It was not great. The hotel is in a weird part of town, it’s been redone but not well and the “restaurant/bar”’is just bizarre. Not to mention the floors were clearly never mopped. Our dog got water from his bowl all over the floor so I wiped up and the pic below shows how disgustingly dirty the floor was.

The cleanliness looked fine but the smell gave me a different idea of how clean it really was. It was as if the previous person in the room chain smoked and then they threw an air freshener bomb in and never aired it out. I opened a window to try and do that only to find out there were no screens so I closed it cause of bugs. The breakfast was also sub par. Was fine for a one night stay but I don’t plan on staying again

Check in was terrible. I used my passport as ID and the gentleman who checked me in acted as he had never seen a passport before. I used this as ID at every other hotel I stayed at this trip (a total of 9) without a single issue. He was perplexed by the fact there my address is not on it. And yet every other hotel took it and one asked me personally for my address and everything was fine. And then when I was putting my card through for the hold in case of incidental charges, my card said approved and told me to remove my card from the machine. The employee (Presley) then told me that it had not gone through and I would have to re-enter it. I told him it had said approved and was not comfortable putting it in again. He did not seem to care that I did not want to do that. Had we not had a 10 hour car ride that day, I would have left. I put my card in again reluctantly. And lo and behold when I got home and checked my credit card statement the card had been entered twice and gone through twice. Of course it dropped off, however perhaps the employee should not automatically assume the customer is wrong. Perhaps some staff training would benefit this establishment. I was treated with a haughtiness I did not appreciate nor did my husband. This one introductory experience to your hotel completely turned me off and I would never recommend it to anyone I know. Too bad, because everyone else we encountered there were very nice.

Good for the price. Large rooms. Dinner left some to be desired. High priced meal without high priced quality. Breakfast showed lots of variety but continued to be empty so there was several people there.

The bathroom was half clean, the room smelled like mildew, the park behind it is beautiful but no access from the hotel to get to it. You'll have to use the bike trail to get there. The hotel is on an old run down mini mall area but the staff was nice. If you're in a car, you'll around nice parks & things to do, but NOT IN WALKING DISTANCE.This place is a hit or miss depending what you are looking for in a hotel. I won't come back

This was a terrible experience. The property was in disrepair. Outdated. Dirty. The breakfast offered was ridiculous. Too spicy. The carpet had big stains all over. The staff was not very friendly. If you are going to be in customer service, learn how to talk to people.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the room was large and spacious, which was great, as we were traveling with our dog. It was also very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The tasty breakfast buffet and the noon check out were pleasant perks to staying at this lovely hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance.

The "hot breakfast consisted of homemade biscuits and gravy, scrambled (real) eggs, bacon/sausage" it was a great treat daily! Plus having breakfast with a view of the river was amazingly gorgeous. Rooms could stand to have the carpet removed but everything else was FABULOUS!

Our room smelled like dog pee and even the front desk worker agreed and apologized profusely. They didn't have any other rooms available so we had to stay and it was absolutely disgusting. In addition, the sinks wouldn't drain. You CANNOT have a pet friendly hotel with carpeting on the floors and you should have dedicated pet friendly hotel rooms.

Hotel was built in 90's and it has an antique look. Antiques was bought from Sultan of Morocco. You can see few antique furniture's in and around the property. Staff's were really nice and the hotel is pet friendly. The property has a well-lit parking lot. There are few family-owned restaurants at a walkable distance (Italian, Mexican). Loves Park is across the river if you want to take your pet for a walk or relax. It is very quiet and away from all the traffic. If you do not mind antique look then you will enjoy the stay. The rooms are update to latest specifications and good breakfast. We spend couple of days and we loved it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay…the lobby with the ornately carved mantels, the elaborate doors and stained glass ceiling medallion was beautiful heightening the experience as you “breakfasted” with views of the river, beaver and lively squirrels…highly recommended!
