Little gem in a city of thousands. Staff were professional and friendly; the room was very comfortable quiet and a high standard with everything you would expect. Very impressed worth another stay in the future.

The Doorman on his phone was so unprofessional and to put it in his pocket was laughable....The room 510 was awful with the window covered over and the noise from the air conditioning units unbelievably loud .The wife went down to reception and asked for a different room which they duly oblged. The second room was better.. Never a 5 star in a million years.

Outstanding hotel. Really beautiful, lovely staff and superb location. I will definitely be back!

Enjoyed our stay overall. 4/5
A few “niggles”.. staff were good but missed out on opportunities other hotels offer such as taking bags to room, showing you features and how they work in the room; the steam room option in the shower didn’t work, and we had a bit of a sleepless night as we didn’t know how to turn off the dressing room light.. plus the noise from the extractor outside.
There was no restaurant option on Sunday, but that wasn’t a problem as we strolled up to The Wolseley.
However, the room was large and bed comfortable. Nice turn down service and the bathroom was good. I can’t fault the housekeepers as, whilst the hotels policy is obviously 1 small shampoo to share, our lovely offered more on request.
Great to see Penhaligon toiletries as a British brand, but they should have been “Blenheim Bouquet” when making a focus on Churchill as part of the branding!

Great property in an incredible part of London.

The hotel is in a great location, is small and boutiquey (which is nice). The air conditioning units from a hotel close by ensured that we had an irritating deep rumble in our room for our two night which wasn't conducive with a good nights sleep. The room was nice enough, but the balcony we had with our Exec room was rather unlike the one on the website and the bathroom was a little smelly (hence the strong diffuser in there I suspect!)

Our room on the sixth floor was lovely; on the small side but with a wonderful balcony. It’s quirks--steps up into the bathroom—were more than offset by its assets—good natural light, excellent bedding, lots of hot water, incredibly quiet. Especially enjoyed the central location—steps from upscale shopping, restaurants, Buckingham Palace, Green Hill tube station.

5-star service in basic four star premises. Grand entrance and public spaces. Bathrooms great but beds disappointing

Front desk welcome wasn’t really a welcome - I felt like I was ‘not the right kind of customer’. Decor is over-grand for the scale of the building. My room was so crammed with giant lamps and oversized coffee makers etc that there’s little space to place a laptop. When the lamps are all on it’s not bright enough, once you’ve worked out how to turn them all off at night it’s not very dark (gaps in blackout blinds). Same in the bathroom crammed with 2 basins but no surface adequate for a makeup bag. Too posh to provide sanitary disposal bags the usual way, instead there is a single one in a cardboard box. Am I supposed to call reception if I change a sanitary pad more than once a day? And cheap hairdryer.
My nan’s old saying ‘fur coat and no knickers’ sums this place up.

Great experience all around. From being initially greeted to the moment we left, we had one pleasant experience after another. Staff was all helpful and kind to my son and I. Room was comfortable, luxurious and clean. Breakfast and room service was all delicious. Highly recommend for any occasion!

We had 2 horrible nights of sleep as the AC wasn’t functioning properly or at all the second day and they had no one to fix it until the next day… unacceptable. They sent us a bottle of Prosecco to appease the situation but didn’t care to ask if we drink or not… also unacceptable. We left it there.

A small but very nice & cozy room with large bathroom with 2 sinks & bath tube. However the room is facing the street, even though it is on a dead end street, every morning, i hear truck noise which woke me up. Wish the furnitures were smaller for the scale of the room so there is a little more room to walk around. Amazing location.

Fab location. Super friendly staff really lovely.
Rooms very comfortable with lovely high beds.

Location very good.
Charged extra for twin beds when the room was the same as double bed.
Expensive for what was on offer.
Breakfast expensive for just a croissant and a tea.

Great quiet location in centre of london. High standards of furniture and tidy/cleaniness. Can’t fault the service.
Only thing that means I wouldn’t give 5 star is the fire alarm went off at 7:30 as a false alarm on Sunday morning.
No their fault, but a note to say sorry and maybe an offer of a complimentary coffee or something would have been nice.

Arrived on Christmas Eve and received warm welcome. We travelled with our daughter and she was delighted to find a stuffed Christmas stocking in the room filled with chocolates and cookies. Services are very good and so is breakfast. Location is great walking distance to shopping districts and theatres.

Lovely quiet boutique hotel just around the corner from the Ritz in Mayfair. Came for the London Christmas lights and weren’t disappointed. The restaurant and bar are top notch. My husband said it was the best Vesper Martini he ever had. Staff were helpful and courteous. No internet TV, but otherwise well appointed room.

Poor service, breakfast is not of a high quality with respect to the price.
Management and people is not of high standard either.
Overpriced.

Great location but the bathroom is a problem. It has a tub with a half door to use for a shower. I am familiar with them but this door seems too small. The first shower ended up with a lot of water on the floor. The next time I was very careful with the door placement and stood as close to the front as I could. Still had to mop the floor. Didn’t use the shower my last day. Need a different door or shower head.

Wonderful hotel, brilliant team and cracking location. Thank you and well done 👏

The hotel is lovely and room are well equipped. Unfortunately my room had a loud humming noise that was less than ideal. Sounded like an industrial extractor fan either below or next to the room. Room 202 is to be avoided.
