The hotel was beautiful; the staff helpful and friendly. Parking was $50 for 10 hours.

Great room, great location and everyone was friendly

We had a great time except a few minor inconveniences. Our mirror for the closet was broken and we didn't get any wash clothes in the room. The staff were friendly and nice. The room was a great size we were only staying one night. Valet was convenient so it all worked out. The bar downstairs was great. Overall good experience

We love this place! Great location nice bar, comfy rooms

Would stay again

I was extremely disappointed with the level of service at this hotel. The staff treatment was mediocre at best, showing little regard for guest satisfaction. My interactions with the reservation manager were particularly frustrating. They were uncooperative and unhelpful, making what should have been a simple process unnecessarily difficult. Despite repeated attempts to resolve my issues, I found the reservation manager to be dismissive and unwilling to assist in any meaningful way. This lack of professionalism and courtesy is unacceptable and significantly impacted my experience. I expected much better service and will not be returning to this hotel.

While quaint, this hotel was understaffed. Waits to check in, get your car, ask questions, etc where way too long. Multiple occasions the food service staff went looking for the front desk clerk, the hub of everything. Service did not seem like it was a priority.
4.3
The hotel is nice, but the service is trash. I had to ask for my room to be turned over daily, and I always needed to call down for towels; the front desk staff didn't care. Too much money is spent on poor service. I spoke to the front desk multiple times during the 9-day stay and expressed this was a work trip. I still came back, and the room wasn't turned over, and there were no clean towels.
4.3
A lovely hotel with friendly staff, a nice restaurant and bar.
4.3
The rooms were VERY poorly lit, even the bathrooms. For women, that's a killer for putting on makeup.
4.3
Tax after tax for extra tax fee in the garage to $30.00 fee on the tax fees
Resorts fee and this is not a resort hotel by any means we in our 70 don't use father pools and fitness facilities
4.3
Great customer service and friendly staffs especially Marcell and Teddy. I had a great stay and will definitely come back. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
4.3
The staff at the St. Gregory went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The area is nice and feels safe, and is close to many attractions and restaurants.
4.3
Area is very good. However, I did notice other reviews say the AC was loud and I thought before booking it was not problem. But we booked 2 rooms on completely different floors and the AC was sooo loud. It kept making clicking noises every 30 seconds. After a while it got really old. Second thing was I personally did not then it was so clean. It was definitely very mediocre. I give the stay a 3 star.

Favorite hotel

Nice lobby, renewed. Staff helpful. Room was spacious, however outdated and need renewing.
My room had the noisiest air-conditioning I have ever seen. Felt like sleeping in a factory or old lab. When outside was more than 100 degrees.
Bedding is good, however you sink on the mattress. Springs are old.
Internet connection really poor and slow. They charge for better internet. Feels like 15 years ago.
Breakfast was served until 11am. I got there 10:40 and barman said I could only take away cause they needed the place emptied by 11. Anyway I didn't care and ate there. Left at 11:05.
The hotel is in a great location, has a lot of potential. Don't think I would stay there again. Possibly if cheaper than other options.

Marcel (front desk manager) was awesome. We had a couple of small issues which Marcel addresses immediately and without dispute. His offer to compensate was above and beyond our expectation and was so professionally handled, we will not hesitate to return!
4.3
I had a trip cancelled due to unexpected flight cancellation by the airline and this hotel refund me through Expedia (Thank you Cindy!)

I recently had a delightful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly and courteously. The hotel was impeccably clean, which made for a comfortable and relaxing environment. I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

The AC unit looked like it was going to break and also the noise it made when it turn on or off sounded like it was about to blow up. Other than that, it was great
4.3
I loved the live jazz band and singer on Saturday evening.
4.3
Staff were kind and attentive. The rooms were clean and the location was great!
4.3
This hotel is in the absolute perfect location - to Dupont Circle, Georgetown and Foggy Bottom. The hotel is totally comfortable and had a great staff. And - there is a nice restaurant and bar if you just prefer to keep it close for a few hours.
4.3
Thank you for a very nice stay.

Everyone was very helpful and great attitude and attention to detail. The Bristo has great food, especially breakfast. Cleaning staff did a great job in maintaining cleanliness and order in our room.
4.3
Room was clean, and the staff was friendly.
4.3
Everyone was nice and helpful. The hotel is beautiful. It was quiet and within walking distance of everything. We were in
Town for my Aunts Arlington funeral and found rest and wonderful staff.
4.3
Service in restaurant was poor - too much talk amongst staff with little focus on customers. Apart from this, perfect stay.
4.3
Rooms were poorly laid out and not the cleanest. Service and staff were very good though, and you can't beat the location between Foggy Bottom and Dupont Circle!
4.3
Very nice and able to get me an upgrade
4.3
Pros: great location, friendly staff, separate sink in sitting area, coffee/tea
Negative: room is very dated, one set of windows faced the outside garbage/refuse area, both mattresses sagged towards the edge, with little support; bathroom - above sink ledges worn and scraped, one tissue box supplies for entire room, no toiletries except one small bar of hand soap (no soap dish, toothbrush, vanity kit, etc), scratchy thin towels, bathtub bottom scraped and yellow, water damage on wall outside bathroom shower head side
Not worth $500 for one night
4.3
Room was neat, clean and well designed. Small leak in the bathroom coming from the sink. Tried to call the front desk the first night but got no answers. Second night customer service was better. Enjoyed the valet parking and the ambiance of the hotel. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Would definitely stay again.
4.3
Hotel was vey nice. Clean, and comfortable.
4.3
Really cute hotel! Love that you need a key card to use the elevator so not just anybody can go up to the rooms. Parking was vallet, it was around $50/60 a day and you can come and go as you please which was nice but its in a great location so you really dont need to drive to get around. Just note that parking elsewhere you have a high chance of getting a ticket, there are parking cops everywhere!! There was a jazz band playing in the lobby that was great our first night. Really nice atmosphere all around and room was very clean.
4.3
Staff was great Supervisor Marcel excellent.

We had not previously heard of this hotel but it was a pleasant surprise. Nice spacious rooms, very clean, and good amenities. Restaurant is very good too. Convenient and safe neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.
4.3
While my wife and I were only there for 2 days, 1 night, our stay was very pleasant. I had no problems. Very nice hotel, good location in the DC downtown area. Also very close to the Metro train which we will take to the Dulles airport next time. Taxi was very expensive going back and forth.
4.3
Very friendly staff. Great location for our weekend activities. Felt very safe walking to and from the hotel even at night. Great places to eat close by.
4.3
Wonderful place with friendly staff and delicious restaurants. Very conveniently located near bars, restaurants, and night life but not so close as to be disturbed by any noise.
4.3
Great staff
