Larkspur was a great place for a business or short trip. The comfort of the bed was decent. Black out curtains were great. The staff was pretty noisy in the morning during turn over.

We arrived late evening; the clerk signed us in efficiently; our room was outdated and looked to be from a 70's porno. When I went to use the kitchenette, the pipe under the sink was cracked, being held on by a molded towel, with mold all over the bottom of the cabinet inside.
So I moved to the bathroom to wash my hands and found the sink was broken and had what looked like a bullet hit it. The Bed was harder than stone, and the hallways were like they came from the Overlook Hotel and Lodge.
In conclusion, I will not be coming back to this Extended Stay.

The place is always clean and inviting. The cookies at the front desk is good. I love that they have everything you need in the room such as a microwave, fridge, freezer, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and to top it off free breakfast.

Looks great from outside but very old on the inside. Carpets are very old and seem dirty. The room had a definite musty smell and dust mites. Breakfast service was meh and front desk was barely helpful. I would not recommend this place.

First room we were given there was a terrible smell in the room. Went back to the front desk and luckily was given another room. That room was did not smell but was hot. The room looks old, the walls had repairs done but not painted. The bed was soft, pillows were flat. Smell in the hallway was either people’s cooking or just musty. The outside looks amazing.

The restroom door wouldn't close right. The room smelled musty. The carpet looked old. The bathroom sink was cracked and missing little pieces of the counter.

This is nice place to stay but this is the first hotel that didn’t have toothpaste, toothbrushes, or lotions. I usually bring that stuff with me, but moving out town lasted more then expected and decided to reserved a room to rest and its was pretty bare.

The staff is always super friendly and the rooms are great for the price!

This property offered everything I needed. The room was quiet. The bed was soft and comfortable. The staff was very nice. I didn’t give five stars because it was a little smelly, not horribly smelly, but it was like a wet carpet that hadn’t dried all the way, if that makes sense. But we have a little air freshener with us and that was just fine. I probably wouldn’t choose this property for an extended stay but for just needing a room for the night or weekend it was perfect. I would absolutely stay here again.

I had a very hard time opening my room door, I had to ram my shoulder into it in order to push it open. I went to bed hearing yelling and was awoken earlier than I wanted also by a man yelling.

Usually quiet but this time I could hear people next door. Also found ants in bathroom and forgot to tell staff.

The rooms are clean and spacious.
I was on the 5th floor, where I experienced a lot of noise from the air conditioning system located on the roof. I closed the bathroom door to minimize the sound coming through the vent. Additionally, my room faced the freeway, which was under construction at night, leading to even more noise.
There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I had to call three times for toilet paper, a razor blade, and extra towels, but I didn’t receive anything until after 9 am, and even then, it was just one roll of toilet paper. They did not provide the extra towels or the razor blade. For a hotel of this caliber, the customer service was extremely lacking. It’s unacceptable that I had to request toilet paper after already paying for my stay, expecting all necessities to be provided. If housekeeping is unavailable, management should step in and address such requests promptly—there should be no exceptions.

We had a nice and quiet stay, enjoyed our stay. More choices for breakfast would’ve been great (potatoes and waffles or pancakes).
Also, please fix the door on room 415, it was really hard to open.

Booked this hotel for my man that had to work in San Jose for a week. I would personally would never stay because he mention cockroaches and the smell of urine. But for him (a man) he said it wasn’t that bad.

The staff was very unprofessional looking and the last was coughing all over the counter not covering it.

We had a mixed experience. The door to the room was broken when we arrived and had to be pushed up in order to close. To their credit, they fixed it the next day. Carpets were old, but the room was clean. Cookies at the front desk were very good. On the second to last night there was a power failure, so no light and no hot water. Power was restored the next day.

Our room (grand suite with balcony) was a generous size and we liked the separate living and dining room.
However, the surfaces felt unclean and gummy to the touch
The dishwasher was not anchored inside the cabinet and the whole unit came out when we tried opening it
The worst part though was a complete hotel power failure and blackout from approx 8 pm on the last night of our stay. I was travelling with two children who were very scared.
We were checking out the next morning and fortunately I’d already done most of our packing.
No one from the hotel came by to check on us and as the electronic key lock wasn’t working we didn’t want to leave the room.
We sat in the dark all night and the power was still out the next day when we left (carrying suitcases etc down four flights in the pitch dark on my own with two children). The food in the fridge had to be left after spoiling in the blackout, an additional waste of good money.
The front desk people were very kind (offered to have my kids sit with them while I moved out bags), but overall the management has been very poor.
Three days later and despite attempts to contact them and requesting a refund there is no response at all. Guess I will need to contact my bank to refuse payment instead.
It it hadn’t been for the blackout I’d have given the hotel a rating of 2.5, only that high because of the room size and the kindness of the people on reception.

Saturday Check in was super late. Their was an issue Friday before and where having a busy weekend fixing multiple issues. Overall The stay was great but could've been excellent.

The property is in need of an overhaul. Everything from the carpet to the curtains. The sanitizing stations by the elevators were dry. I couldn’t get the phone to work in my room, to get the WiFi code. When I opened the dishwasher, it fell out and almost crushed my foot. This hotel is priced like a four or five star place, but is barely a three star.
The one saving grace was the breakfast, it was good.

Great for the pirce, but nothing to write home about, and my mistake, not their's no pool. I would have not booked knowing that

Firstly - the lighting in the room was low. You had to turn on all the lights. The ceiling lights might as well have not been there. One of two sinks was completely clogged and the drain plug disconnected. The circulation of the air from the living area to the bedroom was so poor, I requested a portable fan. The living area was super cold, while the bedroom super hot. There was a nice desk (but too big), but no pen or paper available. As I used the sofa sleeper, one would have thought it would have been made up already. After a very long drive that day, my sister and I had to make up the entire bed from padding, sheets and pillow cases found in the closet. Once the sofa sleeper was down, no one could get around it because of a massive, mostly unnecessary desk which was unmovable. And to top it off, the sofa mattress was thin and lumpy. The price paid for this place would have been better used elsewhere
