I go for the tributes but the rooms can do with a makeover it’s still the same decor from 2 years ago n the smell of damp in hallway
3.7
Was amazing but our room hadn’t been hoovered etc
3.7
Definetly dont just a book by its cover. Outside of building needs a makeover, pleasantly surprised on arrival, lovely modern reception and seating area, had a fantastic meal and wine very reasonably priced, room was small but very clean, had a good nights sleep, would recommend and would definitely return as didnt have time to use the leisure facilities.
3.7
Busy hotel with lots of coach parties.Pros - great breakfast, and updated communal areas Cons - rooms are a bit outdated and cramped, and a bit noisy from the aeroplanes.
3.7
I’ve stayed in the executive rooms and they are ok, the normal rooms are awful, tired, outdated, worn.
The halls have thread bare carpets and all the plastic toilet seats are loose, grout dirty in bathroom and don’t mention the almost nightly false fire alarms from people smoking in their rooms
The locals call the Normandy “faulty towers” and I can’t argue
3.7
Tge stay was okay apart from the fire alarm going off at 6.30 in the morning

We stayed for 5 days in what we later understood, had been a renovated and upgraded room on Floor 1.
We noticed a lack of shelf space in the bathroom so our wash bags had to be placed on the floor. In addition there were only 2 coat hangers in the room, we had to request at least 4 more hangers.
Breakfast was included and generally offered a wide selection. At times it could have been warmer.
Towels were changed 3 times and we noticed that there was not a toilet brush located in the bathroom.
Generally the stay was enjoyable and satisfactory.
Would stay again very convenient for Glasgow Airport.
Bear in mind any taxi service from the airport will charge an extra £5.85 for a pickup charge levied by the airport.
Pandemic was a good excuse to put up charges.

We had a great time n had a unexpected nite 2 the events nite which was really gd food gd staff lovely n very helpful

Great staff, bathroom could manage an upgrade

Hotel décor is tired and dated, rooms were clean, food was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located in a quiet location. most likely stay there again

Upon arrival, I was greeted by a rather stern receptionist who inquired about the absence of a bank card for security purposes, as I prefer to store all my cards securely in my Google Wallet.
Proceeding to my executive room, I found it to be clean and well-appointed, albeit somewhat compact.
At 19:00, I placed an order for dinner, specifically a steak. Regrettably, it arrived 45 minutes later, suggesting a potential issue with the meat preparation process.
Despite the extended wait, I must commend the exceptional quality of the steak.
Subsequently, I ordered a cheese board at 20:00, which unfortunately arrived 40 minutes later.
Overall, while the overnight stay was generally satisfactory, the restaurant's protracted food preparation times detracted from the experience.
Were it not for these delays, I would have gladly rated the establishment with four stars.

Nice quiet hotel. Sure could use a small store in the hotel to purchase water, colas, candy, toiletries such as toothpaste, lotion, etc. Definitely needed. Staff friendly from reception desk to housekeeping. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Had a great nights stay at the Normandy Hotel before traveling to Spain. The staff were very helpful. Booked up food and it was excellent as well. The minibus took us to the airport and picked us back up and parking was no problem for the week. All in all would book this again when travelling from Glasgow airport.
3.7
It was handy for the airport. Beds were comfortable and the interior of the hotel was lovely.

This property was a big let down. I booked the executive room and it was more like a basic room. There was nothing executive about it for the price I paid. Constant door banging till late at night. Bath had a dangerous metal ridge that would have cut you if you went for a bath/shower. Bar staff were lovely but reception one lady in particular should not be your first contact. She was rude, looked unhappy and she was not very friendly . I also witnessed her being rude to some other Canadian guests checking out. I was expecting big things when I picked the executive room . But I would have been better with a premier inn . The lighting in the room was also poor. The tiles were cracked in the bathroom . Also the room was just small basic plan standard room. There fore should not be on the website as an executive suite. Also house keepers are very loud in the morning. If you won’t to relax and get any sleep. Or even have a smile at reception don’t book this pit of a hotel

While it is an older hotel it was clean and tidy and staff were friendly and helpful. The only issues for me was the thin walls and poor hot water. We could hear people in the next room talking and the showers werent very hot.
3.7
Location to GLA airport was great and staff was excellent, grounds were quite nice. The building inside, especially the carpet, was dirty and smelled of old smoke. New carpet and bedding would go a long way to improve. If you need a place close to stay for the airport, this functionally works great for that purpose. If you’re looking for a clean place to stay near Glasgow, there are definitely better choices.

We stayed at the Normandy for 1 night as we were attending a gig at Bellahouston. The hotel is perfect if you are looking for a budget friendly hotel, the room was clean and had all the amenities. The hotel was a little bit tired, but doesn’t affect your stay. The staff were especially helpful, helping us with taxis and information about the area. Would definitely recommend

Wonderful staff. Very comfortable, clean, relaxed stay. Nice breakfast in the morning too.
3.7
Liked all fab stay polite staff
Just one thing on mini fridge would be ideal for bottles and/or cans to keep cold
3.7
It was straight forward. Comfy bed.
Wecoming receptionist. Easy parking.
Easy access from the motorway.
3.7
Room was small and was hard.place was very clean . Dinner and lunch were poor but breakfast was great
3.7
The sheets and bathroom were clean. Check in/out was smooth and the staff were pleasant. The room very small and shabby/dated, although reviews say some have been revamped. The bed was uncomfortable. We struggled with parking - there were plenty of spaces but we arrived during a function. Lots of smokers hovering around the entrance. We only booked as part of an airport parking deal, so only there for one night.
3.7
Excellent service everyone so friendly made to feel so welcome room was amazing hotel is being all done up beautiful
3.7
had another amazing stay at the Normandy
3.7
We stayed there only to be close to the airport 10 minutes away.
They gave us a room in the old section with old rugs, old torn down furniture and bathroom. No fridges in rooms.
Staff not too friendly.
They said they were overbooked and couldn’t accommodate us better.
Would not recommend anyone to go there.

All good

Attended a function. It was extremely busy and the food service was slow however overall we had an enjoyable night

The hotel had apparently been refitted, but the beds felt like they were designed by someone who thinks rocks are too soft. Seriously, I like a firm mattress, but this was like sleeping on a plank! They did provide me with a couple of thin toppers after I asked, but it was like putting a Band-Aid on a broken leg. Honestly, I would’ve preferred an older room with a decent bed.
The newly refurbished room looked okay at first glance, but then the bathroom revealed its true colors: shoddy workmanship galore! Rails were hanging off, holes left unfilled, and the floor was squelchier than a wet sponge. To top it all off, the tiles weren't even grouted. A true masterpiece of “I-don’t-care” construction.
Dinner was a comedy of errors. They often forgot the starters, made us wait ages, or just didn’t have items in stock. And breakfast? It started at 6:30 am, but good luck getting eggs. There were either none available, or they were so undercooked they looked like a scene from a horror movie – eggs should not be that snotty.
On the bright side, a few staff members were genuinely helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, this was balanced out by others who could give grumpiness a run for its money.
Overall, it's okay for a one-night stay if you're flying out the next day – but only if you pack your sense of humor and maybe a sleeping bag. 😅
3.7
Staff were nice and accommodating.
3.7
Very nice hotel. Exterior looks like the 1970's a bit but don't be put off, inside is modern, clean, and we'll put together.
Staff are friendly and helpful, parking is free and the location is good for the airport and central Paisley.
Food is good, and they have a vegan menu if that's your thing.
3.7
An average hotel but wouldn’t stay again
3.7
The hotel needs a revamp but it was cheap and cheerful and a good breakfast. The staff were very pleasant and helpful
3.7
Stayed for 2 nights, no do not disturb/service sign, asked for one and didn’t get, so room was not serviced, lights broken in room, bathroom toilet lid broken, not a good stay this time
3.7
We have stayed here a few time both for a shopping weekend or park and fly
On all accounts we have never been disappointed with our stay in the Normandy Hotel
Warm welcome at reception on arrival checked in very quickly
Back again for park and fly On the 9th Feb

I only stayed the 1 night and got there very late, so I don't have a lot of details. The front desk personnel were very nice - I just happened to arrive at a VERY BUSY time (Friday night, possibly some sports teams were there?). The room was acceptable - my bathroom had large water stains/damage on the wall between the sink and the toilet - and the large towel and tub both had curly hair(s) on it, so I did not take a shower. I didn't report this at the time as I was leaving to catch a plane. Overall, it was meh, but the price was also kinda meh, so it matched. If necessary, I would stay there again.

very clean and nice smelling hotel. Welcoming. Convenient for airport

Room was dated, very small tv, water marks on furniture, chewing gum stain on carpet, carpet also had a rip in it. The bathroom mirror which had a fitted light didn't work
