outside and felt colder inside. Did raise it with reception who was aware of problem and not new. Radiator did come in in room for about 45 mins but was then went off again. If I stayed here again I would bring my own heater! Heating is a added option it should be included

Truly disappointing experience dirty badly maintained and ruined the weekend

Convenient for tram stop and Blackpool tower
Hotel maybe a little tired but I would stay here again parking , good breakfasts and the shower was good

The hotel is in very poor condition, or at least the rooms are. My room had a sea view, which I think from the layout they all do. The carpet was threadbare and dirty, the bathroom has had bodged repairs and the bed wasn't particularly comfortable.
It was very hard to locate reception staff and I had to use my phone to call the hotel to get service at reception a number of times.
The pool is however nice, well maintained and clean. It wasn't busy and it's actually a nice way to spend an afternoon or something.
That said, the price was very cheap, at least compared to somewhere like Liverpool or Manchester, so it could be a case of you get what you pay for. It was one of the more expensive options for Blackpool though.
We left early and got a much nicer place for the same and then lower rate though.

Very comfy, slept like a log. A bit dated…but still my first thought when staying in Blackpool.

It was okay and the view was lovely - nothing great nothing terrible - could hear neighbours next door.

Room was nice. Big bed and lovely sea view. Lots of amenities. However WiFi signal very poor and drinks at bar not good. Disabled badge gave us free parking and swimming pool was great.

Just all round a dirty room and hotel bed sheets where all stained, no towels had to ask for some and the towels that where given were hand towels, just will never stay their again

Check in process was not too bad, friendly and polite staff. However the condition of the room was terrible. The beds creaked very loudly with every move that they would wake up the other person in the room, they were terribly un comfy and one had stains. All the art had been removed from the room so there as random screws and nails hanging out the walls. The shower rail was falling off the wall and was held in place by a tiny screw which kept falling. The desk and cupboard was all scratched and falling apart. There was friendly staff at reception the 3 times I went down, (check in, to ask a question and check out). There are lifts and plenty access for individuals with reduced mobility. There is a pool and it costs £2 per adult and £1 per child however we did not use it as it was closed during the time we were there. Parking is £7 per day and that’s paid at reception. The car park is filthy, full of potholes and rubbish everywhere. Smallish spaces so not east to access the likes of back doors or car seats. Bus stops and tram stops almost across the road from the hotel which was quite handy, only a 5-10 minute tram from Blackpool Tower.

Stayed here between 13-09-2024 to 15-09-2024, from parking up Friday night to having breakfast and evening meal on Saturday this was a hotel which I would have rated excellent, very quiet, relaxing, calming hotel, the hotel is very clean, the staff will do anything for you and its generally quiet. The food is excellent. The rooms are everything you will need. No issues with parking or access to local tram route. Then this morning the hotel is taken over by children running around, I believe there was a dance class or something, which just led to the calm and peace and tranquil to become stressful, noisy and unruly. Shame really as I would really rate this place had this not happened this morning. I believe this is a regular Sunday thing, so be aware.

Stayed as husband in local hospital and used as base. Would have preferred it if there had been a coffee lounge to have a drink in instead of having to drink on room. As a senior on her own clubs and pubs not an option and didn’t find anywhere local for refreshments. Having said that I would stay again but be more prepared. Corner room but good view of sea. Room spotless. Bed comfy.

Staying for three nights was told at reception that towels and bedsheets would not be changed. Beds would not be made up as no room service for less than four days. Buffet evening meal was tepid and poor selection. Gave it a miss on the second day. At the bar there was no bitter available only lager. The pool charged £1 to use a towel and £2 to enter the pool, sauna and steam room for 30 minutes. The room its self was ok, just, but the carpet was stained in several places (room 370). The three lifts were good but one was out of order. We didn’t know that dogs were allowed and the room opposite had a dog barking at night.
Had to ask for more tea and coffee, but was told that we couldn’t have extra biscuits. Great view of the tower and sea in 730. There were notices explaining that service was not up to normal standard, but no reason why. It seems that the management were trying to cut costs to boost revenue. Will not stay there again. I guess when it was a Hilton, it was a good hotel, but it’s gone downhill now.

Room was hot even with the window open and the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever had to sleep in
Can’t comment on staff as didn’t need them for anything the hotel itself was nice and clean so apart from the uncomfortable bed not too bad maybe better in the winter as the rooms will be warm

Reception and the restaurant areas were excellent, but the carpet in my room was dirty and threadbare in places.

Rooms get clean only every 3 days. Cleanness is overall bad. You have to pay for to use the pool. Food was really bad quality and very little variety. Staff nice and friendly. Close to town, around 15/20 mins walk.

The property loaction was ideal, the hotel standards are dyer, food choice is limited if you can get a seat and no one is throwing up. Rooms are old fashioned and dated need attention from cleaning to reparis. Banging doors all night and wind was a nightmare.

The Hotel is okay. But we went when a Dance contest was going on in a few days. And the hotel was packed with people. These dancers also took it upon themselves to rehearse outside, very loudly in the car park
Only 3 lifts available for the whole hotel, with one broken. And people kept clamouring for the lifts, to the point we stopped waiting and went up the stairs. And continued this way throughout our stay, as the lifts were always packed with people.
The rooms are very clean and tidy. The bathroom ceiling did have mould on it. Which was sort of to be expected, but it does need some sort of extractor in there for steam from the shower.
And the flush on the toilet was temperamental at times. To the point I fixed the handle...
Very expensive for drinks. And the staff in the bar were very laxed at times.
I would go again though. As the cleanliness inside was superb... But will go to the COOP for drinks.

The bar ran out of drinks, the lift was broken. The pool was closed. There were no towels, the buffet looked like it had been sitting there for hours, you could barely see out of the windows in the rooms through dirt. Thank god it was only one night...

The mattress on bed cheap you could feel every spring spoilt our sleep

The hotel isngoing through room refurbishment. I felt the reception staff not very professional. Just felt like they were all on the first day of the position! We booked for 5 nights and our rooms were not cleaned once.
We booked a late check out and we were asked twice what time we were leaving we booked the room til midday and awoken at 9.30am.

Windows were broken and couldn't open,no maintenance after 5pm to fix them.lipstick mark's on the wall, asked for a second fan as the room was like a sauna, never received it.
We were supposed to stay 3 nights but we had to check out after one night.
The staff were helpful but I feel sorry for them working there

Tea cups still got left over drink in them from previous occupants along with a dirty sticky spoon. Hairs all over the bed and also all around the bathroom, minging!!
My room was 302 and my neighbours decided to have a bit of a party from around 1.30 till 4am in between having a bath. I’ve stopped here on numerous occasions but definitely won’t be doing again. So old fashioned. Needs a total makeover.
