Staff was helpful and accommodating

We pulled up and the lady at the desk was sitting on the curb with another lady smoking. She said she’s on her way in. Got inside and someone was waiting for clean towels and to take out the garbage in his room! He ended up doing it himself and just needed garbage bags! The lady at the front desk was very friendly and nice. The room was ok and beds were comfortable. Their continental breakfast wasn’t good. Didn’t even have a toaster for toast. Not a lot to choose from. We would not stay here again.

Front desk staff was very accommodating! Be sure to request a pet free room if you don’t like pet hair, etc.. pets are allowed here and all rooms have carpet. We asked for an upper room that was pet free and we were fine.,breakfast was fine for a super 8, packaged oatmeal, apples, oranges, juices.pastries in package… bathroom caulking could be improved but we didn’t expect much based on the ratings and past reviews. However, front desk staff was excellent and that’s hard to find these days!!

Located close to House on the Rock & Cave of the Mounds. For some reason I thought there was a pool, so that was a disappointment. The whirlpool/hot tub would have been a substitute but it was out of commission. Nothing fancy but everything we needed.

The room was clean and quiet. The staff was TERRIBLE. The day staff was unprofessional and not hospitable at all. The staff and TV in the breakfast area was so loud I took my coffee and book to my car. The breakfast was very minimal which was expected for a Super 8, but I went down to the breakfast area and an hour later my daughter went down and nothing had been replenished. Then the day staff was complaining about the request that I put on the Expedia reservation for a roll away bed. She said that she could not believe we put that request since we had four people in a two queen size room. My daughter told her that it was our room and we never got the roll away. She should not have questioned my request. The reason for my request was that my 14 year old grandson was in our room and he should not have to sleep with his Grandma, aunt or Mom. Then when we left my daughter dropped off the key at the front desk, waited for staff to acknowledge that we were checking out and the desk staff asked if she needed anything. We all agreed we would NEVER stay in this $*#@hole again!

If all you're looking for is a good clean place to stay, this Super 8 is alright. Bed is a bit lacking but for a few nights it was comfortable enough. The furniture is servicable but definitely been bumped around. I definately just need a place to sleep, not to impress and this place was just fine. Nice and quiet too. No loud street traffic. The shower was great, good water pressure, nice shower head. Cant tell you about the pillows, I bring my own. A/C worked good. Nice cafe to eat at , easy to walk to, on the corner. Jacuzzi was closed first few days, but did open . We did enjoy it. We didnt use the fitness room, nor did we have their breakfast. Desk clerk, Marsha offered suggestions on local dining, which was really nice and we did enjoy eating at : Bobs Bitchin BBQ, Dino's Bar & Grill, Ope Haus in Barneveld, and the Cafe on the corner from the motel.

The folks that ran the hotel were warm and friendly. They made us feel like home. The hotel is in bad need of updating.

Property was listed as having breakfast. Breakfast consisted of a few snack bars, a few bananas and a couple of bags of instant oatmeal. This is not my idea of breakfast…, it was a joke! I’ll never stay at this property again!

Needs updating the door was broken, cabinets broken, lots of stains in carpet.

This property left little to be desired.

Hotel stated there was breakfast which consisted of pre wrapped pastries,granola bars and oatmeal packets. The juice dispenser wasn't working

Someone was working on the wallpaper outside my door around 6:00am. It woke me up. Not good when you are trying to sleep

They were having a full on party in the lobby with drinking and yelling. I was trying to do my laundry and those same people were giving haircuts. The teenagers were running up and down the hallways and the stairs knocking on our doors , it was ridiculous

The staff was friendly and the hot tub was great. The room was dated though and really needs to be updated and new furniture.

sink was plugged, Toilet was dirty, they took care of it. Refrigerator froze our food. Not much of a breakfast. The staff were nice when we reported issues. The bed was clean. The hall doors slammed on there own. So loud at times.

There was no bathroom light and they have no hot breakfast. The cold breakfast had limited selection to offer.

Great service but $140 a night is a bit extreme especially with not much of a breakfast

On a trip to visit family we scheduled an overnight at this property. The price was great. The check in staff was efficient and cordial. The room was very nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable. We were going to use the hot tub but decided not even after checking it out and being told by a couple using it that it was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Not very prompt at check in. The rooms were not cleaned well. Black ring around toilet. No shampoo in rooms and floors were dirty. Duct tape on door so people could get in without a key. The parking lot near dumpsters looked like a junkyard.

Bathroom was Not clean, black mold ring in toilet and black mold in caulking around tub and toilet ! Nothing but tiny granola bars for breakfast and would Never recommend anyone stay there!

My compliments to the staff. They're really friendly and helpful. My biggest complaint about the property is the sheets aren't big enough for the bed. The fitted sheet would not stay on the mattress.

There was a dirty t shirt left in our room, the smell was overbearing, very dirty.

Older property and the room smelled like an old basement bit it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful with local recommendations.

Nice staff, quiet room. Carpet had numerous stains and was not vacuumed around nightstand. Otherwise the room was clean.

everything was good except we were staying for a number of days, but we had to have our keys recharged everyday.
